DO NOT USE PRIME STORAGE Here is my detailed experience,…read morewhich caused me to move out in just 1 week. It would have been sooner, but I work 12 hour week days, which made this waste of time even worse I booked a unit over the phone with the call center. She took my payment and said lease would be emailed to me. The only email I got was the payment receipt. Before moving into the until last Saturday, I also got an automated text from prime. Last Saturday morning I called in to get the info on my unit, since I never received it. The nice gentleman gave me my unit number 1137 and the emergency gate code. The office wasn't opened yet so I proceeded to unload the first truckload. On my way out, a female employee was entering the building. I told her that I needed to sign my lease but wad confused, the unit was smaller than I rented and there was no handle/lock on the door. She asked me to come back, so I did. I returned a little while later. The "owner" of the Location was there. He told me that the call center does not know what they are talking about, that the unit they assigned me should not have been on the market because it has maintenance issues, including not having a handle/lock. He told me not to worry, that he would get me into the 10x15 for the $70(ish) that they told me on the phone. The"owner" and the female employee helped me relocate my items to the 10x15. He offered me a ride back to the office, and proceeded to drive like a maniac, doing jerky back and forth, flying to the office... They asked me to come back in an hour to sign the lease. I went to Topton to get a truck load, returned, and unloaded into the unit. Then I went into the office to sign the lease. That is when they informed me that it would be $130. Obviously, I was dumbfounded. They bait and switched me twice. He then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to move my stuff AGAIN. I told him no, it was 2pm and I have been moving my things in the freezing cold since 8am, I also had to be at work in Allentown in less than 2 hours. I was clearly upset. He said I could come back the following Saturday to move my unit (again) After letting the situation settle in, I was not comfortable at all with the situation. I contacted my attorney and he filled me in on the federal bait and switch laws and advised how to proceed. I put in a call to cooperate and explained what happened on Monday, letting them know i had spoken to my attorney and requested resolve by Saturday or iwould be relocating. Soon after, the "owner" of the Quakertown location called me. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He asked me what my malfunction was...He would ask me a question, then proceed to talk over me. I ended up having to call the call center and let them know that he was not permitted to contact me any further. By Friday afternoon I had still not received a call back from cooperate, so I called for an update. I again was asked for a description of what happened but wasn't offered any resolve...just a promise for a call back. I advised again that I needed to know as soon as possible, because with no answer, I'd be relocating on Saturday. Well, Saturday afternoon came and prime corporate never contacted me. I fortunately found a much more professional facility with a temp controlled 10x10 for only $50. I removed my items from prime and called to let them know, and requested a refund for what I had paid. A photo of the "snow removal" at prime today for laughs, even worse that this is a "handicap" unit... TLDR- this storage facility is unprofessional, scammy, and run down. The person in charge is highly unprofessional and cooperate absolutely does not care how their facilities are being run.

I've gone into the office and called customer support 10+ times and just get the run around. Every time I call, they tell me someone will contact me and I never receive a call back. I asked to speak to a manager or the accounting dept and they will not provide that information. Do not use Prime Storage, they are not a trustworthy or reputable company!

To start there communication from ordering the part to returning phone calls or emails is a joke. If took almost 2 weeks to get a response after I had returned a spa pump they had sent me that was the wrong model. Not only did they not refund me the whole amount but they also made me pay out of pocket for the shipping of the pump back to their warehouse. They also claim the pump was returned in an " unsaleable condition", how is the pump unsaleable when all I did was open the box to see it was clearly the wrong pump?! Is this company selling bad parts? or is this company just full of crooks? I would not let any of my friends purchase anything from this company.

The unit failed after 2 years (exactly) and when I called the Pump Warehouse back to inquire about the process of getting a replacement, I was informed that it was a "pro-rated" warranty and the cost of a replacement unit was $300.00 plus shipping. Although it was clearly false advertising not listing "Pro-Rated", if we did assume it was pro rated, the cost at 20% per year would be $215.00 and given that their product failed, it would seem fair that they would ship to me. I called their distributor and they are sending me a brand new motor for $175 and have been very helpful through the process. Clearly I wouild not do business with the Pump Warehouse again given their poor customer service and it turns out you can buy the Septic/Motor products directly from their supplier at a lower price- Here is the direct supplier website- (lewiselectricmotor) they will treat you very nice.

I arrived at what I thought was 3pm but it turned out it was 3:58 when I pulled into the parking lot. We rang the bell and there was no answer. Then Marge the thin older woman with short gray hair and glasses told my family member she closed 15 minutes early. She would not let us in and then said she was with a customer and shut the door in my families face. When I went up to speak to her and ask her why she wouldn't let us in I couldn't hear her because she didn't even have the curtesy to open the door. Instead she kept the door closed and kept speaking which was inaudible to me. Then she put four fingers up to which I put up 3. Then I thought I heard her say do you want me to call the police? Then she brought out her phone That showed 4:01. She then proceeded talking to her supposed customer, who I have seen previously picking her up and dropping her off. I left and parked at the corner to decipher what to do after a two hour drive there. I was looking up laundromats nearby when thought to look and see the times posted because I thought they changed them. When I noticed it was 4:30, Marge would not allow me to unload my items which would have taken 15 minutes but she had no problem with the woman dropping her off and picking her up being there until 4:30 and after. I parked in the parking lot to call the owner and speak to her about the way I was treated and ended up leaving a message. As I was passing down towards the laundromat a police car headed down towards the storage facility. Marge indeed called the police on me for trying to go to my storage while being ethnic and dark skinned. Paying $120 dollars in cash the day prior. Adding to my payment thus far of $5000 almost for the last three almost four years. This woman pulled a epic racist card and called the police on me. So after having been at my storage about five times in three almost four years and almost $5000 dollars this is how I was treated by Marge. I would love a response from the owner on how my money is good enough to take but my presence in their parking lot while using my gps isn't. I've never had an issue at this storage place and I was absolutely stunned and disgusted by this woman's behavior. Which was uncalled for racist and ignorant.
