Judy F. Mountain View. I have been using Teamworks to clean my house for about 3 years now. I have a caring, smart, accommodating and skilled team. I also have a manager who strikes me as an excellent business woman with great customer recall and response to my needs or requests. They are all lovely to work with. I can't really speak objectively to value because I haven't shopped around, but I find it a great value! read more

I'm sorry to say that I have since fired TeamWorks after a few years of service. They've tried to raise prices on me three times this year, because I have a new roommate although I've had a roommate for the past few years. Their prices are already quite high compared to other quotes I received now. I've also noticed that a beautiful pair of gold earrings are mysteriously missing from where I normally place them and they also broke a marble mortar pestle that I found with the handle cracked in half and shoved behind other items so I couldn't find it! Although they claim they have insurance to deal with such issues, they denied any sort of responsibility and refused to reimburse me!!! read more

I am highly disappoint and feel cheated by their false promises. Cendy came to our home to assess it. I told her I just got the initial cleaning done and she keep insisting on that their initial clean which is 1.5 times their cost of regular clean very important. I agreed to it as she arranged the initial clean to happen just a few days after the assessment. After which I would be added to her regular cleaning schedule. My Initial cleaning was on June 30th and now our next cleaning is scheduled on 7/30!! I mean that's almost 5 weeks later. What happened to cleaning every 2 weeks! You will see it in the other reviews as well they keep insisting on deep clean or initial clean but honestly speaking it's not worth the price you pay them. And also just forget about expressing your concerns or unhappiness. They will not acknowledge or even try to say we will do a better job next time. If I were you I would look elsewhere. As it is they don't have any space for new clients. At least you won't be ripped for the initial cleaning. read more

I can't say enough good things about TeamWorks. They take care of my mom's home and do an excellent job. They're super responsive, and can be flexible with what she needs. read more

I have been having Teamworks come to clean my house in Mountain View for about 8 months now. I have Jackie and Olivia come every other week and they have done an outstanding job every single time. They are very attentive to detail and if there is anything you would like them to do or spend extra time on all you have to do is ask. I have 2 kids, so my place can get very messy, but I always walk in very happy. Place is clean, beds are made, dishes put away. Thank you Jackie and Olivia you guys are awesome! read more

I've had a few new people rotate through my cleaning team #2 since my last update, and they are always fabulous! Nancy and Lucy are currently my bi-weekly team members-- they work quickly and efficiently every time, and are as unobtrusive as possible as they work around us (my husband and I both work from home). Still very happy, indeed! :-) read more

The TeamWorks house cleaning cooperative is great. I like that I don't have the administrative concerns that I would have hiring an individual directly, but that, unlike a traditional cleaning company, the profit goes to the workers. It feels a bit like magic when my husband and I come home after a TeamWorks visit--they get our home cleaner than we would be able get it, even if we devoted a large portion of our weekend to cleaning. They're also good at special projects--they did a great job cleaning and organizing our coat closet. read more

This is my last week in the bay area and for 7 years Teamworks has been beyond wonderful to me. We were together thru two moves, me adding a dog to the family and all sorts of special events. They have always been on time, cleaned my house extremely well and I have not had a single issue - EVER. I just can't say enough about them. I have extreme allergies and they use nontoxic cleaners which help[s me and well its good for the dog too right? I see some reviews discuss pricing. Yes initially they are a bit more than one of those cookie cutter companies out there but they do more every visit than those companies do. Hello cleaning blinds, cleaning baseboards, cleaning window seals. I encourage you to hire this company and one of their fabulous teams, you will not regret it. read more

I have been very impressed with the work that Flor and Yelba have done with cleaning my home. They are very thorough, pleasant, and efficient, use non-toxic cleaners, and, because TeamWorks is a worker-owned and operated coop, they have a financial investment in their work. Feel free to write to me if you would like more information about them or about TeamWorks. Steve read more

We've been using Teamworks for 2 years, first at an apartment and then at a house for the last year or so. We've been thoroughly satisfied with their service and professionalism. Quite a few things set them apart from any most other cleaning services: * They communicate quickly and easily via email, which is great if you are very busy and don't always have time to take phone calls * They exclusively use environmentally-friendly products * They are an employee-owned co-op, so the proceeds go to the employees themselves rather that to a middleman * They regularly solicit feedback to make sure everything is going well with their service They are a socially responsible organization, giving their employees wages they can actually live on, as well as providing educational opportunities, health insurance, and other benefits. It's a great way to get a clean house and also help people in your own community get a leg up. When we were first with Teamworks, the founder was our contact and now our contact was someone promoted from within their organization, who is now in charge of the local co-op, while other co-ops are being formed in other areas. Rather than going cheap on everything you buy and then give money to charity (where 80% of what you give goes to pay administrators), seek out great local businesses and socially responsible organizations like Teamworks that treat their employees well and want them to succeed and prosper. read more

We've been happy Teamworks customers for more than two years. Not only do they do a great job, but this is the kind of business that you want to support. Here's what you need to know about this business: 1. They do a great job. I can't believe how much of a mess we make in just a couple of weeks, but these women have us sparkling clean again every week. They get down to lots of nitty gritty -- things like the burners on the stove, the inside of the microwave -- that other house cleaners miss. 2. It's green. I can't stand toxic household cleaners. I hate the smell of them and I don't like breathing in goodness-knows-what. Teamworks is the real deal, with all-green, all-natural cleaning products made of vinegar and other safe substances. Now I can come home to a clean house without the stink. 3. It's employee-owned, so you don't feel like you're exploiting people. And the women aren't stuck as house cleaners forever. They have opportunities to move up and improve their lives. 4. Each team includes at least one member who speaks English, which makes communication a whole lot easier. Also, the woman in charge is always on hand to help out with communication if needed. I haven't had that experience with other companies. read more

We were Teamworks customers for more than five years. I was always happy with the team who came to clean - they were always friendly and professional and did a thorough job. However, I ended up getting so frustrated with the "customer service" that I finally quit. First of all, it was difficult to get in contact with them by phone. When I called, I would often get some sort of weird noise (possibly a fax machine but it didn't sound like it), but if I was lucky, I could leave a voice mail. One time, I needed to change the credit card on file. I ended up having to give them the same number three times, because the first time they lost it before putting it into the system, and the second time the system didn't save the number. And naturally I had to call so we played the usual phone tag game each time. The final straw was when I contacted them to see if I could switch our cleaning day. I asked them if they had availability the following week, and they said they didn't have availability for a few weeks at best. They then texted me to ask if I still wanted to keep my normal time (which I did). As I was at work, I replied two hours later saying I did want to keep the time, and they replied sorry, we gave your time away already. I had always been flexible when they needed to change our normal cleaning day for any reason and I very rarely asked for changes. It became very clear to me that despite being a long time customer, my business was not wanted. It's a shame that what otherwise seems like a good business is marred by this lack of organization and professionalism. read more

I am so happy to have found Teamworks! After being increasingly frustrated with our previous cleaners, and several unsuccessful tryouts of others, I'd been doing the weekly big clean of our house, wondering why there wasn't a company out there who would understand one-size-fits-all is as bad an idea in housecleaning as it is in clothing. With two kids and lots of activities, we were keeping up with the basic cleaning, but it seemed like I was never getting to the some of the deeper stuff (or more honestly, only getting to it when it just became too grubby to ignore anymore), things like baseboards, wiping down the plantation blinds, scrubbing fingerprints off the walls. My house looked clean enough, until you looked closely. Ugh! I needed help! BUT I didn't want just any old housecleaning company. I wanted someone who would do the thorough job I wasn't , not just repeat the cleaning I was doing daily, someone who would pay attention to the things that bugged *me*. Considering my past experiences, I went into my search in a pretty negative frame of mind. When I read through Teamworks site it seemed like they were a company that would tailor the cleaning time to what was most important to the client. I called, they sent Bianca and Vicki, and I began to believe in miracles... They totally clean UNDER things! They MOVE furniture to clean everywhere! They take the cushions OFF the couch and vacuum in the cracks! They collect the tiny lego pieces hiding on our patterned carpet, they make my daughter's wild collection of makeup and bath products look organized and pretty. The house is beautiful when they are done, I open the door after Bianca and Vicki have been there and my day is automatically better. I gave them my personal list of the things that drove me crazy, just ONE time, and they handled them EVERY time since. I notice CLEAN things now, stuff I probably never would have thought to get around to cleaning, All week long I am reminded of how lucky I was to find Teamworks and how happy they make our family. I have been an extremely satisfied customer for over two years now, and would recommend this company to anyone without reservation. Thank you Bianca and Vicki! And thank you Teamworks! You guys are truly amazing. read more

We have had TeamWorks clean our house for a few years. Alejandra and Nancy do a wonderful job. I like that they use green products and that they are a cooperative of owner-operatives. I'm happy that they are getting the money for their work versus one owner taking most of the money. Being a mom, I don't have time to do in depth cleaning and they do a very thorough job! We previously had Maria and Lucy and they did a wonderful job too. read more

We have been using TeamWorks for over a year and have been extremely pleased with their services. They do a thorough job on our apartment, don't mind that our dog sits and watched :) , and even more important this is a company that we truly respect. I was trying to get cleaning services for my town home after I moved out in order to leave it clean for the landlords. As they were literally down the street from my townhome, I contacted TeamWorks for their services. Three phone calls, two voice mails - no one bothered to return my call, even to say that they were unavailable to help. Very poor customer service. read more

Maria and Lucy are amazing! We've been using Teamworks for housecleaning for over a year now and I love them. They come every other week and it's just wonderful to come home to a clean house. They use non-toxic products, which is great. And I am always amazed an how clean our stove is. Last time they even swept out our garage. My husband was astounded. They really do go above and beyond. Fresh sheets on the beds, crown molding dusted, bathrooms gleaming. They are really the best. read more

Through the years I have been using several cleaning companies and, at last, I am pretty happy with TeamWorks, that has been cleaning my home for nearly one year and a half once a month. Bianca and Vicky work well together. After they leave my home is spotless, my cooking range is shining, my husband's innumerable knickknacks are dusted and even the shades are dusted. I had to change my monthly appointment a few times and they always found me a convenient alternate time. My emails have always been answered in a timely manner. What I also like about this service is that it is a coop and the cleaners are not as exploited as in the other cleaning services. I am happy with this service and thanking Bianca and Bicky. Very happy with teamworks. Bianca and Vicky always do an excellent job, and we'd highly recommend the company!

We've been using TeamWorks to clean our home for a couple years now. We love their promptness, friendliness, attention to detail, and the opportunities that they give their employees. Alejandra and Nancy in particular are excellent to work with. I highly recommend using their cleaning services over other anonymous services. read more

We've been using TeamWorks for close to a year and I continue to be impressed with their work. Team Olivia and Jacky have been doing an excellent job and they are always prompt and friendly. I agree with things others have said -- Teamworks is reliable, and ethical, and it's really nice to have a management team who sends and responds to email. The cleaning team does a careful and good job, and (unlike other services we've used in the past), they don't make mistakes like unplugging modems or putting things away in the wrong place. And for me, at least, it is important to know that these employees have health insurance and are part-owners. It really helps to realize we might actually be helping their lives, instead of just taking advantage of those less fortunate than ourselves. read more

Firstly - the manager/receptionist who answers calls, Sandy, has been very courteous and polite. She tried hard to accommodate my schedule on a last minute notice and was very friendly. She answered all my questions. The cleaning crew, Olivia and Alejandra, came to my house on time and slightly early. They took more time than I expected but they also cleaned way better than I expected. They polished every piece of everything in the spaces they cleaned. My house was not even that clean when I moved in! They cleaned things that I could not get clean. I think this is the best money I have spent on my house. My only regret is that I forgot to tip them. Definitely hoping to get them back. It was my first time having my house professionally cleaned while I'm living in it. I am so grateful. read more

I have used teamworks for cleaning my house twice a week for a couple of months now and am very pleased with their services. I like how they pay attention to detail, follow up if anything is unclear and how sweet the ladies that visit are. The company sends the same team leader every time and she is super helpful and thorough. It's also nice to know that all the employees are insured if something should happen to them in your house. If you ever have a feeling that your house needs a bit of deep clean, test them out and see what you think, I'm very glad that I did :-) read more

Teamworks has done a great job with our house! It's easy to communicate what we need via email, and the house is always sparkling after our team comes. TeamWorks is a wonderful co-op. I have been so delighted with the work that Elizabeth and Alejandro do for me. They clean thoroughly the whole house and it just shines when they are through. We have been using Teamworks for over 2 years now. Elizabeth and Paola come every two weeks and the house just shines when they are finished. We have hardwood floors throughout our house and they use the Bona products that were recommended by the folks that installed the floors. They are extremely reliable and very accommodating if I need to change my appointment for any reason. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for cleaners. They are pleasant and punctual and do a fantastic job! read more

We have been using team works for almost 3 years now and we are so happy with them. They charge reasonable rates (we have them come every 2 weeks) and they have never missed a day. I like that it is a coop and not just a single person so if one person gets sick they have a backup come in. Though I should note we have the same people come clean all the time so they are familiar with what our particular needs are. Bianca and Alejandra are very professional and friendly and the do a great job cleaning the house - I always look forward to the days they come and the house is clean and organized. Also, the peace of mind to not every have to worry about the deep house cleaning - what a wonderful thing to this working mother. One less thing on my mind. read more

Adriana and Ruby have been doing the cleaning for the townhouse I live in for several months. They did a very thorough cleaning the first time, and continue to do a marvelous job. They are attentive to detail, very efficient, and SO NICE! They take great care with everything, putting things back exactly as found, not using harsh chemicals that hurt my lungs, and leaving the place spotless. They also are very careful not to scare the cat, which makes me even more thankful for them! So glad we found them! read more

We've used TeamWorks Coop for a year now, and they've done an excellent job. One of the benefits of using a service is that when someone is unavailable or leaves, they find the replacement. You don't have to. It's also reassuring to know the staff are getting benefits. Marissa and Erandi have been our team for some time now and do great work. They are thorough, responsive to particular requests, pleasant to deal with, and clearly want to do a good job. They're even careful around our cat :) When we needed to reschedule one session, they re-arranged their other clients to fit us in. My only complaint is that the service is rather expensive, particularly when you gauge the service by person-hours. read more

TeamWorks is awesome! They are employee owned so I am glad to support them. The ladies who clean my apartment are thorough, quick, and very professional. I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

We started with TeamWorks after parting ways with our housecleaner of 15 years. We have been using them for over two years. They were great at first -- insisting on a 'deep clean' when we started, even though my previous cleaners were really good (we moved on due to disagreement over staff). Since then, the service from the team has degraded, so that things that were once clean, were now filthy (inside of kitchen cabinet doors, window sills, curtain rod finials, etc.). Not just a little dusty -- filthy (I'd post the pictures here if I could). Requests to mop (instead of wiping with a rag) the floors, pay more attention to corners, not 'hide' our stuff but leave it where it was, etc, fell on deaf ears. Times also changed without real notice - they originally were scheduled in the morning to arrive at 10, which was great as they were gone when we got home. That time slipped, and slipped, until they were coming as late as 4 on occasion. I gave up asking for more, and lived with it -- our house is older and not remodeled, we are a family with two young adults, one teenager, and my husband and I -- the house sees a lot of use in two weeks, and even surface cleaning was better than nothing. I work 50+ hours a week, and just don't have the time to keep up myself. Then -- I received an email from the manager stating that they could no longer work for us as the cleaners had found used tampons and condoms on the floors and could not be responsible for picking up these things. After my heart started beating and I started breathing again, I asked my kids if there was ANY way that these things had in fact possibly occurred, even as a joke, or if the garbage can had gotten knocked over, or??? They were as stunned as I was -- no one in our household uses condoms, and the only person who uses personal hygiene products is my daughter -- who simply would not do this. The only thing I can think of is that they came up with SUCH a horrific story to keep my from writing a Yelp review. That I would never be able to say these things out loud. I suspect that they did not want to clean an older home, or that they needed more time to do a decent job and did not know how to ask for more hours, or were upset by the fact that my son is gay and that his partner has a medical marijuana card, or...? I don't know. All I know is that they did only an okay job, and that they way this ended was crazy. I'll clean my own house for the next few months to get it clean again, then try to find someone who knows how to run a business in the Bay Area. read more

I've had various cleaning services over the years, and this one is excellent. One huge plus: you can communicate with management via e-mail, so no leaving messages on cell phones and then waiting forever for a call-back. I Would Definitely Highly Recommend TeamWorks Cleaning ! Have had them for about one year. For the past few months I have had Nancy and Alejandra and I Love them ! I would rather pay a little more and feel confident that they will do a Great Job Every Time ! read more

I can be really picky about cleaning services, since I'm an excellent cleaner and home-keeper myself, I just don't have the time to keep it up with my job. I have always had a problem paying someone to do a job that's worse than I can do myself, or having to constantly nag and remind "can you please clean this, or do this a little more thoroughly." After trying several cleaning companies, I found Bianca and her crew through TeamWorks and she never fails to disappoint. Reliable (huge for someone with a busy schedule!), friendly, fast and thorough. She regularly does things I didn't even expect them to clean up or straighten (for example, the inside of my closet floor where my shoes are, pulling clean sheets out of the dryer so she can make the bed, taking out the recycling, moving the couch fully out of place to get underneath it, etc. It feels like every cleaning service comes with at least one area of the house "deep cleaned" or having gotten a little extra love, so my house is always being kept in a "spring cleaning" state. Bianca is also so sweet, and even asks how my dog is doing if he's out of the house when she comes, knows to do my home office first so I can get back to work, and is thoughtful - when she saw my maternity books, even wished me congratulations :) Even in the office, I get great help - they let me know of any schedule changes way in advance, the autopay credit card feature is hugely convenient, and I always get through if I need to reach someone. I highly recommend them! read more
