I have to be clear that I am a Vietnamese guy so I understand all about customer by Vietnamese people. I can't stand anymore :I make the first order with the owner of this shop, I belive his name is Dat, and he is so helpful. I like it because he is straightforward and tell me about the price for mirror. I asked him for some discount and he give me some percent off. The day when his worker come and set up the mirror. Here come the nightmare. After his worker come and set up the mirror in my living room, I decide to do the mirror on my stair. One of his worker, his name is "Tien" or Tam which is the owner's father, started talking. It 's a big mirror too. He said it look good if I put a 90*60. I told him whether he can do from one side to another. He said that it look better if I just do 90*60. I decide I will go with that. He charge me the price total $440 for 90*60 which he explained that $300 for the mirror and labor is $150 which I think it absurd. I asked him for some discount since he already did the one in my living room, he said no. Either take it or not doing it. The day when they come set it up, after they put the molding on there, I totally did not like it. Both sides has some gap left and it looks so awkward. That old man started selling the stuff again by saying that it looks really nice and blah and blah. I told him I did not like it and just do how I want it. I originally want from one side to another and this is not how I want it. This guy then called his shop and ask for another one which has the size 90*43 and he said the price is $220 and labor charge is $50. He will cut the original from 90*60 to 90*43 and buy another one. After they come back with the send mirror and bring me all the invoice, I started getting so pissed off. I tried to explain to him this: What I want: 2 mirror * $220 = $440. Labor charge is $150=$590 What it turn out :$710.Except for the price issue, here come other issues that even a Vietnamese guy can not stand this kind of service. When the worker come to set up the whole project, I talked to him on the phone at my house and asked all these price issue, it get to point where I am like " man, just do it. It 's only $100 or $120 difference, I do not want to argue anymore." I told his worker who is really nice guy to just do it. When Tuan is in the middle of doing it, this guy call his worker to clean up and go home. I am clear to hear that his worker told him that I agreed to pay and he is the middle of it. Huh? I told Tuan that can you just do it since it 's my housewarming on Saturday. Tuan told me that his boss told him to not doing it and leave. Then I called the shop, I know he saw my number and do not want to pick up the phone. I am clear that I called at 1:54Pm on Thursday 06/24/2016 and they should have record of that. At this point, I am pissed. I called him back at 2:57pm and this old man finally pick up the phone. He told me he does not want to talk to me and want me to pass the phone and talk to my wife. "huh???" What the S* is that? He said he need the 3rd person to explain to me instead of him. Old man, I am dealing with you.. I even told him that I already agreed to do it and you are the one to tell your worker to go back to the shop. He started saying that he is the boss and I should call him and say sorry to him so he can decide to do it. Old man, you are a seriously liar. I am clearly know that you know I agree to do it. You just don't want to do it because of your ego and pathetic personality. My phone number is 916-226-0599 and if you check your phone record, you know I called back. At this point, after he mentioned my family involved, he is way out of line. He want me to apologize and admit that I am wrong again. Each story has both sides and I am not saying I am 100% right. Remember this old man : " I am a customer to your business. You don't need to lecture me about my manner or how I should act. And don't even dare to mention anything about my family.". I apologized to the owner here personally but not to that old man. He is so cheap and insulting people. I bet his worker is not happy with the way he bossed around too. Soon, they will all leave you. If you are a worker and you are in the middle of the job and customer finally agree to do it, will you just let them do it and get the money. Because of his ego and pathetic, he turned away a business and that is a big business name that he damage. He said he is in the business for 20plus year but he did not know that : " Customer is always right." So unprofessional and rude. I never mad at business this much and that man really damage Tien Dat glass. His family has helped a lot of my family business which has jelwery store, nail salon, restaurant and he just ruin all that. I will tell all my family now to turn away from this. I am disappointed.
