READ THIS BEFORE OPENING AN ACCOUNT I've had TD for about a year and in that time, there have been "minor" issues such being on hold for an hour to approve the purchase of my fiancé's engagement ring... Tonight, I wired money ($15,200) to complete the transaction on my dream car. The person who prepared the wire entered an incorrect account number. The wire was rejected by the receiving bank. I discovered the error, as they would not have said a word.. even though they took the money in 15 minutes, it will take 48 hours to come back to the account. The staff has NO CLUE as to how things work and really do little more than to say "I'm sorry". At least they were gracious enough to refund my fee... only because I asked. Their customer service is abysmal. Accordingly, I closed all of personal and business accounts. I've been banking with TD for a few years now. I just started a new job in Staten Island after working in Manhattan for a few years, so I went to this branch on my lunch break to quickly deposit a check. My quick visit turned into a 40 minute ordeal. I went to deposit my check in the ATM, but the ATM wouldn't accept my check so I had to go into the branch. My card never came back out, so now I had a new problem as well. The teller was very friendly, but as for the Assistant Manager, Jessica, I can't say the same. The attitude I got from her and the way she brushed me off was appalling. She could care less about my time or the fact that I was a loyal TD customer. Replacing someone's debit card takes all but 3-5 minutes, tops. Instead, I got to waste my entire lunch break waiting. The best part, she wouldn't put a sign on the ATM warning customers that it's not functioning correctly. They're not allowed to, apparently. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. What I do know is that I will never bank and this branch again. Stay away and give your business to a branch that will take care of you. read more

I come here often just to count coins...if you have a card for TD bank card counting coins are free of charge... The service here is such a pain in the ass...for some reason every time I'm here I always fill up the coin machine...I ask them to fix it there's always this 30min to an hour wait really annoying...I'm here just to count coins not to wait forever... There's a big parking lot...theres always parking...yes there's bathrooms... Weekends they close extremely early expically on Sundays 3:00 pm...this place is always busy on the weekends...weekday they close at eight pm which is a reasonable time... They have a big staff...four offices...and two coin counters...this place always give out free pens and candy...such as lollipop and TD bank pens... read more

1 star is very generous. Two cars at drive thu windows & waited 18 min. before I moved up to window. At ten min. I called bank on cell & requested to speak with manager. I advised Mustafa Rashid of problem but he put me on hold. After transaction at window the loud hold music was still on. I walked into bank & he was at desk. I used to do all my banking with TD in Monroe for convenience. The attitude of Amy sitting on her royal chair totally made me leave. She closed an account that I had for years without giving me a choice because I hadn't used it to her satisfaction. Moved to Wells fargo and feel welcomed every time I go there. They know me by first name and find it a total pleasure doing business there. I needed to speak to a person behind the desk rather than a teller because I needed to open an account for my daughter. I bank at Chase but I was required to open an account at TD for my baby so I had no choice but to go there. FIrst of all - only two people were working the desks & there was 5 people in front of me. One person was knowledgable & the other seemed like he was new & asking the knowledgable one for a lot of information. She was helping him & her customers at the same time. Once I was seen she was very helpful & nice but they definitely need more people behind those desks. Too much of a busy branch to only have two people. read more
