The wait time is beyond frustrating They did a procedure on my nephew, one week later he was complaining of pain. Took him back to the office they said it was normal. Two weeks later he's still in pain. Proceeded to take him back only to find out that they cut his gum during the procedure and it became infected. No antibiotics were given at all‼‼‼Their only option is to remove his tooth. He's 3‼ No remorse non whatsoever was given. This place is a joke. My issues were completely dismissed- this office didn't care to apologize, attempt to rectify anything, and clearly did not care about losing 4 patients. Not to mention I was called a liar when I complained about one of my son's appointments being canceled, saying they never called to cancel anything even though I showed my phone records as proof. Went to our own pediatric dentist. Son is combative so we opt to be reffered out for his 3 cavities to be filled via IV sedation. So we were told Tebo Dental (Lilburn) does IV routinely. We have insane insurance so you need to know right off at my sons age IV is 100% covered because of his age no matter the procedure, I called my insurance to confirm before making an apointment with Tebo. Well we get in there and suddenly Tebo thinks he "needs" 6 caps for surface cavities that the dentist also says can be just watched/floss brush. Surface issues I've had that even my dentist wouldnt fill and our dentist didnt feel were enough for treatment given the mouth breathing/adnoid issue. Looking on the x-ray they would be squinters for sure. Given the adenoid issues (90% obstructed being removed in less than a month) I state I just want the cavities filled that were reffered to by the other dentist and we will see how those are doing once we resolve the other issues. Well, woncha know. Suddenly (and I called my insurance before this post after the apointment, so according to Tebo Dental) IV wont be covered if we are just doing the 1 cavity. We need to do "some of the 6 caps" to get IV sedation covered. Which is bullshit. I was not kind in pointing out the money grab when I left. TLDR: went into dentists last week, kid has 3 cavities that need filling. Need IV sedation because kid is combative. TEBO PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY (lilburn, GA) wants me to do 6 caps and lies about my insurance coverage. read more

My grandfather paid them $5,000 to fix my mothers bridge back in 2012. They gave her a temporary and our insurance also paid them $2,000. After the appointment for the temporary, no one contacted us to set up another appointment to finish it and now my mom's bridge has broke in thirds and one was lost. After calling so many times we finally spoke with someone on the phone, she was very rude and disrespectful. Said they did all they could and refuse to fix what they were already paid for which is essentially insurance fraud since they got paid for a job they didn't do. Do not go to this dentistry, even as a child I hated it, they don't make you feel comfortable and they are extremely rude and disrespectful. This place just wants your money. I just received a bill from the dacula location for "behavior management" My 4 yo daughter didnt receive any kind of behavior management. She was nervous and didnt want to get xrays which they didnt force. For the actual cleaning though she sat patiently and the dentist was able to exam her mouth without issue. He did sit and talk to her for a minute before examining her but no extra help was needed. I called to find out what the charge was about and they said it's for her behavior. The insurance woman I spoke with couldn't give me an exact reason for the billing but said if they even have to spend an extra minute with a patient they'll bill it. I told her they really didnt spend extra time with her. She then proceeded to tell me that it's not about spending extra time or anyone having to hold her down and she could see from her chart that she had cried about the xrays. They literally are charging me for my daughter being afraid which the woman told me she wasnt afraid of doing xrays. Honestly it's their fault shes afraid. No one there has ever tried to make her comfortable. I explained this is a pediatric dentist and they should be used to helping their patients be comfortable and that an extra second talking to someone is ridiculous to charge for. I have been very unhappy with my orthodontic treatment at The Tebo dental group office in lilburn. 2 years ago when I came into the office my teeth weren't far from perfect, I wanted minor adjustments to be made to my teeth to achieve a perfect smile. I was promised that my teeth would be perfectly aligned, I trusted that my orthodontist would be able to achieve what she promised me , there's even a video on Tebos website where Anna vu says she's a perfectionist and has a good eye for the smallest imperfections. I've heard the saying that things will get worse before they get better but Dr. vu didn't have much work to do and as time progressed it seemed like my teeth got worse. Dr. vu would explain to me through out the course of my treatment what was going on and what we were fixing but she would leave a lot of information out. I feel like huge mistakes have been made to my teeth. One whole side of my bottom set of teeth is taller than the other side, and that's not how they were when my treatment first started. I took pictures and showed them to my orthodontist, she said that my teeth were Perfect and my braces were ready to come off. I told her I wasn't ready because I still don't have the perfect smile I was promised. She said we could keep them on but she doesn't know what else to do and I would have to tell her what to fix. Why should I have to give my trained orthodontist step by step instructions on how to adjust my braces?i feel like huge mistakes were made with my braces but people are to afraid to admit that there is an issue with my the work that's been done. When I visited the office today I was told that there was no issue with the work that was done it's just an issue with my mouth and my teeth that keeps them from being perfect and aligned properly. I don't trust my orthodontist judgment as sad as that is to say, she's a very sweet lady but can't perform the treatment that I need. I asked for new pictures to be taken so that way we could compare and contrast my before, during and after pictures, it's clear that my bite was fixed but my bottom teeth are out of place and my top teeth aren't perfect either some of the top teeth are longer than others and sticking out further. What I find the most disturbing is that just last Month when I pointed out some of the concerns I listed above Dr. vu said that there were no visible imperfections, however her dental assistant Jessica chimed in and pointed out issues that she saw, Dr. Vu looked upset with her and told her to go check on something else. Now all of a sudden no one in the office sees the problems with my teeth. It became very clear to me that I would have to continue treatment somewhere else, I did ask for a refund and to speak to someone in management. I was told that no one was available, so I asked for a name, a phone number and an email address but I was told that the information wasn't available to the public and that all the managers worked in a separate office at a completely different location. After a while of my skepticism and questions someone finally went to get a manager I could speak to. As soon as I walked into the room where she was she became very defensive and rude she wouldn't even tell me her name. She kept shouting at me and telling me that I was slandering the people's names at her office and saying that they were stealing money, I never even really got a chance to explain to her what my concerns were nor did she care, she was extremely mean. She sarcastically said that she was keeping a mental note of what I was saying so she could report my concerns to the board of managers when they reviewed my case she said that she would make sure to tell them that there stealing my money, she told me that she was done speaking to me and that the conversation was over, she didn't even want to see my teeth which was the reason for my concerns, she stormed out without even giving me her name even though I asked repeatedly. I had to to ask an office assistant who the lady with the red hair I spoke to was and that's when I found out the managers name was Leena Vega.I felt extremely sad I love Tebo, I've been going to the office for some time now. It's sad to say that I will be changing my orthodontist and my adult dentist from Tebo to somewhere else. I've referred many family members, friends and there children here. I feel so sorry that I've done that. I've spent more than $2,400 at Tebo for a messed up smile. I will never recommend this office to anyone ever again and I feel sorry for ever going here. Im asking for a refund so I can continue treatment else where and achieve my perfect smile. Im looking forward to hearing back from someone about my refund. This place shuffles kids in and out like they're cattle. They're not very friendly and I don't think they EVER actually cleaned my child's teeth. They count them and then polish them. They don't make little kids feel comfortable, if your child gets upset they simply put you in the "happy" room. Let me tell you, it's not happy in there! My son was having a hard time, as they were trying to fill a cavity. No one told me he could have taken a pill to relax him and the dentist walked in, told me to get my kid under control and then she'd come back and attempt to fill the cavity. Also, be prepared to wait for at least an hour, maybe 2! I'm guessing they're overbooking their appointments, hence why you feel like you're rushed in and out. If you want to change dentists, they charge you $25 to push a button on a computer to ELECTRONICALLY send your records and X-rays, no paper involved. My son has seen the dentist a total of 3 times. That means he has 1 set of X-rays and the paperwork about his fillings. $25 is a RIP OFF! If you want a place to take your kids to make them feel at ease and special, go somewhere else!!!! If you want your child's teeth to actually be cleaned, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

I was apprehensive about bringing my kids here due to a couple of bad reviews but my experience was completely different. Every single person I encountered from Tebo was awesome. I am speaking about from the off site scheduler to every single tech, front desk, billing clerk I came across was pleasant and helpful. I can't even explain how thrilled I am am the care that my children received. The actual dentist has a gentle hand and explained the whole process to me and listened to my concerns. I am so pleased with the level of professionalism and kindness that we were shown. The Lilburn location is really spacious and has video games for the kids in the waiting room as well. An experience so painful I can barely even talk about it. It has impacted me and my 8 year old son for the rest of our life, yet there is nothing I can do legally about it. Trust me. I have tried. My kids love coming here. They have a movie room and video games to play in the waiting area. Which honestly my kids don't play on long because they never have you waiting for a long time. They also have a big tebo walking around. The staff is always friendly and their is tons of people working here. The dentist is very thorough in making sure your little ones teeth are perfect. Then when you leave they always give your kids a new toy. Great Dentist for kids and stress free. read more

I am currently trying to get out of my ortho contract. I've only been receiving services since early April and I cannot say nothing positive since starting. They are never available for appointments. They are not accommodating to people who WORK normal business hours. If you are noting going to be open on the weekends you can at least have later appointments during the week day. I am so upset with this place I cannot believe I did not continue to shop around for better ortho services. The quality of my braces are horrible-- One of my brackets broke off the first couple of days and all I ate was soup. I will be looking for another business to spend thousands of dollars on braces with. My daughter also comes here for regular dental exams/cleanings. So I'll just be looking for somewhere else for the both of us. This place is a waste of money and time! Do not expect to be seen at your appointment time and do not expect to feel like you're in expect care. I am not in the dental field but I know when things are not right with my body and my teeth have not been right since I've started. Just move along. read more

I have been using Tebo Dentistry for some time now and I always have a good experience with them, even through their renovation process. Service is always prompt and on time and they are definitely moving like a well oiled machine. My daughter use to be scared going to the dentist but as she got older and has continuously gotten friendly, cheerful dental assistants/nurses she enjoys her time there! Not to mention they allow her to pick out a toy from their toy box at each visit. What kid would not like a toy for going to the dentist! I definitely would recommend them! Also every now and again you can spot Tebo the tooth to make an appearance! read more

At first I was reasonably happy with Tebo for my perio cleanings for a few years. Then they convinced me I needed a root canal and 2 crowns. I agreed to them, and they removed a current crown and did a root canal right next to it and made a crown for it. They gave me a written estimate for my costs and I paid my share (about $1400). When I went back to have the crowns seated, they told me my insurance hadn't paid yet so I had to pay the full bill before they would put the crowns on. Of course, at this point, it would have been impossible to go to another dentist. I told the lady to hold on I was going to call the Georgia Board of Dentistry and my attorney. She went to accounting and they decided to put the crowns on without further payment. My insurance company paid in full a week or so later. This root canal was done last May (it's now November) and the tooth with the root canal is extremely painful. Another dentist has recommended that I have a new root canal done in the same spot and have both crowns replaced due to sub-standard materials being used. Bottom line is I'm having the tooth pulled tomorrow morning after days of suffering. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TEBO DENTAL. read more

This is the comment I have just left on their website: I just had to let you know why I would not be coming back to your practice. My son visited the pediatric office on ****. Among other things, I witnessed a very pleasant male employee being reprimanded by a older woman at a desk by the treatment area (please, do this away from patients in the future,) a woman with poor English being told her appointment was cancelled which obviously caused her distress, and a check out receptionist who had so much trouble with the patient before us that she did not have time to schedule another check up for us despite standing there for almost 10 minutes. There are other negatives I could add, but overall the experience was just very unprofessional in almost every way. In addition, when I received the EOB it appears as if the doctor is not in my network despite me specifically asking when I scheduled the appointment and being reassured that the insurance coordinator would double check and get back to me if there was a problem. The doctor himself, and the hygienist were kind and professional, but it was not enough to make me come back to such a disorganized, tension-filled environment again. I am sorry that I subjected my son to it the first time. read more

Hygienists and receptionists were very polite and professional, had to wait awhile but they apologized and since it was the start of summer vacation, understandably were very busy. Paperwork could have been more streamlined, had to fill out separate papers with the same info for 2 kids. Didn't like the dentists attitude, he kept walking around with his hands in his pockets and didn't take much time to explain anything or ask if you had questions. Also didn't like the robot shooting video games they had in the waiting room, not appropriate for little kids. read more

I was referred I was referred to this dentist by my pediatrician when I first walked in the office I thought it was nice or nicer than any other office he as red towards kids that I had seen before. there were at least 3 gaming stations for the children as well as toys on the floor for the smaller kids and a whole toy box full of that the animals. but personally I think because of all of this going on this makes the kids even more out of control and unruly there was no order in the lobby whatsoever when it came to containing the children. I must say the good thing about this is that the lobby is more than big enough for you to move away from some of the rowdiness if you would like. even though I came in for my appointment about 7 minutes late I was still seeing right away only waiting for about 15 minutes before my name was called.the staff was very friendly and efficient and I waited again only about 15 minutes for the actual dentist to come in. the dentist was pretty friendly and I also listen to him interact with his other patients prior to me and I really liked his attitude towards the patients. this was my 14 month old daughters first time and she was not scared at all when he examined her he was gentle and friendly with her. he was very thorough with me as far as all the information he gave me and even with the exam itself since there was very little they ciuld do for her due to her young age. at the end of the exam he thanked me and gave my child a toothbrush and toothpaste when I was directed to the front office to make a follow up appointment.in all I was only in the office for about an hour and 15 minutes which isn't too bad for me. read more

Beware! Do not take your child here. They will do unnecessary work on your child's mouth. I went in on a Friday with my 3 year old to his first visit to this "kid friendly" dentist. And Dr. Thebaut urged me my son had a serious genetic condition & he could fit me in the following Monday morning to fix him right up. I should have taken notice then because my son had no issues 6 months prior at his old dentist's office or the prior appointment to that. I was a weak, worried mother & signed right up instead of getting a 2nd opinion. On that monday morning they took my lil guy back to medicate him & he returned hours later groggy & completely out of it. The did a "baby root canal & gave him 2 silver crowns. They told me they ran out of time & were unable to do the remaining 3 crowns. I thank the lord that is a s far as they got. Well by the next day he was still groggy & out of it. And a blister appeared on the corner of his mouth early that Tuesday morning. I contacted Tebo dentistry in Lilburn & they said bring him in. They told me he must have bit himself. They did not want to hear my concerns at all. It was clearly not a bite. They gave me the cold shoulder & treated me like they had better things to do.So in tears I drove him straight to his pediatrician. She said that was in no way a bite & asked why he was so spacey. I told her he has went under for the procedure the day before. She said he should not still be acting spacey, it should have worn of yesterday. She also noticed busted blood vessels on his chest that she said look there had been pressure applied. She sent me to the lab immediately for bloodwork to be sure there was no internal bleeding. After a second doctor opinion & 2 other dentists opinions it was concluded the lesion to the corner of his mouth which looked like a big blister was a dental burn. And the 2 dentists determined that after reviewing Dr. Thebaut's x-rays and their X-rays he did not ned any crowns let alone the 5 Tebo Dentistry was going to do & he did not need a baby root canal. Only a few cavities filled. Who knows what kind of pressure they applied to this tiny 3 year old's chest to cause those marks that turned to bruises days later. Thank goodness my son woke from the anesthesia because who knows the amount that was administered. The incompetent dentist that burned him with the drill & put him thru all that work that was not needed! They tortured my son! I have photos & video documenting every word I type as well as multiple Doctor & Dentists opinions from our visits. Please get a second opinion, don't put your child thru what I foolishly put my little guy thru. read more
