I had heard so many good things about Sam's Banana Pudding that I finally decided to give it a try…read more The ordering process is a little different than most places. Orders are placed through their website and then you wait for an email letting you know your order is ready for pickup. In my case, it took about a week. They currently operate out of a kiosk at the SoNo Collection and are only there on Fridays and Saturdays for part of the day. If you did not preorder and they happen to have extras available, you may be able to purchase them onsite. Individual puddings are currently around $8 each. I ordered a few different flavors to get a good feel for what they offer. The Birthday Cake Banana Pudding was my least favorite of the bunch. It had a bit of an aftertaste that did not work for me. Next was the Oreo Banana Pudding. It was okay. As someone who loves Oreos, I was expecting a little more from it. It was enjoyable, just not particularly memorable. The Original Banana Pudding ended up being my favorite. It was creamy, satisfying, and delivered the classic banana pudding flavor I was hoping for. While I would not call it amazing, it was definitely good and easily the standout of the three flavors I tried. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and I am glad I finally got to try it. The product is good, the concept is unique, and it is clear why people enjoy it. That said, based on the hype and recommendations I received, I was expecting to be a little more blown away. For me, this was a worthwhile one time try, but I am not sure I would go through the ordering process again unless there was a new flavor that really caught my attention.

Woman had promised alterations because in the back she has a woman who does alteration for a FEE. The woman (poonam) who is also the owner did not exchange or refund . The alteration woman was also on leave . She showed me a hand written sign on the wall which was not visible during my first trip when I went and purchased but I saw when she actually pointed it out on my trip back to the store when I needed to return for something that fitted properly. I am giving a one star rating but I actually don't want to because of the hardships I had in dealing with this store and the owner. I am stuck with this outfit now. Have never gone back and neither have my girlfriends. Word of mouth businesses should be careful. $250+ for an outfit you can never wear is literally a highway robbery!

She helped me organize them when I got to the store and was so patient, kind, and helpful (she also helped me carry them to my car!). I loved the nautical touch with the dune grass, rope, and adorable starfish (the creative Annette touch!). Annette is so crafty, while listening to the customer, understanding the theme, and executing it beautifully. She did everything in such a timely manner, as well. I continue to be impressed with this business and will ALWAYS highly recommend to all. We need more gift wrapping services like this on Long Island. If you are nervous about the virus like me, I felt very safe in this store. All CDC guidelines are being followed (masks, gloves, contactless payments, temperature checks, hand sanitizing, social distancing).
