I own a small tent rental business in central Maine. Every year for the last several years I have taken my tents here to get them cleaned. something was different this year when I picked them up after the cleaning...somehow 3 of my tents went missing. I know what inventory I sent to them, but 3 of my very important pieces went missing. i never have got them back and I think something is shady with this outfit. So I would tell anyone don't ever use this outfit. They are not honest and I know that they know where my tents are. Be very cautious in using them. My strong recommendation is stay far away from them. You can run a business like this and succeed long. read more

Worst place I've ever rented from. First of all they said they would be there around 10 am . Called at noon the man said should be there within 15 to 20 minutes. They showed up at 1. The inside and some of the outside of the tent was filthy ceiling was disgusting holes in the ceiling also the sides I spent extra for the windows were ripped . I ordered 10 tables they sent me 5 of the larger round and 6 smaller ones never told me . Which did me no good since I only had linens and decor for 10 so our guests were squished together . Tables were broken a few we had to have fixed in order to even get them to stand up and we hoped they wouldn't fall on any of our guests . They were old old wooden tables holes gouged through most of the tops which you could see throught the tablecloths. Every chair had to be scrubbed not just wiped off. Did not get the right dance floor and the one they sent had big gouges in parts of it . I told them girl who was helping set up i was not happy with how dirty and ripped the tent was . She was just in a hurry for me to sign the paper ap she could leave . We were 2hours away from the store or I'd have gone in. I called left a message never heard a thing back. I called again monday and talked to a man who said he would have the owner call me still have not heard a word from them. Very unprofessional place. I would never rent anything from this place again thousands of dollars for basically old broken dirty stuff. read more

Taylor Rental was so so so helpful in preparing for my wedding day. I am super impressed by the customer service and attention to detail. They helped me work well within by wedding budget to get everything I needed and a great price. A friend and I finally bit the bullet and rented a small excavator recently for a week to accomplish multiple projects around our houses. Since we work week days we picked it up saturday ran it that afternoon... it ran great. Sunday started right up but wouldnt operate properly, so we got no work done the rest of the weekend. Called first thing Monday, they sent someone out...couldnt be fixed and had to bring another machine out. They were accomodating with the loss of use time and agreed to give us Mon and Tuesday as compensation. We were pleased. While using the machine Friday a track came off, we called them at 3;30pm explained the failure and the need to have it fixed along with the urgent need to have it operational esp because we lost half of last weekend and could not afford to lose it ALL weekend. They said they couldnt send anyone til Monday. When they came to pick up the machine the employee asked my friend if we wanted to keep it for a couple more days and he explained that we both have work but we would like to have use of it on an upcoming weekend when we are both available. The employee stated "thats not a problem" I called Bangor Taylor rental a couple days later to confirm that verbal agreement and they told me that it would not be possible. I asked to have the owner call me to work out an compromise... no call.. called again a couple days later and again asked for the owner to call. I feel completey let down and misled. read more

Don't risk your special day with this company. They were 2 1/2 hours late arriving to set up our tent and never called. My daughter, the maid of honor, missed the rehearsal dinner waiting for them. The morning of the wedding we set up 100 white chairs, and they were all filthy -- really filthy, with big black handprints -- and it took 2 of us an hour with Clorox wipes to make them presentable. When I called the office and told them this, they very reluctantly agreed that they should have called when they were late and the chairs shouldn't have been dirty. That was it.
