Last year I got hit with a $2,000 bill for very little work. I protested they agreed that it was excessive and they would take care of all the issues next year. Fast forward to this year, both tax professionals I work with from the year before have left the firm and I got hit with a $2,100 bill for something I could now handle on my own with HR Block for under $200. When confronting them with the bill their response was basically that they don't care. When I said that I wished to terminate my relationship with them the response was simply "ok, call us if you need anything."
