First day workout on 3.2 and went to do a weigh in get my picture taken and go over my meal plan. Your plan is designed just for you based on your weight and body fat. I did the kick boxing class and it was amazing. I recommend doing this class. All the workers and trainers are very friendly and there to help you. They have different classes for different things and they also have a sauna that both parties can use.

I've never been into high intensity, contact-like sports, including boxing or kickboxing, but under (gentle) pressure from my wife, we both joined the 6-week challenge at the Sandy Springs location. The inside of the gym is very spacious, though it may be difficult to find the location while driving by on Roswell Road. The entrance is down a steep path of stairs, where you are greeted by a giant mural of an octopus. The employees were always very, very kind and helpful with us and they instructed us on the do's and don'ts of the gym and of the classes. The 6-week challenge promises to help members lose either 6% of their body fat or 25 pounds within that time frame. They offer nutritional guidance and a coach who calls regularly to ensure you show up to the gym at a minimum of 3 times a week. While I definitely enjoyed myself and the classes, unfortunately due to an injury we could no longer attend. Team Octopus worked with us through-and-through ensuring that we were satisfied and that we received a partial refund due to the circumstance. Nothing but rave reviews on a business that stands by their word and works with their members, especially considering gyms are notorious for not. Thank you for showing me this amazing sport and for being understanding!

wow I am truly shocked at the level of unprofessional and unethical business behavior this gym turned out to have. I had a membership paid through my job and I attended for a while. I called to cancel in december of 2021 to the actual Gym and was sent on a roller coaster ride for how to cancel membership. I paid January membership and again called to make sure my membership would be cancelled, I sent an email request as they wanted but they insisted I pay the fee to put my membership on hold instead of cancel it. I was travelling abroad and there was no need for the membership anymore because i wasnt sure how long i would be gone for and away from the gym when i returned. i have received a bill for $644.00 im assuming from february to current. what a joke. I will let any employee i work with who attends this gym know and i hope they find membership elsewhere because this is just theft at this point.

I love iLoveKickboxing. Say what you want about the cheesy name, ILKB is one of the best workouts…read moreI've ever found. I've been part of ILKB gyms in both New York and Houston, so when I first moved here, I lamely tried out a few gyms before deciding it might be worth it to drive half an hour to Sandy Springs. The workouts here are NOT. NOT. NOT. easy. In fact, it's rare that I ever leave a class here without being drenched in sweat. But I've also never seen a gym that allows me to have such a good time while doing it. Classes are organized into three main parts - a fifteen-minute warm up, bag rounds, and then finishing exercises at the end. The starting warm up is much like a HIIT session (high-intensity interval training), with exercises that get your body warmed up and your heart pumping. The bag rounds are my favorite part, with tons of kicking and punching that release tons of energy and aggression while toning all associated limbs. I especially appreciate that the bags here are softer than the hanging bags you'll find in most boxing or kickboxing gyms. The slight squash to the standing bags are helpful for absorbing some of the blows so that I don't leave with bruises like I would at other boxing gyms. The coaches here are amazing. I've met several of them in my first week here, and they're all full of energy and friendly to boot. They're good about circling around during bag rounds to help with tips, form, or just plain old encouragement. Of all the iLKB gyms I've joined, this one has the most accommodating schedule. They're open seven days a week, with generous class times sprinkled throughout the day, so that there's likely a time for everyone. It's important to note that much of the poor reviews for ILKB centers around franchise-related structures. Like any other gym, they will have promotions that get you into the door, and they'll have a sit-down with you to go over membership options. I took my first classes through such a promotion, and found that the trainers here were more than willing to hear out my circumstances and find me a class package that fits my needs.

Yo what the heck! I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews on here!…read more From a huge gym hater, I have definitely been converted again. I started using ClassPass a couple of months ago after being convinced by a friend -- she knew I needed motivation and pushed me to try it out. I have two more months to go on ClassPass (they do have a monthly membership but I signed up for 3 months on a special deal). I didn't REALLY get motivated until I tried out FTF Join The Circuit class taught by Stephanie! I'm so mad that I didn't discover this place before! I plan on actually joining the club! This is something I can see myself doing long-term and staying consistent with. I don't even mind the drive -- I live in Lilburn. I love the high intensity/circuit workouts. I push myself to get better each class and the instructors including Stephanie are so welcoming each time and really make you feel comfortable. My goal is to get better at kicking the bag without potentially breaking my leg, foot, or ankle and being able to conquer the workouts without stopping to take breaks (unless it's a break between the circuits). Definitely check this place out! They offer a couple of free classes to try. You won't regret it!

As someone who was previously a very happy unlimited member at Pepper Boxing's Battery location, I…read morehave never had such an egregious interaction with this brand. I recently decided to rejoin after moving back to Atlanta. After taking a class through ClassPass, I spoke with an employee (Chase) about enrolling in a 6-class monthly membership. I was clearly told everything was tentative, that I was not locked into anything, and that since I hadn't signed a contract, I wasn't tied to an agreement. I was told the card was simply to "hold my spot." Shortly before the membership was set to begin, I experienced an unexpected family loss. During that time, I was understandably not in the mental space for boxing classes and completely forgot about the membership until I saw the charge come through. I called immediately, explained the situation, and was told Chase would follow up with me. He never did. No one did. After not hearing anything for two weeks, I ultimately filed a dispute with my bank. I was then charged again the following month. For clarity, I never signed a contract, used the "membership," or attended a single class under it. Today I received a voicemail from "Tony" regarding my Midtown membership and returned the call. The conversation was shockingly unprofessional. He was dismissive, repeatedly stated he "could not" issue a refund, and made zero effort to acknowledge anything I explained. Only after I firmly pointed out that I had never signed any agreement did he "look into it" and suddenly determine that a refund was possible. I was also casually informed that the Midtown location had abruptly closed the day before and that Chase was "no longer with the brand." What was most concerning was not just the billing issue, but the tone and conduct. When I asked for his full name, he refused to provide it. At the end of the conversation, I asked again. He oddly stated "Zach," then dismissively said he had to call "all the other Midtown members" and could not continue the conversation. Ironically, his full name, Tony C******, appeared on the refund receipt. Combined with the billing issues, abrupt closure, and communication breakdown, this does not inspire confidence in how the business is being managed. I understand Tony maybe experiencing a stressful situation currently with the unexpected closure of Midtown. However, that does not justify speaking to customers in a dismissive or unprofessional manner. Treating people with basic kindness, empathy, and integrity goes a long way. The workouts are good. The operational integrity and customer care are not. Proceed with caution.

However, unbeknownst to any members, Pepper Boxing Midtown closed March 1st. They did not inform or warn any members. When I called to cancel my membership since I cannot go to the other locations, they told me I was still responsible for paying for the next two months because I had to provide 30 days notice. This seems absurd since they did not even warn us the location was closing. While I love the workout at pepper boxing, the management is an absolute scam. Good luck to those at Perimeter and Buckhead. If they choose to close as well, they will expect you to pay.
