I received a flyer in the mail and decided to give them a try. I called and Silvia came in to do an…read moreestimate of 2.5 hours each floor for $210. I had a coupon for $35 off. I made an appointment for the day before my Wedding Reception (which was being held in the backyard) Two employees showed up on time at 11 am to get started. I was taking care of other preparations outside but kept checking in on them. A few times, they were standing around on their cell phones and not cleaning. Neither spoke English and could not even understand when I asked if everything was ok. After 4 hours on the one floor, a man in a uniform drove up and said he was here to talk to the ladies. I followed him upstairs to discover that one of the maids had leaned into my kitchen sink to wash the window and the sink separated from the counter top. This also knocked a pipe loose which spilled water everywhere! He said there was no extra charge for the extra time spent and he would come back later to fix it since he didn't have tools. I told him I would be out but to call me so I would know when he was coming. I then noticed the ladies had moved a print I had purchased in Williamsburg that was waiting for a frame off a chair and threw boxes on top of it, wrinkling and folding it. Ruined! Edwin said it looked like a piece of paper and so how were they to know not to wrinkle it?! The maids finally moved downstairs to clean and left within an hour. After they left, I noticed one of my windows would no longer open (it had been open when they were there and they couldn't close it properly) and there were cobwebs in ALL the ceiling corners and the two ceiling fans weren't even cleaned! They were at my house for almost 6 hours and barely did 3 hours of work. Then Edwin called me around 7 to say he was at my door (and I was NOT home, as I told him) to fix the sink but he didn't have any tools (really?) my husband provided the tools and after an hour, the sink was in place but now there's no seal. He then called me AGAIN at 1030 pm to tell me I never paid them. They never gave me an invoice or requested payment. I told him to email me the invoice. I will never use this company again. What a horrible experience.

The owner was really good about sending another crew out to finish it up on Christmas Eve though. Today was supposed to the start of our monthly cleanings and they never showed up. Looks like we'll be looking for a new service.

So unlike a lot of companies that delegate their work down to employees who don't have a vested interest in the company, you get the business owner who really cares about the customer. I have to admit, we haven't gotten our carpets cleaned in a long time, but my friend recommended Kevin to us. Kevin was super responsive to email (even in the evening), and he showed up right on time once we settled on a date. He worked SO hard - his shirt was soaked with sweat by the end of the 4-5 hours. I'm never saw him even sit down for a break the entire time he was with us. And he was so pleasant when refilling his bucket with water. He even noticed our carpet was peeling back in one spot and stapled it back for us, and took care of this horrible stain on a white chair without us asking. When the carpets were done, they looked AH-MAZING! All those stains my kids tracked in were completely gone. Kevin said there were some spots he couldn't get out because I used the wrong cleaners on them but even those looked so much better. After the carpet dried, I noticed that it was a little brittle feeling, and having not gotten my carpet cleaned in a long time, I wasn't sure if this is normal/expected. Kevin was so kind with my questions, and insisted on coming over immediately to feel the carpet himself. He said what I felt is normal but was so willing to wash the carpet again with water if that would make me feel better. I can't say enough good things about Kevin and his customer service. Oh, and did I mention the prices?? They were so reasonable - $35 a room (up to 150 square feet)!

I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants to support a locally owned and operated mom shop who also needs someone who pays attention to all the little details that are critical to getting a home truly clean.
