Branch manager at this location, Asian guy - appears as complete as-hole toward dogs, and dogs owners. I came in for quick transaction at teller's desk with my dog (German pointer). The set up they have, teller's station (or desk), its like an island, pass is open from both sides and around it. So my dog pulled a little what leash allowed around and towards the teller, the Asian woman; that's what dogs do, my dog is very social, wants to say "hello" in his dog's way to everybody. Woman appeared not comfortable with dogs, you can see it in a second, so I pulled dog and say command to pull back on more comfortable distance from her, its really nothing, the whole action (if it is an action, its nothing) took about 1.5 - 2 seconds. Manager, sitting next island start talking to me, really talking down in a very loud voice, loud that all people in the store could hear "I can't have this" (at a time he stared talking, there was no "this"), and he said in the same very loud voice (telling me??) "don't assume everybody like dogs", and he repeated this talking-down to customer "don't assume everybody like dogs". I didn't say anything, only said that in other TD branches bank employees seems more civilized towards dogs... that gets him going, he repeated "don't assume everybody like dogs"... Very rude, very unprofessional, very insulting -- to tell customer what to assume.

Especially considering TD's policy - all TD branches - dogs welcome, and people (employees) are very dog-friendly. read more
