A year ago, I shared a very negative experience at this branch that left me with an unfavorable impression. However, today I would like to highlight that my experience was completely different and extremely positive. When I visited the branch today, I was assisted by Ms. Daisy Jaimes, who provided exceptional service. She kindly introduced me to the teller and connected me with the new branch manager. Both demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. I sincerely appreciate the excellent treatment I received today. It is important to recognize when things are done right, and this visit truly exceeded my expectations. I find this particular branch to be very helpful and courteous. I try to utilize this one over the others.

Given the rude and nasty, superiority attitude displayed by the bank manager, while I was helping my friend attend to her banking, I wouldn't even give this branch office a one star rating! My friend , a long-term customer was treated without respect or dignity. The bank manager's unkind tone of voice and unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. She devalued my friend and was demeaning throughout our attempt to complete simple banking transactions. I have never seen or encountered such a horrid banking experience! Surely Santander can provide its customers with thoughtful and caring customer service...I would encourage them to reconsider who represents their banking policy. read more

I have been a Santander customer for over 25 years. I've always have great experiences at the Schanck Road branch at the drive thru or in the lobby. The tellers are always friendly and pleasant. They are quick with my transactions and I've never had an issue. I will continue to bank with Santander as long as I can. read more

Horrible customer service or should I say lack there of! 1 star is too high. Rude employees who just don't care and have zero customer service! I've never seen a bank not care even a little bit for its customer- especially one that has a very large amount of money with them! I'll be closing all my accounts and moving to a bank that knows how to treat customers! Shame on this branch because I'll be closing all my accounts, my husband's accounts and my 4 custodial accounts! All I wanted was 10 thousand dollars and I was told i had to wait till the end of the week!!!??? Nope not keeping money here any longer. Started out great because I was greeted with one step in the door. Which made me feel welcome. Except after me presenting my deposit, I was promptly informed that in order to complete my transaction, I needed to remove my sunglasses! It's bank policy! I informed her that these are my glasses to see.then I felt interrogated from there, like she was displeased with me not complying with my glasses being removed. Do I have a atm card? You know your soon gonna be unable to make dep onside! Is this your account? So I loose it on her & tell her to just deposit my check! Over comes a customer service big wig who makes me relive my interrogation all over again. It gets better! The bank manager button in & wants to take me to the door to read the sign! Really! I need to remove the only glasses I need to see to MAKE A DEPOSIT! This bank should get no stars for making my banking experience not welcoming, but making me feel like another bank deserves my accounts! read more

The supervisor was a nasty woman that could have been the most useless human that I have ever had the experience of meeting. She literally offered no alternatives to helping solve an issue my elderly grandmother was having. As I tried to help she was reprimanding me like a child that I couldn't help her. Would not take my mothers death certificate for the second time. I was talking to the person in charge when i was ignored. Mid sentence. I have been tring to do the right thing and provide the death certificate. To the lady who ignored me and would not look up the notes written from the Monroe branch FUCK YOU! The Schank Road Santander is the worst bank I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The manager refused to give name and I had to resort to filing a complaint with NJ Banking and Insurance. Apparently there was a glitch and a double withdrawal was made, but the manager was unprofessional and rude. I guess the bank is happy to have incompetent employees, and it reflects upon the entire entity. I'll be banking elsewhere and anyone considering doing business with them should take a pass. read more

Carmen A is the worst bank manager I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. She treated me like I was a lower class individual and gave me attitude that I have never encountered at a Santander branch before. When other employees attempted to help me this manager actively looked over their shoulders at my information and then proceeded to stop the employees from assisting me. She demanded I leave the premises when one of the employees was in the middle of helping me with a withdrawal. She threatened to call the police just because she wanted to assert her authority as bank manager. A truly vile individual and I urge people of color to never do business at this branch. read more

Went to the Schanck Rd. Branch. I tried to use the drive thru but after waiting 10 minutes I gave up and drove into the parking area and entered the bank. The teller said they were short an employee but as I looked around I saw people at their desks doing nothing. I'm Glad I don't have to go there to often. I think Santander should send their employees to TD Vank to learn how to service customers. read more

Both Freehold branches and the Customer Service Phone Line are the absolute worst. There is not enough room in this review to express all of the factual errors this bank has made with our accounts/money etc. They call us premier customers and treat us like garbage. The most recent fraud issue where the customer service rep either couldn't or wouldn't help us out was the last straw. We up and moved to a new bank. Once our last few checks clear and we can close up that one last account will be a great day and I will sleep a lot easier. read more

I haven't been impressed with Santander so far. Recently I became disabled due to an accident, and noticed that they hold every check from my disability insurance company for an additional 10 days, despite the fact it comes from a reputable insurance company. They don't do this with checks I get from my employers, from gifts, from clients or anyone else. There is no legitimate reason to hold disability funds longer than any other form of payment than blatant discrimination. They also permitted a rather large theft against my checking account recently, and froze my account while they took four weeks to wait for the thief to try and place his fraudulent claim against my account. Not recommended. read more
