After a couple of years and still unable to get the weeds under control I gave up. My neighbor recommended TDI and what a difference! I rarely have any weeds now. Somewhere down the line this company decided they could not do the service because we live in Winchester TN, which is fine but a call to let us know should have happened. When we got ahold of someone the following week we were given this information and the CSR was supposed to return our call. That never happened as well. Your business starts and ends with your customers and I feel this never happened. They are a disappointing zero customer service company! I have been a customer for 3-years. I use their lawn, termite, and pest control services. Last year I got my parents enrolled. However, for three weeks I've attempted to get them to treat my lawn for uncontrollable weeds! I've called 3x times and requested a call from a manager! To date no one has come to my home and no one has called me back! How many times do I need to call? When will someone call me to assist? read more

I don't know what happened to TDI. We've used them for several years and they were absolutely the best. About a year or two ago we noticed they became a lot less involved in the sense of contact and communication with us. The techs don't seem to care much about how the lawn actually looks and when we asked them to re-treat the rear yard due to an explosion of weeds, they reapplied a product that created huge burn circles in our sod. This would have never happened a few years ago. I am cancelling with TDI. read more

TDI technician applied chemicals to my neighbors yard and made all of his turns in our yard, which left chemical burns in our lawn. We contacted the company to discuss the issue with a manager and were promised someone would call us the next day. After several phone calls requesting to talk to someone, we have been ignored. I was in desperate need of someone who could do all the biological lawn care functions (not lawn mowing). Our grass randomly started dying when it first got hot out. Then I started noticing the dreaded Japanese beetles attacking my newly planted trees and flowers. They quickly gave me a quote and got me on the schedule. We're great about respecting after a week of rain. My lawn already looks more green and I haven't seen as many beetles. I'm excited to see what my lawn will look like by next spring! How the mighty have fallen. I've been using TDI since 2018 and over half of my neighborhood does as well probably 100 customers just in my hood. This year our Facebook page is chock full of people asking for a different provider recommendation after their yards are absolutely overrun with weeds. Mine is no different, it looks completely terrible. I heard the company was recently sold so I'm attributing the nosedive in performance to that, but either way it's time to move on. Let me start off by saying that I have been a TDI customer for many years. They always did a wonderful job. The technicians were always friendly and were very easy to work with. Over the last year, the service has been going down. The techs appeared unhappy and their performance showed. My last service in 2024 was NOT performed. I received an email stating it was and was charged for the service. I work from home and never seen the technician in my yard. I have spent the last 5 weeks trying to get someone to come take care of my yard. No one will call back. They have zero customer service. The last call, I finally said I want my money back and to cancel my service. And yet they still can't call back. So sad! read more

I honestly questioned if they even did my last few services because the weeds have been evident and the dogs have been outside (because no one let me know). I live in Whitesburg Estates, and TDI has been my Lawn Care Professional for several years. Mostly, I've been satisfied with their work, though there have been points of contention. On those occasions, TDI has done the honorable thing and addressed them to my satisfaction. I have dogs, and sometimes they can appear aggressive and have been known to jump on people for attention or a pat on the head. Still, it's behavior I discourage. People are sometimes intimidated by their behavior and I'm always worried that someone could get scratched or react in a manner that causes the dog to become defensive. For these reasons, and to be a good neighbor, I ask anyone I employ to do yard or handyman work on the property or come visiting to call ahead and let me know their intended arrival time so I can bring my dogs inside. Most people do, though some don't. That results in a last-minute scramble, delaying contracted work from starting on time. TDI, like some others, will forget to call and, like today, leave a text message, which I may or may not read when it's received. It's been my experience that it takes longer to text a message than it does to speak on the phone to announce your arrival, but I guess for some time, it isn't an issue. This morning, my TDI lawn care professional left a text message. A message I didn't see for several hours even though the phone was on my person. While talking to my neighbor's lawn care team, I noticed the TDI truck travel north on Tamera Drive, and made a mental note that I was coming up on a scheduled application, and went back to what I was doing. When done, my dog and I went inside. My desktop showed a NEW text message, and when I read it became aware TDI intended to service my yard today. I replied the timing was bad and suggested tomorrow or Thursday and awaited their response, heading to Dominoes for lunch. Nonetheless, when I returned, I went outside to pick up the dog toys strewn across the front yard and discovered a TDI performance receipt on my porch. While I SAW NO INDICATION of a yard application having been done, that did not mean one hadn't been done. There were now questions in my mind about the dog toys I'd just picked up being contaminated with chemicals. I checked my surveillance cameras, and sure enough, a TDI truck was parked on the street in front of my house, and a man exited the truck and placed a receipt for an applied application on the porch. While didn't see any indication of someone spraying my yard, I can not say it hadn't been done. I checked my surveillance cameras, front, and backyard. My wife's two dogs could be seen in the backyard, but no one could be seen spreading weed control or fertilizer. I called TDI and challenged their performance receipt and told them why. I was adamantly assured by them , and the manager to whom I eventually spoke, that an application HAD BEEN done as billed and pre-paid. They were emphatic on that fact, as emphatic as I was, based on my video surveillance, that it had not been performed. While I still have my doubts and question their assertion that the application had been applied based on my surveillance cameras facing the street. Cameras that captured street traffic passing in front of my house, but no one dragging a hose and spraying chemicals or operating a spreader on my front yard. A "he said, she said" impasse. All I can say with certainty, which I passed on to TDI, is that in the future no one will come on my property to perform work for which I am to be charged or that I have prepaid, UNLESS I, OR MY WIFE, ARE PHYSICALLY PRESENT to see the work being performed. I am not saying the work I contracted for didn't get done, I am saying I can't prove it had been done. What I can say is there is no video evidence, under conditions that should have captured the work that it had it been done. For the past three years, each time TDI, Cooks, or anyone performed service on my property, a placard was affixed adjacent to the sidewalk. Not today. Why? For the record I'M NOT SAYING UNEQUIVOCALLY THAT IT DIDN'T GET DONE, I'M JUST SAYING I CAN'T FACTUALLY SAY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER THAT IT DID GET DONE. Trust but verify!! I strongly suggest that you use a company that focuses ONLY on irrigation services if you happen to need irrigation system work. I asked TDY for a yearly startup and close down of my irrigation system. When they came out for the first startup, within 2 days my irrigation system had a major failure. They claimed that someone had driven over the main valve. NO ONE and NO LAWNMOWER had run over it either. My yard had not been mowed yet for the first of the grass growing season. They also missed a failed sprinkler head that was gushing water and not doing its job. Also a sprinkler head was rotating 360 when it should have been rotating 180. Nothing was fixed. Nothing. No issues with my system were called to my attention. I have since called an irrigation system company and had the repairs made. So I paid twice to get the same problems fixed and to get a spring overhaul as needed on my system. I have terminated TDI from any irrigation repairs in the future. Other TDI services I have received, i.e., termites and lawn/weed fertilization and disease killing have been excellent and above my expectations. These services are so good I wish I had not had to give this review but I felt that people who have irrigation problems should seek help elsewhere. read more

TDI has excellent customer service. Response is immediate and not just over the phone taking your issue. They come out and verify your concerns and address immediately. My Yard got attacked twice last year by army worms and they came out and treated both times at no additional charge, I would have gladly paid as I just put down new sod in 2/3 of my yard. The old grass was attacked, so I was in a panic. When I looked at the bill....To my amazement it said $0.00!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. Thanks guys!! read more

I saw him walk around the yard and inspect it first, then spread the fertilizer, and even stopped to take extra time to apply fertilizer on the spots in the yard that are bare. I began using TDI services shortly after building our home in August 2020. We were very happy with the services we received until our technicians were changed in early 2021. During a service in July 2021, I watched as the technician "Jaquez Johnson" only treated half of my backyard and did not complete the pest services we were paying for. I called TDI and spoke with the manager "Andrew Davis" about the technician not performing the services as specified in our bill, the manager apologized but defended the technician. Mr. Johnson was sent back out to my home to redo the application. I witnessed Mr. Johnson complete this application. Approximately 5-6 weeks after Mr. Johnson completed the follow-up application, my husband and I started to notice various areas throughout the front and backyard start to turn brown then eventually gray. It wasn't until we had a scheduled lawn mowing and trim that the company pointed out to us that the grass had been overfertilized. Our mowing company walked the property with us and pointed out areas throughout the front and backyard that had been overfertilized resulting in fertilizer burn. There are various patches, streaks of brown/gray, desiccated grass where fertilizer was used and caused damage. In September 2021, a call was placed to TDI to report the damage. The manager Andrew Davis came out to the property and inspected only the front lawn even though he was told the damage was in the backyard as well. Mr. Davis agreed that the front lawn had in-fact been overapplicated and if given the opportunity, TDI would do everything to repair the damage. We agree to allow TDI to continue to treat the damage to the front and backyard in hopes that the grass would grow back in. To-date, none of the damaged areas have grown back in. From January 2022 to now, we have spoken with the manager multiple times about replacement but they have yet to replace any of the burnt grass after stating it would be replaced if treatments did not work. read more

Shout out to TDI Services for their outstanding customer service. I have been using TDI for several years now and they have always done a great job. Recently we were invaded by army worms and when I called, they were at my house within hours. Rumor is most the other yard services weren't answering their phones or taking several days to show up and treat. Not TDI, they answered the phone, they were friendly and cared about my needs. In fact, the service was free because I was a current customer. Also, the next day I noticed more active worms and they came back within 24 hours and sprayed again.
