This place is usually very good, but can be a hit or miss. The bobas are always made well, but sometimes I feel like they are understaffed and the wait is incredibly long. Often times there have been more than one worker, but the lady in the front is managing everything while the person in the back appears to be sitting there. Not chewy, just deliciously popping in your mouth with a great dragon fruit taste. My first time here and my boba craving was satisfied! I cannot speak for the juiced drinks, but the seem to be rather popular. The staff here was SO NICE and very helpful! I had the house panda green milk tea with boba and the house oolong milk tea with herbal jelly. In my opinion both had great flavor, however I should have asked for 50-25% sweet rather than keeping it at 100% sweet. The herbal jelly is made in-house and it tasted wonderful! The boba had very good texture, but it lacked "flavor". I ordered a medium spice popcorn chicken and it was rather lackluster. The chicken was chewy and had more breading than actual meat. They also do not offer you sweet chili sauce or other sauces with the chicken - as many boba houses do in CA. Overall, I would come back to get a drink here, but pass on the chicken. read more

Definitely come here if you are craving authentic Boba drinks. We visited from California and within a week span we came here three times! Teresa Is super friendly and gave us awesome recommendations! We loved the popcorn chicken and the fried chicken wings. They were perfectly crispy and not too salty. There is a huge selection of drink options, we some of our favorites was the wintermelon oolong milk tea, the Thai tea, the Fresh passion fruit tea and the mango green tea with the mango foam! I liked that we can can adjust sweetness, as per everyone likes. There are even soy options, soy milk, oat milk and even almond milk. This boba location is so cute. I wish it was here when I used to work in the same plaza during my college days. I would have been here practically everyday. There are plenty of drink selections with add ins such as boba and herbal jelly. I am glad that I have now updated my drinks from boba to herbal jelly. The drinks did not disappoint. I believe I got the milk green tea. It wasn't too sweet or bitter. Quite a pleasant taste. I was happy that they had durian cake. It is hard to find durian desserts and pastries in Colorado since most people are repulsed by the smell but I love it and I am glad to say that the durian cake was yummy. I honestly tried very hard to like tbaar because my friends all love it, but there really is nothing special about it. I've been to both locations the Aurora location and Denver location. The Denver location is definitely by far way better. The asethics of the shop had me memorized it really speaks to college students and that is admirable. I like the Denver location more simply because the feel of the environment. The menu is larger and the owner was quite nice. She was very sweet and got my drink out quickly. I liked that she pre-warned me that she filled it to the top and to be careful or it'll spill everywhere I got the oolong milk tea. It was a little too sweet for my liking, my fault for not asking for it to be less sweet. Again nothing outstanding about it. Maybe because I like stronger teas all I could taste was milk and sugar. Again I've tried really hard to like tbaar, but the teas are not to my liking. If I'm ever in the DU area I will definitely come back to try their ROLLED ice cream it look so appealing, perfect for summer. Really good milk tea with great flavor! I got a split cup with honeydew and vanilla milk tea, both with lychee jelly. They have a very large variety of drinks, so I would recommend checking out their menu online before arriving at the shop. I was in the mood for milk tea more than juice that night, so I ordered the Green milk tea with herbal jelly and aloe. They offer all sorts of different toppings you can add to your drink. My drink came out to about $5 with the 2 toppings, which is about average for a large. As I took my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised by the strong taste of green tea since usually it's a very subtle flavor. I really enjoyed the herbal jelly with the green tea because it definitely enhances the natural flavors of the tea. The aloe was ok, I think I'd replace it with something different. The shop itself is very cute with their little stools and square tables that make it very game board friendly. I enjoy their decor and I like that they have a timeline of their shops on one wall. I ordered a vanilla milk tea both times and it tastes like a strange herbal milkshake that is less thick and obviously, no cream. She gives off the aggressively loving Asian mom vibe, super warm, welcoming, inviting, and calls everyone "honey" What sets this Tbaar apart from the one that used to be in Aurora is that here they are not afraid to innovate. Their Taiwanese style popcorn chicken is amazing, a bit spicy though (I'm used to medium spice being like a 3 or 4/10, but this was 5 or 6/10 spice.) They've also expanded their menu! They've included traditional classics like a Hokkaido style milk tea, oolong, and drinks such as yogurt flavor and slushes, as well as flavors that appeal to newcomers to boba such as mocha and Oreo. I'm docking one star for the guy cashier, who has got more of a cold, aloof demeanor. The difference between him and the lady are stark, though the drink quality does not change between them. (The art on the walls are entertaining during the wait for drinks.) We got the matcha latte with boba and amazing lemonade with boba- both iced.
