This is value for money theatre. Tickets are $15 for an adult if you're lucky enough to get a seat. Pre season tickets are available for purchase with a discount, and they even offer concession to Senior Card holders.
I've been to a few performances now, and they have been most enjoyable.
Before each performance and during interval they open up the bar. A fridge full of water bottles and fruit boxes, volunteers serving tea and coffee. Milk, sugar and biscuits are self serve. The alcohol offerings are simple with cask red and white wines, and a basic sparkling white. The prices are very very cheap.
If you get the opportunity to go, just do it as so much better than watching a film. read more
