I received tickets to the House of Blues from FillASeat for a recent Molly Ringwalds (80s cover band) concert and mentioned that in my review of the House of Blues thinking that I was reinforcing my positive comments in the thread above. Apparently, FillASeat did not agree, as I received the following email from them today: "We have a Major problem with a review you posted on Yelp. The house of blues ( live nation) Has contacted us that they are very upset you broke the rules by listed you got free tickets from us to their event. This breaks the agreement you made when becoming a member. We have deactivated your account till you remove the post. Please remove the post right away. It look us 2 years to get the HOB to let our Dallas members in and now we risk losing them. Also it shows you have an Austin address in the system. Are you a DFW resident as well? Please help us make this right and keep our relationship. Management Team Dallas FillASeat" My response: "I did not realize I had broken the agreement I made when becoming a FillASeat Dallas member. My mistake, do what you feel is right. Your "Major problem" has been corrected, as I have edited out the comment from my Yelp review of the House of Blues (Live Nation) that mentioned I had received free tickets for the event from FillASeat Dallas. As an FYI, the only reason I had put that line in was to reinforce my posts in defense of FillASeat Dallas on the Dallas Yelp Talk threads; there was a thread a while ago in which a number of Yelpers stated that there is no visible value of being a FillASeat member and I had posted in that thread that I had received value in the past from the membership. Apparently, I had valued FillASeat to a greater extent than you value my membership. Feel free to keep my account deactivated and discontinue my membership permanently. I was a member of FillASeat Austin until I moved from Austin to Dallas on January 18, 2013. Apparently, your record keeping is in line with the accusatory tone you take with members. Well done. You are now in a position to make your relationship with HOB right, so congratulations. I'm sure in the scheme of things losing one little Yelper versus keeping your 2 years-in-the-making relationship with a venue that has more to worry about than letting people know that they are one of the reasons to purchase a FillASeat Dallas membership is a great trade-off. Museum of Illusions was such a fun little downtown adventure. Parking was easy and I lucked up with…read morea spot right up front. I walked right in. Purchasing tickets online was simple and let me choose the exact date and time I wanted to visit. Check in was quick with the email confirmation. The museum itself was very clean and I constantly saw employees wiping down and tidying exhibits. Some of the illusions were tricky to figure out at first, but the placards on the walls explained everything really well. The staff was also super helpful and happy to show guests the best angles for photos. Emma was especially amazing at helping frame pictures and making sure we got good shots inside the exhibits. One exhibit featured a spinning tunnel that was tough for me because of equilibrium issues, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to motion effects. This is a quick and entertaining side quest while downtown. It took us about an hour and fifteen minutes to experience everything.Theres no rush and you move at your own pace. I would definitely come back again.

I wish I had gotten his name, because he was an awesome employee. My main gripe, as stated previously, was that the museum was smaller than we thought. It took us 30 minutes to get through all the illusions, and for the price point to enter, just didn't seem worth it in comparison. I'm glad I went, I just probably won't go back for a while. I had my first visit to the Majestic Theatre last weekend for hte Moonchild concert. This is a very…read morenice and historic theater. The seats were surpirisingly more comfortable than I expected, although the legroom was a little tight for my long legs. For reference, I'm 5'9 1/2". The acoustics were excellent! I liked that there were drinks and food options available, and that drinks could be brought into the theater. That's rare. My only complaint, which may not be the fault of the Majestic, was that the lead singer's voice was drowned out by the instruments. To be fair, Amber's (the lead singer) voice is very sweet and soft. The instruments of the band sounded great and were very crisp and clear, which was a testament to the sound system and acoustics in the room, but they overpowered the lead singer. The lighting on the stage was also very good. In the basement of the theater, there are vintage artifacts from the theater, and details about the history of the items and the theater. This is very nice and a great way to preserve and teach the history of the Majestic for generations to come. For parking, there's a nearby outdoor parking lot down the street but the cost is $30 to park. I would definitely return to the Majestic for a concert!

They furnished a credit card and were charged by pay pal. The brought their receipt to the game to pick up their tickets. They were to meet Jay an hour before the game and so were about 15 other people. jay handed out some tickets at 1:30 and then told the remaining 7 people that he did not have their tickets. The father from Oregon was very upset. Jay got in his face and verbally humiliated him in front of the mans kids. Instead of refunding the family with cash, jay refunded the man on pay pal. The father did not have enough cash to by tickets 15 minutes before the game and it was impossible to buy three tickets together. The sons were about 14 and 12. It was an awful example of humanity and miss treating people. If this is any indication of how Metro Tickets treats it's customers, they would be the absolute last company I would ever buy from.

I have a hard time flying with a heart condition anyway but be left in a place such as Chicago and can't get to my destination, it would devastate me and it was only logical to cancel the flight and drive . And know that I will get home safe . But to never be able to get a partial refund on my fight is unacceptable. I had no problem with even a 1/4 of the cost . But give me a credit that I can NOT and will NOT use is horrible customer service. I am not asking for a full refund of my return flight, I am asking for a partial refund. I will never let my family fly with a cheap pathetic airline again .

The grand tier is really high up so I do prefer floors 1-4 ideally but I would not be scared to see a show from level 5. Sight lines are nice throughout. I may have to think about one of the extreme side seats on higher levels. That could restrict sight lines some. The Broadway shows are always great - in my opinion the sound and seating at Winspear really shine versus Fair Park Music Hall. Concerts here are fantastic and I would jump at the chance to see a favorite artist at the Winspear. Easiest parking is the Lexus Red lot but it is a bit pricey and naturally takes a while to empty out post show. Still you can walk around after the show and let the crowds clear out or get a snack at the Flora Cantina next door. There is also dining inside the center up high which looks really great. Amazing views from inside on all levels. What a gorgeous building and we are lucky to have it in our city.
