He pushed past me to use the bathroom in my home not once but twice and stunk up the whole house. Then I heard him hucking luggees in my basement. I was too scared to confront the situation because he looked dangerous. My dog wouldn't stop barking and I had to kennel him because he could tell this guy was bad news. I feel violated, disrespected, and I am completely shocked by this bad experience. I will be cleaning my house now of all the dirt they tracked in as well as clean my bathroom, and hope I don't step in a luggee that the vile man spit in my basement. I feel like I need 1,000 showers because I am completely disgusted!!! I do not recommend them if you want peace of mind and a clean house!

Outstanding service.  We have been remodeling our home for the last couple of years.  We have an…read moreolder home here in the valley, and when we started the remodel we found that our house had little to no insulation in it.  How anyone could keep this house warm during the winter is beyond me. So, last year after insulating the walls we hired Lilienthal Insulation to come in and do our attic.  They were suppose to get the R-value of insulation in the attic to over 40, but the installers who did a fantastic job and were extremely thorough thought they got the R-value to over 60 when they were done.   All I can say is the proof is in the bills, and this past winter our heating bill was half of what it was the previous year.  The cost of having Lilienthal insulating our attic is about the same as if I would have done it myself.  The difference is I could have never got an R-value as high as they could and what took them 3 hours to do would have taken me a week.  They are worth the money.

We had a Radon Detection System installed in my Mom's house in December by Big Mountain Insulators…read more A few days ago I noticed that the motor (fan?) was making a funny noise and sounded as if it was bad. I called Big Mountain Insulators and left a message. Judy called me back and said that they would have someone out here ASAP. Within a day, the Installer (Joe) came to the house to take a look. He was one of the nicest, kindest people I have ever met and he really knew his stuff. He inspected the system and without hesitation said he would replace the part making the noise. He didn't have the part with him so he had to order it. He called a couple days later, and came back and replaced it. Joe's communication and positive attitude was awesome! He was very helpful! I really like this company and highly recommend them!

From the owner: If radon levels are high, it's time to explore mitigation options…read more When installed and maintained properly, residential radon mitigation techniques are very effective at reducing radon levels in the home. Radon reduction systems can be installed at the time of construction or many years after construction. Post-construction techniques will vary depending on the home's design and radon test levels, but they all involve preventing the gas from entering the home as much as possible. How does radon mitigation work? The primary technique for reducing radon gas is through a ventilation system. This is accomplished by collecting the radon from beneath the building before it can enter. Radon Mitigation is a proven, cost effective, and reliable technique for radon reduction. Operating costs of the fans are minor due to their low power. Despite starting underneath the foundation, this type of residential radon mitigation does not require significant changes to the home.
