used to work here, but I was abruptly terminated sadly. I loved what I did and I genuinely loved being of service to the clients of Taylor Recovery. I was done wrong by the director Kimberly Isaac. One night she called me and asked me to leave the property because I was not supposed to be at work one night, or so she thought. She asked me if I needed to be drug tested because she assumed I showed up on the wrong day. I quickly sent her a screenshot of my schedule she made and she called back and claimed she was at the ER dealing with family. She stated she made a mistake but the damage was already done. I left like she asked me and later that night she sent a text and an email stating I was terminated. I was terminated the same day she asked me if I needed to be drug tested. I know I was fired to prevent having an investigation successfully completed. I have all the screenshots with proof and I sent them to HR. I still have yet to receive the proof, write-up, time, and date of the alleged person that I showed unprofessionalism. Steven H. (human resources) also stated that I was terminated due to an unauthorized schedule change and unexcused absences. I requested the information on that and never got a reply. Please believe the bad reviews on Google. They are true. The turnover is high because management is dirty. When I first started working there I was asked to write a good review by Kimberly. And I did. But I took it down. There are reviews from former and current clients which were done because they were asked to do it. Including the review about Meagan from JV. She told him to do it. I would suggest to not work for this company. I wouldn't even suggest bringing your loved one here if you want honesty, integrity, and genuine love and compassion from these people to your loved one. Let's first talk about the work environment.#1 The lines are blurred in the roles here at Taylor. There is no constant person in charge, people may have a title but their roles and responsibilities change daily. #2 schedules are verbally communicated. There are no posted papers in the office with a schedule, no schedule in an app, nor a written schedule for all to see. Schedules are verbal and this leads to unwanted shifts, employees not being prepared and employees being confused causing stress and a hostile workplace. #3 Employees are distributing medication without being certified licensed, nor being supervised, and proper audits are not being done and noted. Now let's get to the good part. If your loved one is a heroin/fentanyl/opiate addict and they come in distressed, Kimberly Isaac has a stash of Suboxone she has tucked away when clients are "on edge" She will distribute them or have Meagan, the "med tech" give it to them. Parents, or loved ones of addicts, do you want to send your loved one to a place that enables their use so that they can collect on your insurance? Number I know you are reading this and just know God sees everything and he will deal with you because you know what you did. And I hope one day someone shows you how you have tested me and maybe you will feel it. You are a liar, a terrible liar at that, confrontational, and should not be in the business of helping other people. You genuinely don't have the heart for it. You are cold and soulless and with that being said I would never want to be around you or have anything to do with you ever again. How would you feel if someone did your daughter how you did me? Run from this facility. Taylor is responsible for my son's death ! I put my son in this facility.After 30 Days he went to Sober Living in drug neighborhood. after they kicked him out for relapse. I tried to get help. I tried to ask for help. Noone returned my calls and my son died 10 days later. My son had good Insurance and they insisted he go back to Sugarland facility because they make a lot more money. He had a job and needed to work. If this review is for the Sugarland location, then I'm in the right spot. ANYONE who is struggling with addiction should definitely consider this place if wanting to change your life! The building is beautiful & very clean, staff is wonderful, & they actually care about everyone who is serious about making a change for the better. My son googled rehabs & this was one of the 1st he came across. I don't know what made him feel it was time, but I was so happy that Taylor Recovery Center in Sugarland immediately sent an Uber to come pick my baby up! The food was phenomenal & he was well taken care of. Daily groups set the wheels in motion for helping him change his life after 7 years of living in the streets, TDC, & mental facilities. He completed his 40 days & has since been moved to Sober Living. And Tyler Recovery Sober Living makes sure everyone stays clean. If not, back to Tyler Recovery Center in Sugarland you goooo!!! This place has really saved my life. Looking back on how deep in my addiction I was, sometimes I can't believe I made it out. Taylor has given me hope for a new life, and I feel they have always been there for me. It's like a second family that looks out for you, and does the best for you& your life. Everyone here has helped me, Court, John, Casey, all the techs, and the counselors made an impact on my life. You have an apartment with roommates, you can bring your animals, they help with rides, groups during the day, and we also do sober outings. We do kickball, bowling, movies, and the beach. I appreciate them so much, and I don't know where I'd be without them. If I didn't come here, I think I'd be dead, and they've helped pick me up every time. Thank you for everything. read more

In addition to my previous review, people should know that for the 2 weeks I was there, they did NOTHING to step me down off opiates and continued dosing me with them the WHOLE time! I had to go to another rehab 5 states away for them to be taken away from me! What the hell? Why go to detox if not to detox!? read more

One manager "Jessica" told me she went through the medical records because she was curious about my trauma and what I said in therapy and drug test results. She also did this for ALL other employees working there. Clearly taking advantage of her position. I was bullied by several staff members Jessica, Stanton, counselors, nurses. Theresa would constantly wake me from sleep. Thus making me work sleep deprived for months. I was promised a raise from Courtney the whole time. He would also harass me like the clients would. He let clients sexually assault me also and give them no consequences. Instead he would high five them. My assets were grabbed, I was dragged down the hallway to a room, and I was attacked with a needle in a girls hand. All these things happened and I was forced to be around these people right after. Refusing to let me go home after. Worst was the fact that they denied me counseling after finding a dead kid in bed who had been dead for 6-7 hours. Instead, Steve Houseworth who is in prison told me "you smelt it, you dealt it". When I signed up to go back to school, they tried to get me to drop out after my first semester back. The manager, the owners, whomever, they did not like me trying to better myself on MY own time. They accused of things that did not happen, thus allowing me to get unemployment. They're lucky I haven't decided to get an attorney involved yet. Although they should be responsible for the extra trauma added to my life. This place made me terrified that a client was going to attack me. The day before I left a client threatened to assault and kill me. But nobody cared they just care about making money and going to Hawaii. read more

Taylor saved my life. Court Nichols, John Tarisi, Jessica Hill and all of the staff have become like family to me. I have almost 6 months clean and sober and I wouldn't have been able to do this without Taylor. They're pet friendly, they offer PHP, IOP and outpatient. Their facilities at Sugarland, Hockley and Lavender Street all have their own chef so food is provided. We have activities on the weekends and they have all become like a family to me. Even through Covid and this years brutal snowstorm we continued to have groups, meetings and they staff really took care of us when we've been vulnerable. Thank you guys (and girls) for everything you've done for us and please continue to help other addicts!! If you REALLY want to get clean, this is a great place to be!! This place is the most backwards facility I've ever been through. Staff is disrespectful and uncaring in addition to the way the staff continues to talk bad about clients IN FRONT of clients. Structureless mess and uncaring. The absolute worst place to come to to get genuine and loving recovery. Feels like high school all over again. I stayed at this facility for two months and it was the most perverted recovery experience I've ever come across. The facility and treatment program is designed to hussle money from the family members with loved one's struggling with addiction. They do not run a transitional living program as Kristi Taylor holds no desire for you to recover and leave the facility. There are residents who have lived there for years and are not encouraged by staff to reintegrate themselves into life or recovery. Treatment centers will inform you of how non-therapeutic and crooked this facility especially its owners are. There is virtually no successfully alumni who have left Taylor Recovery and retained any lasting sobriety. Clients consistently use drugs at the facility and some have even died on the property as a result of this drug usage. read more

My brother had been in and out of centers for 20 years before encountering this dump. He is now deceased. I will say that he emerged from this sham a completely different person. Other reviews are correct as my brother told me that drinking and drugs happened on the premises. Many of the friends that he met here have died. Court Nichols is a terrible counselor as he condoned and encouraged an affair. This place only cares about getting paid. Don't send your family here if you actually want them to recover. I've been at Taylor Recovery for about 5 Months, and the staff members here have done everything in their power to help me stay sober. Taylor Recovery has two nice vehicles to take us to three different AA/NA meetings a week, plus a meeting here on property. Four Councilors are here Monday through Friday which has helped tremendously, because you can schedule an appointment or just walk in if you are having a tough day. Zach, Taylor's chef, is here Monday-Friday cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, and will even cook big meals on holidays which made me feel at home when I didn't go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas day. The best thing, in my opinion, is the intensive patient groups that is with at least one counselor either in the morning or afternoon. Its helped me process some things about myself and my addiction. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a money grab. They did not do any therapeutic therapy for my husband. The facility is understaffed, and they are not qualified in what they claim according to an actual licensed therapist with years of experience. They isolate the patient from their family, and do not provide any family counseling. My husband had such a horrible experience that he would not even let me pick him up. His excuse for this is that he did not want to have any memories from this place. I called the facility multiple times to try to get information on setting up therapy after my husband was here, and no returned phone call. I would not want my loved one to go to this "rehab". It is more of a detox facility than anything, and thank GOD my husband is out of this place. Court never returned my calls once my husband was here and the insurance kicked in. He knew if he left, we'd be on the hook for the time he was there less than 30 days. UGH. I could go on and on. Please do your research before you pick a rehab facility. Make sure they provide actual therapy by a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. read more

I placed my son at Taylor Recovery after speaking with Court Nichols about my sons struggle with drug addiction. I was so confident this place would help him. Boy was I mistaken! The things that my son experienced and witnessed while under the care of Taylor Recovery are just unacceptable. There was so much drug use, sexual misconduct and verbal abuse at this facility. My son was thrown out of the facility, literally placed on the curb with all of his belongings because of his drug abuse and poor choices at 3am. It's been over 4 yrs since my son left Taylor and we just received an enormous medical bill which doesn't have any contact phone number or email to speak with anyone at Taylor regarding these charges. I have called both Court Nichols and the Owner and left numerous messages after speaking with my insurance and being informed that I shouldn't have been billed for these charges. I have filed a complaint with the BBB regarding Taylor Recovery business practices. I"m also in the process of filing a complaint with the medical board against Taylor Recovery surrounding the false claims which have been filed to our insurance company for services that were never rendered. Steer clear of this place!!!! Do NOT I repeat Do NOT place your loved ones at Taylor Recovery unless you"re ready to subject them to a large scale of mistreatment and injustice when help is what they need most! This place has been a god send, I've been here for almost a year. I came in unstable and unsure. They've given me a chance to grow, they've worked with my probation officer, and they've been extremely supportive. This place is what you make it. If you are willing to do the work there's no reason why you shouldn't succeed here. I personally plan on staying another year. I currently have 8 months sober, I have a job, and I've been able to have my dog through it all. I have great roommates and we all hold each other accountable. Bobby is by far my favorite counselor, I see her whenever I need to which has been an incredible help. The chef makes great food and will help work with you if you're on a special diet. The techs care dearly and are recovering addicts themselves with 3 of them living on site. Court and Ryan care about everyone, will laugh and joke with you and listen to you. The owners are the best! They set up crawfish boils, trips to the water parks, to the movies, to go boiling. They truly care about their facility and will make a point to learn your name even if you dont know theirs. read more

My names Anthony my story is pretty much text book really, ive been to 20 treatment centers and 12 different sober living im a recovering Heroin addict, and Taylor Recovery Center is the best Sober living You could ever go to. I wanna begin with the staff Tommy and kristi Taylor the Owners,Ryan Davis the Director and Court Nicoles the General Manager they will go Above and beyond to help you in your recovery they are the nicest people ive ever met If it wasnt for them i dont know where id be probably dead because i wouldnt choose another place other than here.
