First appointment with Jack he was 40 minutes late. He was supposed to send me a Client Organizer to help me get all my tax information together - never received it. Called to set up an appointment to get my taxes done - Jack said he didn't have an office and that he worked out of his house. I told him I had already been to his office. We set up an appointment for him to do my taxes on 3/25/22. I went to his office and waited outside for a half hour and again he was a no show. I left two phone messages asking him to call me. Never received a return call. Now I have to scramble to find someone to do my taxes - I'm not very happy with Jack at this point. read more

Jack Ding is an amazing Tax Professional with the patience of a Saint. I had been trying help my Mother with her taxes for years but to no avail and she was in all kinds of trouble with the IRS. She is 76 and things like taxes overwhelm and confuse her, so we went to Mr. Ding for help. He took the jumble of tax information my Mother gave him and helped us not only negotiate a deal with the IRS but also explained everything to my Mother in simple easy to understand terms. Over the past three years Mom has paid all her back taxes and now actually gets a tax return! Instead of tax time being a nightmare for Mom she now looks forward to a nice tax return! Thanks Mr. Ding! PS: Mr Ding now does taxes for me and my daughter too! read more

Jack Ding does a great job. He is very professional.

Jack Ding is a fantastic Enrolled Agent and an absolute asset to Sonoma County! He knows what its like to run a small business and he will work hard to guide you and do whatever he can in his power to make your business succeed not just in your taxes! Not only that but as a community member no one cares more than Jack Ding he helps homeless, immigrant workers and small business owners a like - look no further for someone who will care about your business like it's their own. Agreed is Liz B. about Jeanne - when you look at her profile the only other reviews she has are one star and ironically towards other Asian Americans. SAD and Sonoma County does not welcome that kind of behavior. Go to Unicom Tax Jack is 5 STARS!! read more

Jack worked with my husband and I to do our 2011 and 2012 tax returns. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in a stressful situation. I was so happy to have Jack help us with our taxes. I would highly recommend Jack. I don't know why there is one bad review below, but Jack always returned my calls; sometimes through email at midnight after he worked all day. He was very helpful in responding to all my questions in a very timely manner. read more

Jack is an incredible resource for IRS-related information and assistance. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding what the IRS requires. He is helpful and explains tax law very well. He clearly outlined steps we have to take to reconcile our situation with the IRS and is willing to help with our follow-through. Additionally, he is an upstanding and generous community member. He made himself available to us when it was probably an inconvenience for him, for which we are extremely appreciative. We highly recommended Jack Ding. read more

Jack is an extraordinary tax accountant who is able to help us go through our tax issues given that we are international folks and have accounts overseas. Best of all, we never met him once as he came highly recommended by a friend of ours (we are in Seattle) and he was in Sonoma County, CA. He is prompt, diligent and communicative. Highly trustable! read more

I have worked with Jack the last few years for both my personal tax returns and my employers corporate tax returns. I find Jack incredibly knowledgeable, professional, responsive and truly a pleasure to work with. He always answers my questions in such a way that, as a layperson, I can understand. I have recommended him to many friends who are equally as happy with the service he provides. I am very glad to have Jack as my tax professional and look forward to working with him for many years to come. read more

I found jack on Craigslist several years ago. He helped me with adjusted returns that yielded a fair bit of savings that I had missed. Since then I have used his services every year. My small business situation has been cumbersome at times and he has been patient and helpful sorting through it. Jack has adjusted various mistakes and/or missed items while also providing sound advise. I trust his judgement and feel confident with each filing that his experience is being well applied. read more

I made some big mistakes with not paying taxes on some stocks that I sold, and had many years that I had not filed with the IRS nor FTB at all. I was in a big mess, but finally ready to take full responsibility. Jack was very patient with me, even when I dropped the ball a couple times. He is very trusted by both agencies and has a high level of skill and understanding. Jack truely changed my life and negotiated monthly amounts that are very manageable for me. I highly recommend his service and tell all to hurry and take care of your issues, just in case Jack should choose to relocate or retire. So very grateful, I am. Marc D. read more

Jack Ding is the consummate tax professional. He was extremely useful in helping me resolve long-standing issues with both the IRS & the CA Franchise Tax Board (which is notoriously hard to work with). As a private "registered agent" he is in the unique position to be able to sympathize with the average taxpayer, yet he has contacts and knowledge of numerous organizations that I could have never acquired. He is super responsive to any of my inquiries and has bent over backwards to accommodate my difficult schedule. He understands how intimidating taxing authorities can be and is able to expain their workings in detail. He is also a delightful community member with whom to be acquainted. I can't recommend him highly enough. You won't be disappointed with his fees, either. read more

Jack is like Clark Kent, quiet and unassuming. He then changes into superman and saves the day! Let me explain: I owed over $96,000 to the IRS and over $35,000 to the state. Jack listened to my story, understood the nuances of the tax code and saved the day by re-filing my corrected tax returns and thereby giving me a return of more than $2,500! He knows his stuff. The biggest problem I had was waiting for the state to fall inline with the IRS's decision. Jack essentially completed the process in less than three months but we waited an additional three months because of gov't processing. I am very happy with Jack and even had him do my taxes for this past year. Yes I would recommend him. He is fast, he is reasonable, and more importantly he is knowledgeable. He knows what he is doing and with laser precision does it. read more
