My sister, niece and I all call this our happy place for a reason. The owner is super friendly, everyone is so nice, the drinks are always amazing and it's a fun but laid back atmosphere. I stumbled upon this jewel by chance. I live a half hour away and go at least once a week but you can probably bet on more often than that. The only thing I regret is not finding this place sooner. Me and my boyfriend are really big milk tea fans, so we have been to almost every single place in the area including philly. Teapioca is by far the best place we have ever been to. The wait is always minimal and I have NEVER been disappointed with what I have ordered. My go to is the Taro milk tea. In other places this flavor can be really hit or miss but they always hit it right on the head. They give alot of boba which is why I do not mind paying the extra 50 cents. We live in Chestnut Hill and there are a few options closer to us but our go to is teapioca, we don't mind the extra drive. Overall, very impressive and I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have ordered. I guess this review has been long overdue since I've been here pretty much twice a week every week since pre-opening - but if the frequency of my visits isn't telling enough, Teapioca is the BEST dessert/drink place in the montgomery county area. As a bubble tea fanatic, it was always a real pain having to drive out to Philly for some quality bubble tea, but with Teapioca here don't believe I'll ever need to make those trips again! Staff is not only courteous and friendly, but they really talk to you and help you throughout the process if you're new to the east asian dessert scene or trying to customize your drink in a certain way. No shortcuts here; good tea takes good time. Free wifi, extensive lounge area, and a few games so you can really lose track of time here. TL:DR - If you got a sweet tooth and are in the mood to try something new, or you have a predisposed condition of bubble tea addiction, definitely try out Teapioca and I promise you won't regret it!!! read more

With that said, my only complaint is the consistency of their brew - to - order Oolong Blast Tea. This is my go to drink at nearly every boba shop, yet I cannot endorsed the one here quite yet. My first time trying their oolong milk tea was nothing short of spectacular. The flavor of the oolong itself was bold and distinct. My second and third time trying this product was disappointing (I even get 50% ice and 50% sugar). The rich flavor of the oolong was nonexistent. Stopped by for a drink in the afternoon and they were quite busy with most seats taken. Friendly service and the workers preparing drinks behind the counter were efficiently getting orders prepared. Ordered a slushee and it was very good but the biggest drawback was that it was very expensive compared to places we've gone to downtown. Also the prices were not clear so different flavors were different prices. So only ordered one drink not two. read more
