They hold corporate races as well as team challenges and team endurance races, and if that's not enough they also hold arrive and drive events at a very reasonable price. The karts are very well maintained to make sure that all racing is fair and fast. One really good thing about Red lodge is you don't need any specialist equipment to race; they supply everything you will need to race including helmet, race overalls and gloves if you so wish. This definitely a good day out for the big kid in you.

There are plenty of rides for all ages and although the place has a shabby charm to it you can spend several hours of family fun there. Prices are about the level you would expect although they have an antiquated ticket system which harks back to the 70's. In conclusion this is about as good as it gets in Kettering. Anything better and the locals would just ruin it!

Excellent and well-maintained Karts. The Karts appeared to have equal performance (a major bug-bear when one Kart is inherently better than another!) 2. The Track Marshalls are excellent. Really friendly, provided a fantastic safety briefing as well as a run-down of how the Team Enduro would work. They also cleared track incidents swiftly meaning that people weren't stuck on red flags for too long. 3. The facilities are all clean. 4. On-site catering is good for a track. We were served a chilli con carne and a chicken curry. The chilli was good but not enough rice was cooked for 40+ people (who had booked and placed food orders in advance). You'll notice that I haven't mentioned the track at all.... this is because this is Mr Karting's biggest let-down. The track is tiny and simply not that fun to drive. Any track that you can drive around in sub-20 second laps isn't big enough in my opinion. So whilst the facilities et al. are brilliant, it is let down but not having enough space for a good track.

I did think it was weird that we had to race with strangers, even though they never warned us about it. Staff was 50/50, depending on who and if they're having a bad day or not.. Course was fun for a few rounds.. Go karts were way too stiff.. Medium pricing.. Bizarre location..
