I had been in contact with Donny (the owner) for 3-4 days prior to my wife and I making the 13 hour drive to patronize his business Capitol Cycle in Macon, GA. I specifically asked Donny after we had settled and agreed upon all the financial numbers that if he could please have ALL PAPERWORK and whatever various etc. sale items that would be needed to finalized and complete the sale be as ready and as prepared as possible since we had a very long trip ahead of us to go back home after making the purchase. After showing up and simply testing the Stark out by riding very cautiously and carefully around the parking lot everything for the most part seemed to be in order. Except i did immediately notice that they hadn't yet attached a temporary state legal identification plate to the license plate holder to make it officially temporarily road legal until i received the MSO from the manufacturer to then be able to go down to my local county DMV and get my permanent plate and registration as well as provide them proof of insurance on the motorcycle with whoever your insurer happens to be. I asked again about why they had still not issued me a temp. tag for the bike as I would ABSOLUTELY be needing one as I only intend to ride it in the public road wash in my home town. Donny my salesman said "oh let me go take care of that for you" I of course thought great once he gets that bolted in when can surely get out of your hair and on our way. I walked outside immediately notice simply company branded Capitol Cycle vanity plate with absolutely no numbers or letters on it making it seem very suspect and it just had a simple hand written date 30 days out from that date. I said to myself and my wife that doesn't look legit however after making the full and complete payment everyone couldn't shove us out the door fast enough! They went from we're all a family here! Kinda attitude to GTFO we have what we need from you already we have better things to do now. So i didn't even have time to question for a 3rd time now to David or Donny that there supposedly temporarily legit temporary tag doesn't look very official and to me looks like it could possibly get me in trouble. However I said to myself they do this as a profession day in and day out, they surely know the law when it comes to these things more so than me. They surely wouldn't set me up for failure with anything that's illegal and/or not legitimate. They surely wouldn't allow someone to make a purchase and me away knowingly having tried to save themselves the costs of issuing a fully legitimate and legal state approved temporary 30 day license plate. "No they wouldn't do that" boy oh boy did i soon find out the things dealers will do to cut costs and further drive up profit margins. On my very first ride within 2 miles of getting on my towns main hwy through the city I was pulled over and all hell broke loose. The cop immediately approached me and asked me who hell I thought i was driving on a public roadway with a completely fraudulent/illegal plate! And I should know better than to try and screw the system I gasped and said I literally bought it 3 days ago and the dealer issued me that plate right there you see bolted on back of the bike as my supposed temporary street legal tag that's supposed to be good for 30 days or until i receive all the proper documentation to get it plated and registered with the state. 30 mins later still sitting on the side of the road in the blistering hot FL summer sun, the cops had my brand new (to me) Stark not only impounded and confiscated for 30 days but i was also hit and charged with thousands if $ in tickets/fines and towing yard fees storage fees. Capitol Cycles has chosen to completely ignore this issue and just avoid talking to me at all costs. They have now made the money and anything after the sale is made is clearly MY PROBLEM to deal with on my own.

Was told yes. Trailer over an hour away only to find one key not two so can't use one. Call and they say yep they forgot one. Ask them to get my keys sent to me by next weekend so we can use both sea doos. Next weekend comes and no keys. Said they mailed it when I called. Perhaps spend the $25 to overnight something since u messed up my $850 service. Obviously not the end of the world but missed three weekends on the water by chasing them around for my keys. ​​

Never had a bad experience. We walked in sales guy said he would be right with us. I asked about the raptor he said they didn't have any in the showroom but he could search the other stores he was sure they had them just not put together. So we see a can am spyder get totally side tracked and I say to my wife wanna get a can am she's like I don't know if I like them. They salesperson tells us all about them he was a cool guy very knowledgeable. After about 20min weighing pros and cons of having dirt bikes and 4 wheelers we decided to ride the can am. It's was fun it's a toy and it should be fun. The second sales person who helped us with test ride was also super cool both salesman were very low pressure and wanted to make sure you were happy with what you are buying. I appreciated that. I committed to buying…read morea motorcycle, communicated with them consistently (multiple times a day for 3-4 days) to inquire a little more about the bike I was interested in and to get some additional pictures since they only posted ~5 in their ad. The salesman took multiple hours just to get me a few pictures (some of which were the same as the ones in their online ad) and 2 days went by with an extremely slow exchange of messages. I also called and left multiple messages for return calls as well. Iltimately, after securing financing and insurance for the bike and committing to come pick it up a day sooner than I originally committed to, they called and told me they sold the bike. They never asked for a deposit. Never asked for a picture of the check. The manager called and said he apologized and that they would find me something equivalent. As if I would purchase anything from them. In an age where e-commerce is such a huge part of our economy, this place seems to be living in the stone ages. Their prices seem competitive if you ignore the mandatory re-furbishing fee that's nearly $1000. They calculated the tax wrong on my bill of sale (go figure) and because I had completely lost faith in their ability to read their own paperwork I went ahead and had the financing check made to the amount on the bill of sale and planned to deal with the discrepancy in person. My advice to anyone else- buying motorcycles and ATV's is supposed to be fun, not stressful. The positive reviews for this dealership undoubtedly capture the excitement of their customers taking delivery of their "toys", but this place is run like a circus. The business practices are shady and the "salesmen" are anything but that. I highly advise you look elsewhere for your next purchase.
