Applied for a card, but because I didn't have any balances to transfer they declined it, this must be their new model, offer 0% on new purchases and balance transfers, naturally they charge a fee for the transfers and without it they had no interest in the rest. They send you a letter and tell that their decision isn't based on your credit file, but if you call them on it, they only tell you to request your file from the reporting agency. Now I am sad they have my info from the app and I see this is a pattern of poor service from them. read more

They closed all my accounts for no reason ??? causing me to go through the worst procedure moving forward to transfer all acounts to another bad bank (chase. the most racist bank around ). while doing that my business got ruined . Insurance direct deposit to my accounts to pay for my services to patients pending . auto pay to suppliers messed and ruined my credit score???. do not deal with these 2 banks TD and Chase . read more

Shout out to Latoya, the manager that was super kind and helpful during my visit! I had to get a debit card replacement, and there was some issue where the new card failed at the ATM twice with the teller. The manager helped me out and was pleasant, friendly, and had amazing customer service. She was able to get it fixed in what was a very busy day at the freehold location, and even tended to other guests she saw waiting with the same positive attitude. I've dealt with TD on and off since the 80s back when It was Commerece bank. Its an OK bank but they are the worst when it comes to fees. They have a fee for everything. And they arent afraid to let the fees pile on, even if it really isn't justified. If you bank here just make sure you keep an eye on your statement and challenge them as soon as you see a problem. I pay my bills online. I set all my bills to be paid on a Friday because that's when I get paid through direct deposit. They paid the bills at 245 am and the direct deposit hit at 3am. They hit me with overdraft fees, late fees, oxygen fees, tax fee, consumer fee, fee after fee, you get the idea. I went down there and made a huge stink and they credited me back the money, probably because I was loud and making a scene. But they eventually did the right thing. They also don't give you access to cash deposits right away. You have to wait a day or two. There is a fee if you use this money too soon. This branch isn't bad. Its certainly convenient and clean. All TD Bank lines are slow so expext to wait. read more

The associates at this location are rude and can barely find the tolerance to do their job which is to assist costumers. I asked for the manager twice, and was given the run around. After waiting for an embarrassingly long time I was "assisted" by an associate who had no idea, and obviously little patience helping me with the matter for which I came. Ah TD Bank. This is the bank that I go to the most since it's closest to my house. For some reason this one in particular is always packed with people. They generally have enough staff working but that doesn't matter there are always way more customers. It's a pick your poison between getting in line inside or going to the drive through. Even with this in mind you see the same staff when you go in and they are very pleasant when they help you. If you have ever been to a TD Bank they have that free coin machine where you can cash in all of your coins. You have a 50 percent chance of having this break while you are there. Just my opinion of course but it seems like every time I'm in there they are helping someone out with that thing. The other thing specific to this branch is someone steals all the stacks of checking deposit slips. Someone has a stack load of these in the glove compartment because every time I go in I have to ask for one. The rest of the slips are always full! Of course they have the free pens too which I think we all know we have 5 to 10 each in our car. Every time I go out to eat the service has you sign the check with TD Bank pens. Thanks TD Bank. Another thing I've noticed with this specific location is that the thing where you are supposed to swipe your card to get to the ATM after hours is almost always broke. This doesn't matter of course because the door to get to the ATM just opens. It's been fixed on and off but maybe the person taking all the checking deposit slips is also continually breaking the door. Ultimately this is a great bank to deal with and I have no complaints about this location besides the constant crowd which they attempt to deal with by having a good amount of staff on hand. Avoid it on Fridays, it's crowded. Td is definitely a convenient bank, it's almost always open. I normally use the drive thru area and do not encounter any major problems. Beisdes being packed on Fridays, you can get just about anything done there. Rules can change based on the mood of the staff. If you get a friendly teller they will help you but if you get a lazy one, they will find a way to say it's against their policy. Go figure, policies change one day to the next. For the most part service is good, no major lines, no fees. read more

I use this bank to cash in rolled coins. It's eithr this or a coinstar machine. The Coinstar achine charges 9% I believe unless you take a gift card instead of cash, then there is no fee. TD bank charges 8%. They get used a lot and there will probably be someone ahead of you so be patient. You can just bring a big jug of coins and dump it in, but then you are at the mercy of the machine counting your money. I have friends who have been shorted money and had to work it out with the manager. I roll my coins at home so I know exactly how much I have. Then, when I bring them in, I lay them out on top of the machine and take a quick pic with my cell phone. This way if there is a large discrepancy, I can show the pic so they know I'm not full of shit. Any way, the staff is pretty helpful here, but they do try to get you to open an account. Personally, I would be more likely to open an account if they didn't charge for the coin machine. read more

Been a customer since they were Commerce stay away from this bank I just had fraud committed at a TD Bank in NYC i live in NJ a woman walked in & deposited $10 into my checking account & asked for an account balance so she would know how much to take without taking more then I had in my checking next day went back to another TD Bank in NYC & showed them a Connecticut drivers license in my name never questioning why my account says I live in NJ but her ID showed a Connecticut address & allowed her to withdraw nearly all my money. They now have said its their fault but I will have to wait 7-10 business days for the fraud department to refund my money!,, the fact that my hold time to speak to fraud department was about 20 mins means they have a ton of fraud calls coming in. Had the teller been more diligent about protecting my money & asking why the license state didn't match my state or address they could have caught the woman & possibly stopped it from happening. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere with your money this bank is a joke & could careless about you even when it's their fault read more
