Maybe listen to your customers instead of assuming they're okay with poor service. The tables weren't spotless, there was one napkin on the floor, and the music was so loud I could barely hear myself complain. When we entered this cafe, the server, who was unmasked, finished serving the customers ahead of us. They then went to wash their hands, masked, sanitized, BEFORE they approached us to help us. I have zero complaints about the time spent waiting because to notice our need for cleanliness was to recognise that we might have medical reasons for that. It was basically all water and jasmine tea. I believe they only use the fruit to give it the color of the drink. I guess this is a one time visit. The place wasn't busy when we came. I don't recommend Yummy Q. It is like throwing your money away. If you really like Jasmine tea. You can go to Chinatown or T&T and get a really big bag of Jasmine tea leafs for $3.99. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a Vietnamese coffee shop out here in Calgary. We ordered two drinks to go - iced morning coffee and coconut coffee. The difference between the morning and afternoon coffee is the coffee roast that is used to make the drink. It is an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I have not seen this option of stronger coffee in Vancouver, but I think it is great that they have the option. I took a sip and it tasted exactly what I expected with a bold coffee kick and sweet condensed milk. I also enjoyed the coconut coffee. It was sweet and slushy with a good coconut flavour. This was way better than the Timmy's ice cap I had a few days earlier. Service was fast. We did not get to enjoy the ambiance as we had a list of activities we were trying to do for the day. Definitely, this place is worth a revisit when we are back in town again.
