Service for teller was mediocre speed but in order to see someone took forever. I called to ask if a notary was in their location (since the location nearer to me didn't have one in). When i spoke to the woman on the phone she told me yes to just come it. Now i came into the bank and there was one man waiting in front of me and the desk bankers were talking. I had 5 people come in behind me and when the bankers were done talking i just mentioned i called for the notary. They then told me i needed to SIGN IN IN AN IPAD that's pushed to the side And NOT visible outside. How was i supposed to know that. I went from being 2nd to being 6th!! Just for a signature! Why wouldn't she tell me on the phone or why wouldn't the teller tell me or why isn't there a sign on the door or the iPad in view for people to see when they first walk in! I don't go into the bank often as i do everything via atm or online. What a shit show! Over 30 mins for something that should have been in and out. However when i went up to the teller to tell her my situation again she quickly go the ASM to come and assist me. Need better time management in this store ! read more

I'm at this location as I type. I came in to open a new account. I've been here for over an hour and have not been seen. This is absolutely ridiculous! The employees move with NO sense of urgency! This waiting time is honestly so very painful, I can hardly deal with it. I hope I never have to come back to this location EVER again. Messed up my entire Sat morning routine. Thanks TD bank...TD=TERRIBLE Delivery (of customer service) or Terribly DELAYED bank. read more

TD Bank - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Bronx, New York

I walked in at 4pm when the bank closes at 5pm. I explained my account was locked and had no access to my accounts. I was told to wait for the manager. I waited for 25-30 minutes just for the manager to walk over to me and tell me customer service is closed and he cant help me. The only good thing is he sent me to the Pelham Bay location which i would hive a 5 star rating. Everybody was very friendly and i had my issue resolved withing minutes. read more

Yesterday was a day full of errands for the New Year. One thing on list the was to switch banking institutions. Which is a great idea in theory, if your current bank doesn't meet your needs anymore. However, the worst idea ever after you complete the task and realize how many online accounts you now have to up date with new billing info... Ugh. I digress, my experience here was wonderful. I walked in after coming from the Parkchester location (w/ a 45min wait, that I was unwilling to sit for) and was greeted as soon as my foot hit the second door. After some quick pleasantries I was immediately seated and the business began without a glitch. Ms. Gina S. was simply a delight we talked about travel, employment, and future plans. As we had personal conversation she never missed a beat, the whole time still proceeding with all of my necessary transactions. She took her time and was extremely detailed (no surprises when you get your statements). She wasn't tryna to up-sell me any additional products by being aggressive. She listened to why I was switch financial institutions, what I required for this particular transaction, and provided me with everything I needed. Every question answered! To be honest I can not speak to any other representatives' customer service inabilities or to excessive wait times, as others have stated. As this was my first visit here, but I will say Gina S. was great. Even promptly replied to an email I sent today with one additional question I failed to ask as we were talking about other things. So far so good! read more

I have no idea why anyone will give this one more than one star because that what the lowest rating allowed. Most the time, this branch is overcrowded exceeding maximum persons by NYC fire department code allowed in space. No other branch will get away with this pure discrimination of treatment of long waiting time. Most of their customers are non English speaking, so their treatment is like fifth world. Staffs are okay , but td bankprovide no resources to lower waiting time. Average waiting time is easy exceed 45 mnts....all the times. This branch required investigation why is the longest waiting time to process any transaction compare to any other branches in the north east. This bank should to stop opening new accounts untill finding solution about redicules long waiting time. read more

Worst bank on the planet. Americas most inconvenient bank. Drive through like snails. Closing my account today. This place is a joke especially the one on Tremont Avenue. Wish I could give zero stars. I think they only hire the mentally challenged. read more

This branch has really gone to crap. Excuse my language but really ? I have been coming to this branch for I don't know how many years but it seems now all they have employed are a bunch of kids "teenagers" ..I would go to the drive-thru and be done with my transaction in no time . The last couple of times I have on line with just one car in front of me for over 20 minutes waiting...and when I finally get to the window I have to ask for service because no one is there . I don't know if your branch is short staffed or understaffed or whatever the case may be but either way I'm done after today I'm removing all my deposit accounts and my IRA and I am just going to my local credit union. TD slogan is "America's most convenient Bank".... that is the biggest joke. read more

Everytime there is a delay...2 tellers for 8-10 ppl...ATM machines only take checks to their specifications so no small checks or too large checks... ridiculous!! You always have to wait... Get more tellers or get better machines read more

Extremely unprofessional and rude! My debit card was stolen and being used, A TD representative made a CURB SIDE PICK UP Appt for me at this location to pick up my new card. The appt was set for 1pm. I arrived 15 mins earlier and was greeted at the door by such a mean and rude lady named Gina. She was very aggressive and kept arguing that they close at 1. I politely explained that I had a confirmation appt for 1 , that all though I understand they close at 1 ( which the rep never told me) it's not the customers fault that internally there is a miscommunication between branches and corporate worker. The clients/ customers should not be spoken to, treated like and yelled at like they are at fault. She could visibly see I'm pregnant and continued to speak to me in an aggressive manner. Thank goodness my husband was able to speak to another lady who was super nice and understand and was able to help us. read more

Worst bank ever. Currently standing on line over 30 minutes with less than 5 people ahead of me. America's most INCONVENIENT Bank!

I'm usually a fan of TD bank and they're exceptional customer service but my experience in this branch has been horrible.

Unbelievable. TD Bank phone number on website is their fax. Came in, told manager, he couldn't care less. He said, "I'm not worried about that, only about here." I said "But nobody can call here!" He laughed, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Teller told me correct #: 718 319-1046 (not 1049 as on website). Manager said all phone lines must have been busy and it went to fax. Wrong. Doesn't know his own phone number. read more

I usually have good experiences here but today I left upset. I had an issue with check verification which I never have problems when I deposit a check I called customer service this morning and they instructed me to go into the bank and speak with someone. When I got there the older gentleman standing in the front kept interrupting me while I was speaking and it was pissing me off the only reason I didn't curse him out and give me some customer service 101 was because this is a branch I often visit and they're usually nice. If anyone at this location is reading this review tell that asshole that you listen with your mouth closed and ears open read more

This is an example of why there are ATM machines. My fiancé went up to the teller this morning to withdraw cash and the teller had an attitude. She had the nerve to ask my fiancé if his card was linked to the machine and told him that he should've gone to the ATM. First of all you have a job because people use tellers, second of all when your job becomes obsolete after people start using ATMS what is this lazy worker going to do? Collect money from where? It's a shame that these people don't want to work. Shame on TD for hiring lazy people. read more

I only have TD bank because my job opens a savings for us here. The few times I've come in to obtain a card and/or transfer funds into my account, there's always a line. Meanwhile you see several employees walking around, coming in and out. It's always something with this bank. It's the closest one to my house and has parking so I don't have much of a choice to come to this location either read more

I had a very positive experience at this TD Bank. Daniel was very friendly and helped me fast and efficiently!

Horrible customer service. Horrible attitudes on everyone in the bank. The wait time for the drive up window is ridiculous and the wait time inside is double ridiculous. This is my local td bank and I go out of my way to go to others because everyone in the bank including the manager is horrible to do business with. Waste of time. Worst bank ever. read more

I had advised my son to open an Basic checking account at the local TD bank on East Tremont and Randall. This was on a Sunday, Monday was MLK day then on Tuesday my son's account is somehow blocked because they can't verify information. He's been at TD Bank 4 times in 2 days and all they come up with is excuses. He had direct deposit set up and now they are saying that the direct deposit is pending and his money isn't available either. They asked him to bring the pay stub. WTH would he need to have to bring in a pay stub? never heard of this nonsense. TD is not a place I would recommend to anyone young or old. Stick with banks you know like Citibank or Chase, hell even Capital one! Totally not worth the aggrevation! read more

Words could not explain the terrible customer service in this branch. Bankers name Sigfredo Rivera had a 10 minute conversation with another banker in middle of helping me, holding on to the new debit card I walked in there to get. Terrible customer service. read more

The worst service ever had waited on line for over 20 minutes to make a deposit and then the manager comes out and tells me that the drive through is open after I waited 30 minutes on line. This is just terrible. Then to top things off you can only deposit 100.00 in coins a day what kind of nonsense is this what happened to the most convenient bank and isn't this a Bank. read more

I entered this Bank on March 16th looking for a notary republic. I sat at the appropriate bench to wait for someone to help me. I noticed there was a gentleman to the right helping someone and another gentleman to the left helping someone but there was a young woman sitting in the middle talking to a loud woman and they both worked at the bank. I then proceeded to go to the younger woman as the older woman was walking away and asked her if there was a notary public but before I can even ask her anything she told me that I had to wait. I just told her that I needed to know if there was a notary public and she said yes you have to wait and I sat back down. I waited there approximately half an hour before one of the gentleman who had finished taking care of a customer walked up to me and asked me if I needed help and I told him that I needed a notary public. He then proceeded to walk to the back of the bank to call the notary public who happened to be the loud woman talking to the younger woman. A few minutes later the woman walks over to his desk on the other side and yells over here and I'm looking around like who was she talking to and she's looking at me like I'm supposed to know that she's talking to me. Then I walked over to her desk and she started taking out the stamp to stamp my document. I think it was very unprofessional of her that she did not even come up to me and asked me in a professional way if I was the one that needed a notary public. She was very unprofessional and unsuitable for a job like this. You don't treat a customer that has been with the bank since it first opened with such on professionalism. Kathleen Coccaro should take a class and customer relations because she is not suited to work with the public. read more

they deposited my check in the wrong account, even though the name and correct account number was on the check, and refused to eliminate overdraft charges associated with the account. When I called the number on the back of the card customer service supervisor ALEX was extremely rude and repeatedly interrupted me saying that it was my fault and refused to let me talk to another supervisor. I will be changing banks! read more
