I am what you would call a very tough cause. The hardest types of issues paired with a very stubborn, stuck mind. Not responsive to medications and truly a trapped person. I had seen many therapists before and they would either ghost me or try and force me back on medications because nobody knew how to help me. I learned to live and survive with my circumstances, but I was trapped and suffering. Wasting my youth and life away. Heidi was willing to see me, made herself quickly available to see me right away when I had reached out to her. I can't put it to exact words but she is unlike anyone else in this industry. There is NOTHING cookie cutter about her she is extremely intelligent and with literally only a few visits she left an impression on me that not any family member, friend, or professional could ever manage to push my mind. But she did, somehow she did the impossible and oh my god. I live a life now. I don't deal with crippling anxiety anymore, I've been losing weight I've been going out and I've been working. She is truly the master of her craft. She is honest, is she is genuine, and she is caring. I thought I was going to waste my life, I had no drive and she just knew what to say. She understands she gets it, she truly understands the mind. If you're like me where medications and all sorts of specialists simply cannot help. She is the best choice. She saved my life and because of her I have the drive and will to achieve my goals and hopes in life. If you're not on the right track, she will help you get there. Whatever doubts and struggles you have believe me she will help you get there. She is a gem and this world is blessed to have her, I just can't tell you how my perspective and will has changed for the better. I broke out of my depressive habits, got over my weed addiction, broke out of my anxiety loop, attained my drive for success again, and started my weight loss journey. Much time has passed and my life is, it's perfect, it's everything I've wanted for myself. If you need help, listen to my words, she will help. She cares, truly. And I will forever be grateful to have crossed paths with her. I hate that I can only leave five stars. Thank you Heidi, thank you for giving me a hope that nobody could ever give me. read more

Dr. Heidi Taylor provided exceptional supervised visitation during a highly sensitive time for my family. By remaining strictly neutral, clearly communicating the rules beforehand, and prioritizing my child's physical and emotional well-being, she fully demonstrated her adherence to court standards. She managed all custody exchanges punctually and smoothly, maintained a detailed visitation log, and subtly stayed in the background to facilitate natural parent-child bonding. For anyone seeking a reliable, professional partner to navigate this complex legal process, I highly recommend her services. read more

There are not enough positive words to explain Heidi Taylor. Before her I saw a therapist for almost 7 years, and Heidi I have seen for about two months. She has helped me more in two months than in the seven years I was with the other therapist. She is so down to earth, so relatable, so articulate. She is an amazing person. she has helped me tremendously with my grief pertaining to my daughter who passed eight years ago. But also has helped me in so many other areas of my life. I so encourage you to give her a try. read more

Dr. Taylor came highly recommended from another therapist I had reached out to for supervised visitation and I'm so glad I reached out to her. The supervised visitation process in the case of child abuse can be complicated and stressful for a child, but Dr. Taylor spent time establishing trust with my son and always ensured he was her main focus. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the outcome of the visits. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor. read more

Heidi is super friendly and handled my daughter with care. My daughter has autism and I was worried about being able to trust someone for professionally supervised visitation. I was able to meet Heidi and also bring my daughter around her before any visitations to see how my daughter would react. Immediately Heidi gave me a sense that my daughter would be secure as she has lots of background with people with autism. She was always on time and always made my daughter and I feel comfortable and confident before, during and after a visitation. I would recommend Heidi to anyone looking for someone to professionally supervise their kiddo, she is more than professional and I felt like I could trust he without a doubt. read more

I wish I would have had Dr. Taylor as our therapist sooner!! My relationship with my daughter has drastically improved and we are so much closer. Heidi, was a consummate professional who helped me transition my four children all siblings that came to me as a family member to keep the children from having to enter the foster care system. I voluntarily sought out a therapist to help them with the trauma of being removed from the only home they were accustomed to. Heidi was not only well received by the children. She, had the skill to put them at ease through the various methods she used with each of the children. It also helped me better understand how the children would respond and react to their behavior. Heidi is also good at follow through. I highly recommend Heidi. read more

I meet my son with Heidi Taylor (HT) ONLY on WEEKENDS (Sat or Sun) at the Richmond Chiropractic (Dr. Zuckerman's Office when it is closed for business on weekends - 1323 Newbury Rd, Suite #107, Newbury Park). HT uses it for her business after hours or weekends. I saw my son with her 3x for 10 to 20 minutes each yet she charged me for for whole HOUR every visit. IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY and NO Compassion. On Weekends, the entire office building is closed and there is absolutely NO Foot Traffic or any type of traffic. On 12/7/24 (Sat), I saw my son for 10 mins, and had taken two Gold Medals (24 kt) to show them to him to encourage him to study hard and when he attends a good University, he would have earned it. Heidi saw them too. When I left the office in a hurry, either they fell out of my pocket around the chair I was sitting on or I left it on the chair/table. After leaving office, I walked straight to my car and drove home. When I reached home, while emptying my pockets I didn't find them, so I checked my car 3X before driving back to the office to traced the path I walked to my car. Since there is no Foot Traffic in the office Building parking lot, if I had dropped it, I would have found it. I didn't find them so, I TEXT Heidi about "me going back to the office tracing my footsteps". She Texted a "THUMBS DWON" to my driving back to the office & tracing my steps. I was 100% certain that I had left them in the office where I was sitting so the Next Day (Sun) I drove to the office at 8:15 AM before she comes to see her client at 8:30 AM. I walked in the office to look for it again but they weren't there. On 12/07/24, she left the office after me and I am 1000% certain that Medals were left in the office. She could have done the "RIGHT Thing" by returning back to me to show her professionalism and honesty. But, this expectation was not met. Below I have attached the Text communication with Heidi Taylor. read more

I have been working with Dr. Taylor for about a month (3 sessions) for 1:1 therapy, and every session has been extremely productive. I found Dr. Taylor on Psychology Today (after scouring profiles for someone I felt might be the right fit) and reached out with an email, Dr. Taylor responded promptly and has been wonderful to engage with ever since. While we have just scratched the surface on some of the issues I am battling, I feel like I am in a safe space and that she genuinely cares about my thoughts and opinions. Dr. Taylor has been an absolutely precious find. In my custody battle regarding my youngest son, she has been very fair and neutral in managing two parents who don't care much for each other AND has connected solidly with the son we have in common. He loves her being around and my ex is very comfortable when Dr. Taylor is around too. It is also nice to be able to ask my son to save certain questions to discuss when she is there, being a licensed psychologist. That is a huge benefit. Also, Dr. Taylor is very timely in communicating, very clear about how to structure my time with my son and always does what she says she will do. Brett read more

I love Dr. Taylor! She is great! We can relate due to some losses we have encountered in life. I look forward to seeing her every week and always feel better after talking with her. Thank you Heidi you rock!! read more

During the time I was a female non-custodial parent, many of the court ordered visits with my special needs daughter, Emily, were cancelled due to the unavailability of our previous professional supervisor. Faced with the daunting task of finding a "mutually agreeable" replacement professional supervisor with greater availability including holiday visits, I began my search through many websites and phone calls. I thank G-D every day that Heidi answered my call! Heidi is prompt, bright, kind, non-judgemental and possesses a calmness that proved especially important during visits with Emily. Emily had Rett's syndrome and was Non-verbal. Emily's brain and little body mostly needed a calm environment to decompress, sometimes just sleeping in my arms for most of the visit, other times watching the birds in the backyard and breeze blowing the leaves in the trees. I will be forever grateful for Heidi's facilitation of the precious visit time with my special needs daughter who passed away unexpectedly last summer. Heidi is an invaluable asset to those families that require either temporary or long-term supervised visitation and always puts the child's needs first. Gina D read more

Having been in one of the most difficult and horrible situations in my adult life , getting railroaded by my ex and a inexperienced judge at the time, I got the book slapped on me which included several months of supervised visitation! Totally undeserved but had to live with the ruling for nearly 11 months. Heidi , was hands down the most caring , wonderful, warm human being I had ever met in this field! Not only was she a true professional and took pride and care in her work, but she had compassion , empathy, and was always willing to help me through this difficult time. My child loved her too. She allowed me the space to be with my daughter and kept enough distance so we could have as normal a session as possible. She put our visits above her own personal business and postponed some of her Sundays to accommodate my time and she never missed a visit , was always on time , and the big one in this business .. she wrote REAL NOTES !!!! Real accounting of our time and was always willing to present herself , her notes , and be present for us in court appearances too. Hands down Heidi was the best in class supervisor In the business ! A gem of a person , a total pro , fair and impartial throughout my whole process! Thanks to Heidi , I now have 50/50 custody again and my daughter and I are bonded stronger than ever. If you need a supervisor and find yourself in this situation, please do yourself a favor and call Heidi! read more

Unfortunately I had to deal with a false accusation and until the court threw the case out, I had to have supervised visitation with my kids. It can be a very humiliating thing as a parent to be forced to have someone else watch you with your kids like you've done something wrong when you haven't, and pay them to do it. But that was the lot I found myself and my attorney recommended Heidi to me. It was honestly one of the best decisions I could have made during this time. Absolutely worth the cost. Heidi is professional and well trained (I've heard horror stories about people just going with random people from the court list). She is fantastic with the kids, super accommodating when it comes to the schedule, flexible when changes need to be made and is so kind during what is a really hard season of life. She takes detailed notes during the visits and supplies a report afterwards for how the visits were which are worth their weight in gold. I cannot imagine going through this difficult time with a different supervisor. She really is the best in the area! read more
