Upon arrival, we were greeted by the assistant manager Madonna which was extremely hospitable & helpful in getting her taken care of. The branch supervisor Barbara, did great in getting matters sorted out for us & making sure that we were informed of all things dealing with the account. While there, I personally saw Madonna handle several unpleasant customers with the greatest & most professional of mannerisms. Definitely round of applause to this Branch. I trust them with all of her banking needs & can tell that all upcoming customers moving forward will be in good hands. Go Northfield!!!

Friendly tellers, clean space and a working ATM machine is pretty much all I need from a bank. My only gripe is every 6 months or so I receive about 5 calls in a two day period about investing with Santander. It is made from a sales associate in within the banks location. It can however be mistaken as an alarming phone call. The last time I received a voicemail from the associate I was promoted to "call back about a very important notice regarding my bank account". They very important matter was new rates available on CD accounts. Sales needs to be trained better for situations like this. I blame corporate and not the location but this affects this specific location of the bank.

I don't expect sunshine/smiles/rainbows and I'm ok with that. It seems others don't understand that. This is NYC not Ohio. Their customer service line sucks but which one doesn't? Apart from that they give City employees nice loans and mostly no fee savings/checking accounts. They even have a no fee coin counting machine. One thing that needs to be greatly improved on at all locations are the ATM machines. They're dated compared to other banks but they do serve their purpose. I'd continue to use this location and will recommend it to all of my civil servant brothers/sisters.
