I highly recommend this club, all the different levels and types of classes are bound to fit everyone's level of fitness and age group. The instructors are knowledgeable upbeat and in tune to make adjustments to accommodate everyone's unique needs.

Let me tell you I have never heard of this style of fitness before coming here and even when I did arrive at the studio, I had NO idea what to expect. I was told I need grip socks and the actual studio does sell them for $20 (really pricey for socks) but I found a pair at Ardene's for really cheap and they did the job just fine. Every person gets set up on a station with a fitness equipment I have never seen in my life. But it looks super multi-functional, so I was excited to see how I would be using it. The instructor, Cassandra was great and was really thorough in explaining the moves and steps. It could be because we took a beginner class but if you're looking for a place to work up a sweat, this isn't it. If you're looking for a super unique way to work those muscles and feel the burn, then it is! The workout in total is fairly short (45 min) and it's pretty fast paced. I'm more a visual learner then audio so I do like to watch the instructor for guidance if I don't really know what I'm doing so sometimes I felt like I was a bit behind. Cassandra was great through in coming around and adjusting people's forms and postures and my god, YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. The moves are definitely challenging and if you "cheat", then I can see it feeling like a waste of time/money as it's more of a strength/core conditioning class then it is cardio. Overall, this was a fun, unique way to do some strength and core conditioning and, if you do push yourself, you will feel the burn the next day! While I would like to give this place another go, it is pretty pricey as one class is $30 and while they do have some packages, you're only saving a few dollars. If you want to try once to see what it's like they do offer a $18 first timer class and a $50 package for the first week. The overall studio is pretty small and their "change" room is more of a hallway with each locker having a digital lock, which is super nice.

Pilates...that's like yoga right? WRONG…read more My physio recommended I do it to increase strength in my core. I guess I thought pilates would be like kind of like that infomercial that we've all seen on tv with some crazy lady pumping her arms back and forth while she does a weird sit up. Yeah, it's not like that at all and it's definitely not like yoga (whoops!) Basically, it's about making sure that the right muscles do the work so that you can get stronger. I went in hoping it would help with back pain...I didn't really think that it could help with other things - like my running! This place is clean, the instructors are super knowledgeable, and the small class sizes ensure that you actually get some personal attention (which is kind of the point - if form is so important, you need someone to actually pay attention to your form). Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm all hard core so I'll do a TRX class and then shuffle around for a few days afterward. I highly recommend that you invest in a few solo sessions to start - that way you learn the principles and correct movements so that you'll actually get the most out of the classes. Bottom line - No crazy ladies or weird arm pumping for me! Pilates has been such a great compliment to my other activities. If you are looking to get stronger, help with pain, or just a kick ass workout, try it out. Go in with an open mind and you will learn a ton about your body. Highly recommend.

I was looking for something new to mix up my workout schedule - I am not a diehard fitness freak…read morebut I have been looking for ways to stay healthy and motivated. A friend of mine had been going here for about 6 months and invited me to come along and try them out. Because I am timid about new things I've never done, I opted to try the Intro to Spin class first. They showed me how to properly set up my bike and I found the instructors and staff really helpful and friendly - no pretentious attitudes at all which you sometimes get at fitness facilities. Ive continued attending various classes for a few months now. They have a great range of instructors and class types so you can really find the right person/schedule/style to fit your goals and preferences. They also have a cool movie night on Fridays where you can ride and watch a movie. Its a great way to kick off the weekend. Facilities are clean, modern and the shoes and towels are a nice convenience. Location is easy to get to and I've never had a problem with evening or weekend parking. The team there are always up for giving pointers, suggestions and are very motivating. It really is a well run place!

I was only able to use 5 classes of my "unlimited monthly" classes. During this COVID shut down...I was in a car accident, bedridden with nerve damage and in pain. Once the reopening of COVID started, I received a friendly call reminding me to come back. I explained my situation and was told my account would be on a freeze. A few month passed while I was in rehabilitation and noticed there were several payments that went though on my credit card. I contacted the location via email to request my refunds as it was unethical to process payment processed. I was told I wouldn't receive a refund for the payments they processed via email by an unnamed manager. Who wouldn't give me their name... apparently they wanted to give me a credit although while I heal from my accident I am told to NOT do Pilates for the unforeseeable future. Therefore, a credit doesn't work for me. I requested several times for a refund, this is their response: As mentioned in all of the previous messages we are unable to give you a refund but can keep the unlimited month credit on your account. For any membership to be frozen we require a completed freeze form returned to us. We then send to head office and they process the freeze. No form no freeze. This is a non negotiable head office policy. Your freeze form will be sent to head office and your membership will be frozen.
