My Father does my taxes through TurboTax and it looks like I was owning more to the IRA than normal but thanks fully I was set up with a professional Tax person in Karrie to help me out with my situation. The Friendliness and kindness that Karrie and the staff there was great. Ill be back again because of the customer service I got from Karrie and the Staff. Thank you and God Bless. read more

So I had unreported income from the sale of a home in looney California from 2020. The notice says I owed 11k. Enter Jamie, a shark, and she spent an hour filling out my tax return. At one point 3 different people were working on my situation making sure all was done right. In the end I only owed 300 bucks.... Way better than 11k!!!!! Tax time was great and I would not go anywhere else. Also ask Jamie about her cute furbabies!!!!! read more

UPDATE - August 2022 4 stars - After my June 2022 review was left my husband and I were contacted pretty quickly by VP Operations Dawn Hagerty. She was extremely nice, level of concern for our situation was high and she was determined to help us find a solution to our situation. She absolutely did exactly what she said she would do and has continued to follow up with us to ensure we have resolved such a frustrating situation. She apologized and remedied our issues to get us into contact with a Tax Advocate who straightened out the issue. Review Left May 2022 - 1 star We have used Tax Time for the last few years and have not had any issues until recently. I'm not exactly sure what's happened but the level of service and customer service have gone downhill. For the past almost year and a half we have been going back and forth with the IRS regarding 2020 year taxes and have now received new requests for owing more money than what we were originally told by our tax preparer Carly Vavrik-Terral. I'm not exactly sure what we paid Tax Time for if this is the situation we are currently in and continue to see we owe more and more money every time we turn around. If you do not want to find yourself in this same situation I suggest you look elsewhere for Tax preparation services. I do not recommend utilizing Tax Time. read more

Kerrie and the management (Dawn) really helped me get back on track with taxes. I was audited for the first time in 2015 because I did my taxes through TurboTax right out of college with my first big job that had a HSA. Lesson learned. They helped me and saved me so much worry and anxiety. I didn't know what to do so I did nothing for 4 years!!!?? I had thousands and thousands of dollars in taxes owed to me but without them I would be much worse off. They are kind and really helped me and had excellent understanding and compassion to my worries. Ask for Kerrie she's the best. Now I'm all caught up and ready to file this year! They also were great about me emailing pictures of items. They really took me through all the steps with ease and the least effort from me. read more

My favorite thing ever is getting my taxes done... ....said no one, ever. BUT, Jade makes the whole experience as painless as possible. Even if you do owe the IRS a zillion dollars! She has a candy bowl in her office that has the GOOD stuff like snickers, twizzlers, reeces, etc. I pretty much clean her out on every visit. The sugar high distracts me from the empty feeling in my pockets, which I appreciate. Jade is fast (but accurate) at calculating what you owe, or I guess your refund if you're fortunate enough to get money back! I love her and she's probably done my taxes now for 4 or more years? GO SEE HER! But make an appointment, she's a busy girl! read more

Had a great experience at Tax Time this year. We had Carly prepare our taxes and she was fantastic. I had just walked in the door and was immediately greeted with a smile and brought to her office. After going through our information, she provided an estimate, did a thorough job in asking about all possible tax documents that we could have received and followed up with any additional pieces via email. We were dealing with a relocation, so had tax documents from a different state, moving expenses, etc. Throughout the process when we had questions she was very responsive and explained everything in a way that we understood. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone reliable and knows what they are doing. She will definitely be getting our repeat business! read more

I came to Tax Time because of all the great reviews. I had a horrible experience with them. I came to get my 2016 taxes done, and also to get an adjustment from an incorrect state return from 2014 when I worked in New Jersey. They weren't able to get a higher return for me than TurboTax could for 2016 since my taxes were pretty simple. No problem, I can do it on my own and I was grateful they were transparent about it and didn't charge me unnecessarily. They confirmed that I paid too much in taxes in 2014, and helped prepared the form for me to get the adjustment for $50. I send it in, and I thought it was all figured out. A few months later, I got a letter from NJ saying I actually owed $1000! I contacted Tax Time again, and the receptionist Jade was extremely rude. I called maybe 3 times for each call back, and she wouldn't let me talk to Pat. She even asked me to get out the letter from NJ and read to me word for word what it said. I can read just fine, thank you very much. I needed an accountant to help me, not an English teacher. After a few weeks of dealing with her, I lost my patience and she finally transferred me to Pat. He helped me write another letter to NJ. I thought again, this issue was resolved. Again, a few months later NJ sent me a letter saying they actually didn't owe me anything. I've called several times and also emailed asking for help, but I've been ignored. It has now been a full year. I don't even want to go back there to ask for my $50 back, and I still did not get my 2014 adjusted. read more

I got my taxes done here twice before today and had been a great experience. But after today, I am never going back to this place. Her name was Jade, she was very rude and not welcoming at all. She was very impatient while I was trying to pull my documents online and started making faces. However, she was very happy to take $$ at the end while providing such bad service. Not cool! If this is how you treat your regular customers, you will be out of business in no TIME. read more

Judging by the sign on the door that I read on October 7th, 2013 they must not be open anymore. They are not returning phone calls or answering emails. read more

I've used Pat Hagerty at Tax Time for years and years. I've always been impressed with how easy it is for me to get my refund. He always gets everything right and crosses all the "T"'s and dots all the "I"'s. I promise they won't miss a cent when it comes to deductions either. By the time they're done, the cost I'm paying is more than made up by the larger refund I'll receive, than if I filed it myself. read more

I have been one of Pat's original customers from the first year he opened. I have never thought about another tax person since. Pat is the best CPA I've ever encountered and in 42 years I've encountered many. He knows his tax laws, rules, and newest changes. He has saved me thousands over the years, and always does it with accuracy and a welcome hug. He's and his family are the cream of the crop in the tax industry for personal and business. Wish there were more than 5 stars. read more

You won't find better customer service, anywhere else. This office is professional and will do what's best for you. Highly recommend.

Pat Hagerty from Tax Time is great! My former CPA flaked out on me a few days prior to the tax deadline (despite my getting my documents to her half a year prior)..... and Pat stepped in at the last minute and helped me out in a pinch. Not only did he do everything he could to help me get everything finished and filed at the last minute on time for the deadline, he also helped me save a huge additional amount that my prior CPA had missed in the initial draft. We're talking an additional $10,000+ or more in legal deductions that I would have missed had I worked with the other CPA. Fortunately, I came across Tax Time, and Pat really knows his stuff. I would highly recommend Pat and Tax Time to anyone looking for CPA services. read more

Our regular tax office had to close due to a family emergency with just a few days left before the deadline. Tax Time was able to get us in right away. They have WONDERFUL customer service, and are so very helpful in finding ways to save as much money as possible. We will definitely be back next year. read more

I just moved to Dallas from Houston. I am in the middle of relocation, buying and selling houses and a bunch of various transactions. I sat down with my old friend Turbo Tax and it kicked out a tax bill that was more than a Mercedes. After a small panic attack, I got online and found great reviews for Tax Time in Frisco. So, let me tell you how awesome they are. I spoke with Mike and told him my woes and he fit me into a same day appointment. I arrived to meet a very friendly front with a front office person. She offered me a glass of wine, which I think is a perfect paring for tax prep. Carly came out and got me and started powering thru my paperwork like a champ. Pat, business owner, came in and spoke with me while Carly was saving me from a very scary tax bill. The entire office was so calming as Carly crunched through my numbers and very friendly while the work is being done At the end of the appointment, my tax bill came in less than I budgeted for, the return was explained to me and my payment is setup to go. I am extremely grateful they jumped in so fast to help me and I very much enjoyed meeting the whole staff and kudos for a great business model. I will be a returning customer!!! Thank you so much Tax Time!!! read more

I have been going to Tax Time in Frisco TX for the past 8 years. I can honestly say Jade Gust is the BEST!! We have had a rental property in MN and a couple small businesses over these 8 years and Jade understands the tax laws and can advise on our best approach to how to make the most of our businesses. She is extremely efficient, accurate, knowledgeable AND makes the experience doing your taxes enjoyable. We moved back to MN this past year, sold two houses, dissolved a business. I would never trust anyone other than Jade or Tax Time team to do my taxes. I'll be going back each year. They truly understand the tax laws AND how to treat their customers. Thanks read more

Worst tax company I've ever used! I initially was recommend Jade who literally ignored me for over a month, while I was trying to get my taxes prepared to move into a new apartment last year. Not to mention that their hours mean nothing. They always close before their hours actually end, no one EVER answers the phone, let alone calls you back! Pat wasn't any better. He took over for Jade's massive screw ups and then tried to charge me $500 for my tax preparation, even though I was told that Jade would be doing it for $100 (I literally didn't have anything for him to do.) and sent me a bill for $500! I had to confront him about it and he said we can do $100 this time, but "next time" it'll be more since I'm the owner. As if there will be a "next time"! read more
