This is coming from my 7 year old son Bridger when I asked him to describe his karate studio. Bridger has been taking karate since he was 4 at Bobby Lawrence Team Justus. The first time Bridger had a meeting/one on one with Justus I was blown away with how well he worked with my son. I was just looking for a activity/sport for my son to get into, something he could call his own. I never thought of all the discipline, hard work ethics and respect my son would be learning. We have been there 3 years it has been amazing experience and I love seeing how much my son is growing and learning. About a year ago Bridger has started saying yes mom/yes mama at home. His respect and the way he acts at home is incredible and I know I owe it to him taking karate and learning at Team Justus. Does this mean Bridger is perfect and respectful all of the time no but I am so impressed and I know if it wasn't for him being enrolled with Team Justus and being committed for so many years and having teachers who are extremely committed to my son he would not be learning these amazing skills in life. What Bridger has been learning at the karate studio has now rubbed off on his little sister and she has picked up on his respect (yes mom/yes mama) and she is using it at home and begin extremely respectful and disciplined. Back December she asked to be enrolled in karate. I was very back and forth on this because she has a pretty busy dance schedule and I did not want it affecting her dance and school. Well we tried it out for a month. I saw how much more disciplined for dance she was becoming, more respectful and how much she really loved it! So she is now enrolled. I am very proud of my kids and I absolutely recommend Bobby Lawrence Karate Team Justus. Justus, Chantelle and their hole team are amazing people. They truly care about each of the students. Bobby Lawrence Karate is one of the best things that ever happened to me. At this school I learned self discipline, focus, how to protect myself and how to control my anger and my confidence has grown so much it's incredible. I love karate so much because it is so fun and the teachers are great! When I am struggling they will come over and help me improve. Karate has also helped me by becoming physically more fit, I play soccer as well and the workouts we do at karate have helped me in soccer by being able to run further and faster and by being more coordinated. At karate there are SO MANY great people, the front desk worker is the nicest lady ever all the teachers are so amazing and all of my classmates are so fun, we have so much fun in class whether it's from playing a quick round of dodgeball to picking each other up off the ground while sparing. Another thing I love about karate is how they have taught me to have the mindset of I CAN!! Now whenever something is hard and I feel like quitting I don't, I keep having a positive attitude and pursue forward, that has helped me so much in school and by doing better in life. Best studio around. My son started karate at a different studio near by and hated it! They were so mean to him and treated him with no respect whatsoever. It got to the point where he never wanted to go and would fake sick to get out of it. They were constantly yelling at him to stop moving and even asked me if I ever considered putting him on ADHD meds. (He was 5!) We switch to Bobby Lawrence in Lindon and it was the best decision we ever made!!! Not only did they treat him great but he has excelled in everything. He is excited to go and has made a lot of friends. They promised me he would learn discipline, respect, focus and much more and they have by far exceeded my expectations. And besides all that he is taught by one of the best- Justus Lawrence!! We recommend this karate studio to everyone and couldn't be happier with them. read more

I want to give a shoutout to the good folks at Bobby Lawrence Karate. The entire Team Justice takes time to make sure each kid feels special. Not only are they developing their physical skills, but they learn how to deal with bullies at a young age so they can work well with others the rest of their lives. They ask them to obey their parents and be helpful around the house. They ask them to not use their skills in a violent manner, but instead respect these skills and others. If you have a child who needs some assistance in these categories (I think everyone does) I would highly recommend Team Justus - Bobby Lawrence Karate LINDON! This location is under new management and the differences/ improvements are readily noted. Bobby is an exceptional teacher/master and his life lessons extend well beyond self defense and karate. You can rest assured your children will be cared for and receive unparalleled instruction. Your kids will eagerly attend lessons and training because of the environment Bobby creates. We love the Lawrence family and have really enjoyed the karate experience for our son. He has thrived from it, and really stepped up to being a leader as well. I really like the leadership training and the confidence I can see in my son as he learns new things. I appreciate the skills and patience he has learned at Bobby Lawrence so he can teach the younger kids. My four year old has loved taking classes at Bobby Lawrence Karate. All of the teachers have been so wonderful and encouraging. I love the values they teach, especially respect for parents ;). The studio is top notch and always impeccably clean. I've also really appreciated how accommodating they've been during all the covid-19 confusion. My son has been taking karate here for a about 6 months and he LOVES it. He finally found his thing after trying all sports and what not. The staff is so kind and friendly. My son is usually shy but he just loves all the instructors here and is excited to tell then all about his day and they are so patient.
