    Terrible service. Ridiculous requirement. It wasted me an hour but nothing gets done. I went to PNC and the process went very smoothly.

Showed up the other day to deposit money in his account. He recently moved cross country and needed some cash. No big deal. No one was on line so I walked right up to the window. The clerk seemed flustered, deeply involved in a drive through window transaction. I stood there literally for 10 minutes waiting to fork over my check. "Is this your account?" No, it's my son's. "Are you on the account?" Again, no but I do want to deposit a check into it. Also worth mentioning is that my son and I have the same last name, as many fathers and sons do and my name was printed on the check. Personally, I'm not particular about deposits into my account. Anyone can do so and I promise not to object. Matter of fact, if anyone reading this wants to deposit cash, checks, rolled coins or anything else monetary, you're more than welcome to do so. What I do care about it who withdraws funds and insist upon me being the only one to do so. Over the years I've had many experiences with PNC Bank at various locations, all have which have been sub par. From holding a paycheck of mine for 14 days (bank was out of state, business was literally 10 feet from the branch) to my most recent experience, they never cease to drop the all important customer service ball. While other banks go out of their way to insure their clients' experience is up to par, PNC continues to miss the mark. Perhaps they should just stay in Pennsylvania.

    Every time I need to get cash out or make a deposit I only use the ATM's. I rarely see a need to…read moreactually go inside & speak to a teller. Honestly, why would anyone wait in line when they can do it at the ATM? However I can understand why sometimes some people rather the one on one. This particular day I had to make a bigger than usual money withdrawal and I couldn't find any parking in front of the building so I decided to use their drive thru ( I completely forgot they had more parking in the back). This was very convenient because it was a pretty cold day so the idea of me staying put in my warm car was amazing. The teller who helped me was GREAT, I believe her name was Judy. She had such a welcoming smile, right away greeted me by my name which I enjoyed because it was more personal. I explained to her this was my first time using their drive thru so I wasn't sure how it worked and she helped me out and even gave me extra withdrawal slips for the future. I was there for 5-8 minutes and not because they took a long time but because I told her I knew my account number and by mistake gave her my checking instead. She apologized for the delayed since she had to look for my account manually, but it was my fault the whole time.. opps. Definitely my bad. I will most definitely use the drive thru again when I have my son in the car so I don't have to get out and drag him with me !
