Ask me what I don't love about Dr. Jay Fibus? Seriously,…read moreGOOD LUCK finding a therapist like him and his associates--I truly mean that with all the love in my heart, but read on if you've landed on this review and you're "shopping around" for a new therapist or were referred to him by someone. No joke, the guy is a freaking genius. Cambridge graduate and has applied the most unique skills in our therapy sessions. I loved meeting in his office and never thought I would be okay with zooming into our sessions because of the pandemic, but oh my gosh--they've AWESOME because of how vulnerable I can still be from the comfort of my own home. In a nutshell, my husband left my son and me, almost losing my job, my home, and custody of my son (prior marriage). Dr. Fibus not only helped me pick up the ashes of where my life was but he sat in the trenches with me as I was sitting in the dung. Let's just say the depression of co-dependency was far too much and I didn't reach self-care and healthy until I opened up and got real with him. He then helped me walk through the dark rooms of my mind which I had vowed to never let anyone in. He held my hand metaphorically and walked me up the stairs to life's reality so I could sing again from the mountaintops. Therapy takes time and unless you are thirsty for it, don't bother. It'll be a waste of everyone's time, treasures, and skilled talent. But when you do decide that your life has gotten to a point where it's led you to this review then understand this of yourself, it's time to make the call and I hope it's to Dr. Fibus. I was so fearful of going because I didn't want anyone to see the hurts, but in doing so, I've gained all that is good back into my life and then some and they're here to stay. I will never say it's easy, never. It takes mental work and your willingness to open up. It's NOT easy. It's the weak that say therapy is a bunch of crap. To that, I say hogwash! It takes so much work to rewire a marriage, a relationship or your mind. So again, unless you're willing to be serious, don't bother. Dr. Fibus gave me permission to self-reflect on the trials and circumstances that led to the healing of the negative and ugly scars of my life. He did it such a funny and gentle way that I never imagined in a million years I would have the perspective I do about those moments. I have learned to embrace them all and allowed myself to finally become more vulnerable and a feeler in my life. I didn't realize the techniques because they came naturally to our conversations and nothing about it was awkward like I had envisioned they would be when "sitting in a therapy session." My life was super far from being screwed up--I just had to learn the fabric of my own DNA and realized in time that life, indeed, is beautiful. He's respectful of both genders and gave me security and compassion when my husband left. He never made it awkward when I would sit for a while and lament and just cry out. He was above reproach and respectful to my ex when he made that decision to stay focused on my journey without being biased. When I ask him a question he is so direct but with a light hearted charm that made me go back out into the world and reestablish my life and identity. He's taught me what healthy boundaries are and worked with me on the darkest days of my depression. He's helped my son out in a few sessions along with his associate who my son just adores and can call up at any moment knowing if he needs an outlet, they are there for him. It got really rough when his step dad had just walked out me but on him too. I have learned that being a successful single mom can be messy, difficult, and imperfect but that it can also be organized, easy, and perfect on some days. I see life as progressive where as before I was looking for perfection; felt I was letting down others; or would anger easily if the person I was co-dependent on would "let me down." The struggles were real and now they're struggles that are super manageable. He's referenced reading material that I thrive at when given quiet moments to read. He taught me that audible books on the way to work can re-wire my brain if I lend myself 20 minutes just to work on myself daily. I take compliments and see the beauty of my journey and how far I have come. I see all of the beauty and thrive from the scars to know that each one them has a story for someone to hear them at the right moment. With all the experiences I've had, I can relate to just about anyone where as before I wanted to depend on a person to make me happy and hide from the world. Don't even overthink it, pick up the phone and just make that appointment, I promise you--you will NOT be disappointed!

For someone with such experience and expertise, she's extremely down-to-earth and approachable. I came to Dr. Vause at a time of change in my life (at work, with family, and in my relationships), and my stress was surging. My depression and anxiety levels were becoming hard to manage, and I was turning to drugs and alcohol to cope. Dr. Vause helped me get through it. In addition to counseling, she guided me through some challenging but needed adjustments to my medication regimen. Every med suggestion was explained clearly, Dr. Vause answered all of my questions, and I knew what to expect in terms of effects and side-effects. I never felt as if pills were just being pushed my way; she really wanted me to participate in my own treatment and understand her reasoning. In addition to the excellent medication recommendations and adjustments, she is a wonderful therapist. Since seeing her, I have felt much better, and have experienced real improvements in my life. Her combination of innate sensitivity, compassion, and deep medical expertise is quite rare. I feel completely comfortable and secure in this relationship, and am fortunate to have found this exceptional doctor. I know I am cared for as a whole person, not just a bundle of problems, and there's nothing I hesitate to talk to Dr. Vause about. Having her in my life is itself therapeutic and a source of strength for me. Thank you Dr. Vause!

I asked for a referral (virtually every doctor has at least one other doctor they refer patients to) but she had NONE. She seemed completely unapologetic and I felt like I was simply wasting her time and she just wanted me to hang up. Obviously since she has no openings for new clients there is no harm to her business by posting this...only saving others from wasting their time. I am suicidal and need a doctor asap. But I don't need a doctor that lacks compassion and has no interest to help unless you happen to be an existing patient.

I ended up here and I am glad I did! After a few short months of seeing Dr. Naim, I was fine. More…read morethan fine actually. And it's now been a year! I dealt with anxiety for years off and on. I went on and off medication. I spent years seeing therapists. So many ups and downs. One day the anxiety escalated tremendously to the point where I couldn't sleep. I was seriously spiraling out of control and couldn't even work. My usual psychiatrist couldn't see me for 3 months. I know had I gotten into see him, it would just be a 20 minute appointment and more medication. My primary care doctor put me on Xanax and Ambien as a temporary fix. It was like putting a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound. A trusted friend recommended Hope Psychiatry and said there was no one better. When I called and explained my situation, I was seen within 24 hours. The intake paperwork is extremely thorough, more thorough than anything I've ever seen. They do not take insurance and I've come to discover that the people that are really good typically do not take insurance. At our first meeting, I started rambling and would have gone on for hours. Dr. Naim stopped me after 20 minutes and said he knew exactly what the issue was and how to resolve it. He said when he was done with me my issues would be gone. He slowly transitioned me off of the Xanax and Ambien. He is not anti-medication. I used an herbal tea to sleep and he prescribed something else that was non-habit forming for use as needed. He said the goal was for me not to need medication anymore but if I did need it, he would prescribe it. Fast forward a month, it was challenging to go through everything with him. At one point things were pretty bad and he said it was the last gasp of my issues getting out. Turned out, he was right. I started improving every week. About 3 months after first seeing him, I was done. It's now been one year. I've had no relapses. I have no anxiety. I'm having to deal with more challenging situations in life but it doesn't affect me anymore. I have a great perspective and I'm all better. I know I'm able to tackle just about anything. I've also been off the medication for a year now. So instead of just masking my problems, he actually addressed my issues. What a concept. Dr. Naim and his staff are incredibly kind. I just wish I hadn't spent years and years wasting my time trying to get help elsewhere. He was able to resolve my issues so quickly and completely. Highly recommended!

Dr. Chester conducted my husband's autism spectrum disorder evaluation, and we were very satisfied…read morewith the entire process. His approach was thorough, professional, and thoughtful from start to finish. The evaluation consisted of three parts: an intake session with both of us, comprehensive testing, and a follow-up appointment to review the results. What especially impressed us was that, before reaching his conclusions, Dr. Chester took the time to speak with both our couples therapist and my husband's individual therapist to gain a more complete understanding of his history and functioning. That level of collaboration gave us great confidence in the accuracy and thoughtfulness of the evaluation. During the feedback session, Dr. Chester clearly explained the findings, answered our questions, and recommended practical next steps. We also received a detailed written report that has been invaluable for our own understanding and will be useful for our therapists as well. We appreciated the structured, comprehensive approach and felt that the evaluation was conducted with great care and expertise. We would highly recommend Dr. Chester to anyone seeking an autism spectrum evaluation.

He truly took the time to get to know my son and see him as a whole person--not just a diagnosis. The assessment process was so engaging that my son actually thought he would be seeing Dr. Chester weekly for therapy! Dr. Chester also took the time to review the entire assessment with me, carefully explaining each section and what the results meant. His evaluation was so comprehensive that when I called an IEP meeting, my son was able to receive an additional service based on the findings. Of course, every case is different, but this outcome shows the impact of Dr. Chester's exceptional work. My son still talks about him and asks for him every week. I truly wish Dr. Chester offered therapy as well--he made such a positive difference for my son. Thank you so much, Dr. Chester!. Logan and Mom

The work we've done together allowed me to reconcile my past, learn from my life experiences, and grow. In addition, Uri and I worked together with the IPEC therapy method to overcome certain physical issues I was dealing with (massive hair loss, hemeroids, over weight). Uri is a professional in the utmost sense of the word. His services may not be cheap, but his time is worth every penny, because he just understands you, and is not afraid to dig deep to get to the root cause of issues, to help you solve them forever. Karine saved my life…read more I know this sounds dramatic but if you're really interested in changing your life please read on. I started seeing Karine about 6 years ago when she first opened her private practice. I was in one of the darkest places in my life. I had horrific intrusive thoughts, horrible anxiety, terrible depression and so on. I barely graduated high school because I was scared of being in class. I couldn't go on freeways, I was unmotivated, I thought life was getting pointless and was even having thoughts that nobody should ever have in their life. Prior to Karine I've been to many therapists and a couple of psychiatrists. Now I know there are many great therapists out there but the ones I experienced didn't seem to genuinely care, or they didn't know how to tackle my problem. That was never the case with Karine. Coming to Karine felt (and still does) feel like I'm taking to a family member. She GENUINELY cares about your life. She cries with me, she laughs with me, she remembers every detail of our previous conversations, and she will take your phone calls during the day if you need an extra boost. I started going to Karine as a boy who was scared of life and didn't know where I was headed. I was sure I was going to be "disabled" forever, my mom would complain that I didn't even have $2 to go to Taco Bell. It was a lot of work, and there where a lot of good and bad moments on my journey but now I'm a changed man. I have my own career, make over 6 figures, know how to deal with my emotions, and I even took a trip to Hawaii recently!! To give you an idea just thinking about driving in the freeway terrified me. This is more of a thank you to Karine. I want to thank you public ally for everything you have done for me. I want to thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. I want to thank you for always being there for me and genuinely having my best interests at heart. If anybody is still reading this and you feel like you need help in life, whether it be you feel anxious or even if you just feel lost, please do yourself a favor and see Karine. I promise it will be worth it.
