My wedding was just over a month ago and I wanted to share my excellent experience with Kriselle from Taylor Grace Designs. After a couple false starts with a few other florists, Kriselle was responsive, professional and really knocked the design out of the park. We went super minimalist with florals, but she designed a flower crown for me and my flower girl, corsages and boutonnieres for the parents, a corsage for my husband and a bouquet for me and added some cake florals for our little cake. I appreciate that Kriselle didn't try to upsell me on more florals or treat me like my business wasn't important because I didn't have a huge order. She listened to what I wanted and delivered a beautiful product (literally and figuratively, she delivered even my small order. It was so helpful). When we first met Kriselle we were blown away by her personality and her floral designs. Unfortunately this was at a wedding show and not an accurate reflection of her and her business. When we hired Kriselle she was operating under the name Flower Girl Biz, and somewhere along the line changed the name to Taylor Grace designs. The branding and payment invoices were a bit confusing, but we pressed on. Initial meetings seemed normal, maybe a tad rushed. But we looked at flower books, exchanged photos, etc. The real problems did not set in until we got closer to the wedding. Colors were incorrect, items that had been updated were not updated, along with a list of other frustrating changes. I accused Kriselle of her inaccuracies via email, and she told me I was panicking for no reason. However, when my vendor asks for a final payment, when we are PAID IN FULL, it strikes a cord with me. Additionally, when you say you HATE roses, but give permission for ONE TYPE of roses...and then the bulk of your wedding flowers are roses...you are confused...but it is too late. All-in-all, flowers were beautiful...but NOT what I wanted. And for the amount of flowers and the lackluster service we received...the price was too high. Even with receiving "freebies" for her mess-ups. If you want beautiful flowers, but don't care about the flakiness of the provider...for with Taylor Grace. Kriselle was such a lovely vendor to work with! I was at a loss with my wedding flowers, I created all my own bouquets and centerpieces so I just needed a florist to create a piece for my arch/arbor. I tried working with my catering company's florist, but they said that it was too small of a job and they wouldn't be able to do it. I was scrolling through my coordinator's instagram, and I saw Kriselle's florals and I fell in love! Kriselle was happy to take on my 'small job' and did it oh-so-well, no job too small! I was planning my wedding from across the country, and Kriselle made it easy by being flexible and professional and communicating very well. We didn't order a lot of flowers, and she was fine with that, not trying to oversell me on extras like other florists. She let me order exactly the amount that we needed, and charged us fairly so we could stay in our budget. I was so pleased with my beautiful bridal bouquet and the other flowers that we ordered. Everything coordinated so well with our wedding color, and I'm sure sapphire is a challenging color to match with flowers! The blue and white flowers she chose looked wonderful!
