Took me to long to finally leave "Plymouth Rock". I thought…read moreat first Plymouth Rock would be better and more customer oriented than my last company I dealt with for decades! I was wrong! At first they were very attentive and concerned after my first yearly payment! Then yearly with increases each year without explanations or justification ! They just send you an email with your new yearly total. And expect you to pay. Called my agent, he seemed ok but something I can not pin point but felt he made me feel I was always interrupting him but in a nice way he thinks. I did not feel he was looking out for my best interest and after I left found mistakes were done! I had on a few occasions talked to someone higher in the food chain there and got better service! I asked to change agents but I would have to start all over again even with the same company! That's ridiculous and personality clash should not have to redo everything again. So!!! I finally left totally and got another company that actually saved me 1/2 of what Plymouth Rock charged me FOR THE SAME POLICY AND SAME COVERAGE! What a shock and my new Agent Amazing! So, in retrospect Not ALL COMPANIES REALLY LOOK OUT FOR YOU! SHOP AROUND YOU WILL SEE YOU COULD SAVE HUNDREDS.

Horrible customer service!! Horrible customer service. I had…read moreto file a claim with Plymouth Rock Assurance, (my insurance) after a guy hit my parked vehicle, and found out his insurance policy had lapsed, and now refuses to contact me back to fulfill his obligations. First time I've ever had to file a claim...I went through the whole claims process, did their accident reconstruction app, and had my verbal report recorded, as well as texted and emailed all the details. I already had an estimate done prior to making a claim, because the guy who hit me wanted to pay out of pocket, until the estimate came back around$2,700. I have given my information repeatedly to the claims rep, who continues to give me the run around.. I've offered over half a dozen times for them to come review the damage, but they insist I work with one of "their" shops. I have told them repeatedly, I am not. They claim I haven't given them information, when it's clearly in black and white, threatened to close my claim several times... Yet they have been repeatedly given all the information. The estimate I submitted from the body shop has everything all itemized with full color photos of the damage, so they should have no issue sending me a check for the balance due, lessy deductible like I've asked numerous times. Absolutely ridiculous, it's been since October 2025, and the rep keeps talking in circles...doing whatever she can to dismiss my claim, instead of doing the right thing. I even emailed the supervisor, who never responded back...All I'm asking is for them to send a check, so I can be made whole again. Allowing me to use ashop and timeframe that works best for me. I did my part, I paid for my policy on time and on full, expecting to receive quality reliable service when I need it the most. I feel like I was sold lightning rods and snake oil, instead of any Assurance of insurance...my next review is to report them to the BBB and an attorney...Consumer beware!! I don't know how they are still operational when they allow business to be conducted like this. Also, contacting my local agent who setup this policy to recommend he not recommend this company to anymore clients, before reading all the similar negative reviews. Plymouth Rock need to audit themselves and do some restructuring from within, if they want to salvage any type of reputation...Claim number 643402706234

Two out of the three agents I spoke to, on three separate occasions, severely misinformed me, specifically about the estimated time of arrival on which I would receive the funds (paper check that had to mailed) I withdrew from my retirement. Assuming I would have already received the check, because I received the "Distribution Statement" on Monday, July 14th, 2025, I called Fidelity and was specifically told that I would receive the check on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 (today). Today, I arrived home, checked my mail, expecting the check and it was not there, so I called to find out why. The nice representative that I spoke with today did her due diligence (unlike the two prior), apologized profusely and informed met that the ETA now would likely be next Thursday, the 24th, which is totally unacceptable. The original transaction took place on July 1st and I was told that I would receive the check in "7 to 10 business days, that being said, July 4th is a holiday". Check wasn't even cut until July 7th, not even mailed until the 10th, was verbally told on Monday that I would receive it today (16th), and now the 24th?!!!!!! It is 2025 and it takes 24 days from the date of the transaction to receive a check? This "miscommunication" is going to cost me anywhere from $3000 to $4000. I can certainly understand a 3 or 4 day delay, but we are talking about 14. All these calls were recorded, so feel free to go back and listen. I hope someone does. Fidelity is a huge company, with billions of dollars, and I'm just a nobody, with a small 401K, in their eyes. They need to treat all their customers/clients the same way and make this right!! Thank you for your time.

The size of our…read more Fidelity portfolio gives us a personal financial advisor who meets with us regularly (at his office pre-pandemic, on Zoom since) and has been very helpful. We use the website for tracking our portfolio, moving money electronically, etc. If, for example, we need to move, say, $25k from Fidelity to a bank checking account, it takes about a minute on the website, and it will get done by next business day. If we have something more complicated, we phone, someone answers right away, and they find a way to do what we need. (As an example, several years ago I needed to do some fairly complex maneuvers to make cash flow work for a home purchase; Fidelity helped me get it done.) We get small perks like a no-fee debit card that we use for ATM withdrawals because Fidelity refunds us any fee an ATM charges (anywhere in the world). I don't know why other Yelp reviewers have had such unhappy experiences, but we have never run into bad service or a problem that couldn't get solved.

(Great, because that's the only reason I picked this company - was specifically looking for this service.) Actual: arrive at train station, call, call, call, no one answers except the big corporate office who says they can't connect us to this small office. Finally take a cab there with toddler in tow and hear this from the lady who processed the rental: "Pick up? No we don't ever do pick ups here." Car itself was brand new, clean and ran well. Crappy toddler carseat but they always are. Guy was nice enough to help me install it even though he insisted that they don't usually do this. Return at alternate location (for an extra fee, to Logan airport) was smooth, although guy said: "I'm unable to give you a receipt right now. We'll have to email you. 24 hrs later, still no email. I have no idea what we were charged and if it matched the initial price they gave us. Sooo, car was fine but customer service felt like lots of lies and runarounds. We'll look for a different rental service next time.

Last night of vacation, car would not start....called Hertz's emergency road side service - long story short, 4 hours later and no service came! We were hung up on 3 times, waited 4 hours to be abandoned by Hertz! We prepaid our reservation to be told "pre payments can not be refunded" !!!! The best Hertz can do is add 750 points (= 1 day rental) to our account for next time! According to their records "ERS called you back and you did not answer" - we were at their mercy and we aren't going to answer their phone? According to Hertz, they mechanically review all cars before they are put in the lot, yet Hertz's manager tells us "the previous customer did not let us know the problems, so we just washed and buffed the car and put it on the lot"!!!! I think you get the picture of our experience - DO NOT PREPAY, don't count on their emergency roadside service and be prepared to be lied to and end up with absolutely nothing but aggravation from Hertz!
