From the beginning, Cindy was communicative and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Our scope of work involved moving walls, and a complete gut of our kitchen, living areas and dining room. I have to admit that when Cindy estimated a 3 month turnaround (including inspections) we had our doubts. She proved us wrong - our project was complete and ready for us to move in two weeks early! We were very impressed with all of the subcontractors and the work done. Our home was treated with care the entire time. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean our house was kept, even during demo! During each phase, Cindy and Jose guided these first time renovators through each decision, and came up with creative solutions when the unexpected came up. Any issues were quickly resolved, even when it was simply us changing our minds. The only cost increases we encountered were items that we decided to add. They say that in construction you can choose two - on budget, on time, or good quality. Lotus delivered all three! We highly recommend Lotus for your next project!

I worked for this company and I can tell you firsthand that it is a very shady practice and their…read moremethods of acquiring clients are very, VERY predatory. The company downloads thousands on thousands of phone numbers from an online database and sends unsolicited calls to anybody they can early as 8 AM (even calling businesses and renters on holidays) in order to rope in clients by offering a special free estimate (which is standard practice). If you do choose to accept the free estimate, they will try to overcharge and upsell you on any sort of home remodeling projects you're considering due to the small size of the company. From a worker's point of view, the company will hide information on the jobs you confirm and will threaten your job security once a week if you do not get 2 potential jobs per day. This unfortunately leads to the harassment of many Houston citizens through desperate callbacks for months on end and even giving misleading information about the company's status with the Better Business Bureau. There are cockroaches and bugs living throughout their showroom and the owner, contractors, and most of upper management do not speak English as well. All in all, this company is very unorganized yet uncomfortably persistent when it comes to finding clients and will often overcharge clients who are in desperate need remodeling and do not have time or resources to find a second opinion. If you do come in contact with them or happen to receive an unsolicited call, I strongly suggest finding another contractor to save you from a headache/wasting your time. I would even make sure to block the number because they will not stop calling if you don't.
