I have been with Taxpertise both for my C-corp and for my personal taxes for well over a decade. Bonnie Lee, the founder and her team w Amanda are outstanding. They are friendly and professional and highly skilled. I have used them for payroll services as well as book-keeping and tax prep. The proof is in the pudding. I was audited in 2010, and I turned the entire matter over to Bonnie, and she backed the IRS down 100%, I eventually got an official letter from IRS w a seal/stamp more or less saying 'our bad'. Bonnie has several published books, which combine humor and astute knowledge of the tax code. She also had a weekly radio program on NPR station in town of Sonoma for many years on tax related topics. I can't endorse her and her team too much! Very INCOMPLETE and SLOPPY. Had to have the tax return redone at my expense with another tax company just to be done correctly, that's how bad the return actually was. Taxpertise was a complete waste of money and time, and they did INCOMPLETE WORK. We had to pay double, because we had to have another E.A. remedy and amend their sloppy and incomplete return. It was a NIGHTMARE. We feel ripped-off in dealing with them, and they offered no refund. AVOID TAXPERTISE, as they are really fast and incomplete, which can leave a person with a minimum refund and a tax liability, and no one wants that in life. I tried and trusted them, and they were absolutely horrible, incomplete and sloppy, so another company had to redo Taxpertise's work at my expense.......so Taxpertise made us pay double, because they did the first return correctly- It was INNACURATE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME- AVOID TAXPERTISE, they are terrible and will cost your money, because they don't fully understand the details of the IRS tax laws and write-off legal allowances, and do NOT save you the amount you legally can claim.......ending in less money in your pocket. Get a good tax preparer it's so worth the extra money you might have to spend. What a total scam. Yuck. Don't know how they even stay in business? Maybe all their 5 star reviews are fake, from friends and family? Be smart and ask intelligent questions.....do your research. read more

My husband owns his own business which makes tax time a little tricky and a lot more work. We've been using Bonnie for over 25 years; she takes the headaches out of tax preparation for us. We also have a very complicated family set-up with rental properties and no matter how crazy our numbers get, she is always able to figure out what we are doing. We completely trust her with our paperwork and know that she will do our taxes for us in a timely and accurate manner.
