This place is lovely! The boba:tea ratio here is the best I've had at any shop. There is no shortage of flavors, add-ins, etc. I especially like that you aren't confined to black tea and there's multiple kinds to pick from. You could go 100 times and still order something different. I've tried two drinks so far- Taro Cream Blast and Strawberry Green Tea, both with boba. And both were delicious! Very refreshing. Will definitely stop by with friends. And with other shops right there, it's a good spot to stop for a drink while you run your errands. My only issue is the menu on the screen in-store is limited in showing what you can order. The physical menu is much more extensive, you just have to go up front to get one. The suburbs have very few options for decent boba. Most of the options in the area are either pre-made or powder junk. I like Teapioca because it's fresh brewed. Pricing is actually comparable to places like Tea Do or Kung Fu Tea in Philly Chinatown, considering all drinks here are 22oz, aka the "large" size at those places. Quality and flavor wise, everything I tried here has been decent. I tried the taro, thai, lychee smoothie, passion fruit green tea - all good. The space is clean and bright, with a few small tables as well as couches. One downside is the menu is a little confusing compared to other bubble tea spots. It definitely takes a little deciphering if you're trying to get a familiar drink. However, the menu is pretty extensive with lots of options and toppings. This is probably one of the best bubble tea spots in the suburbs if you don't want to make the trek to Philly. read more

Got the Thai BlasTea and tastes exactly as a Thai tea should - has a more noticeable tea taste than other places but not a bad thing. Also got the Vietnamese Coffee (ca phe sua da) in the bold option. Never had options before! Very dark coffee taste but my partner enjoys it. Got both 22 oz sizes and added boba. The Thai tea didn't come with boba but adding it is only 25 cents more so no biggie. Boba also has a nice chewy texture, not hard or overly soft. Would def come back! read more

Ridiculous how I had to wait this long for only 2 drinks. Service was slow and they were only servicing the customers who ordered in person first. Ughhh, I've been craving taro boba tea for a little bit now. I think I'm actually obsessed! I'm so glad I found this place, it's only a little bit down the road from where I go to school, so after my last class, I can come here and study while sipping away on some boba tea! I've only been here twice, the first time I spoke with a very nice lady who told me how they made the tapioca pearls. So interesting! I compare this to Tea-Do, which is in Philly (my all time favorite boba tea spot). I find the boba is just about spot on (with that delicious nutty flavor), but the first taro drink I had was a little too milky... but still a great drink! The second time I came in with my boyfriend. I ordered the same thing (taro boba tea) and he ordered a mixed drink with popping bubbles... this time, the taro flavor was a bit stronger (which I love!!) and my boyfriend's drink was VERY flavorful! He said that he would even dare to say that it was just as great as our beloved Tea-Do!! *gasp* I also love that they have this little spot to play games in the table... my boyfriend and I got carried away and ended up staying over an hour just playing games! The only downside is the price. It was about $11 for two drinks... so that only means I'll be putting a cap of how many times I come here a month, but if I could, I would come here several times a week. My tea was just enough bitter and just enough sweet and just enough boba to fill every sip! The lychee drink was such a good flavor. It tasted like fresh lychee not just sugary syrup. The atmosphere inside is really cool. There's a lot of chairs and couches and tables to hang out and chat with a friend or get a little work done. I've been to a lot of boba places in my life, and this is definitely not as amazing as everyone is making it out to be. I come from Chicago, so my expectations are a little higher than the suburban population of Pennsylvania. They didn't put much boba in my drink, the Thai tea I got was average, and the boba itself wasn't very good. There cashier was nice, and the ambiance is great. Overall a good experience, but the boba is disappointing. Quick note on the picture: although I did drink my tea, I honestly didn't get that much boba, the picture is a pretty good depiction of how much bubbles I got in my drink overall. I'd say to add 8 more balls to the mix. read more

Teapicoa is definitely one of my go-to bubble tea places. I've been here multiple times since it opened. Favorites so far are taro slush, oolong tea, and peach white tea. I didn't really have much expectations for a bubble tea shop in a strip mall, but I am extremely impressed. We came on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was packed. The line moves quickly and the drinks come out fast. We had the Thai Ice Tea and the Taro bubble tea drinks and they are both delicious. I like that the decor is bright, open, and an overall fun vibe. The couches are popular and filled, but there are a number of smaller tables and seats around. My family have been coming to this place since they opened like 4 years ago - I raved about teapioca and even though a few other new bubble tea places opened recently, I stayed loyal. However i was truly disappointed today with the quality of their bubble tea. I'm stripping away my previous 5 stars review. Zero star for bubble teas - purchased both taro (which used to be fav , it was very flavorful and rich) and honeydew and they tasted watered down. Even the consistency seems to have changed. Really sad about it- i talked to the servers and they said they haven't changed the way they make the bubble teas and questioned when I came in last. They were nice (which is why i'm keeping the one star here) but didn't do anything about it. I don't know if the owner changed or recipe changed.. i really don't know but I hope the owner sees this review and consider assessing how they make it now. I really don't think i'll be going back , Im embarrassed that I took my crew there and regret spending like $30 on water. read more
