I cannot thank Straight Tax enough for everything they have done for me. My previous tax accountant sadly passed away during COVID, and the last time I filed taxes was in 2021. I had never received my refund from that year, and because of that, I didn't file the following year. When I came to Straight Tax, they immediately got to work and did a Tax Account Discovery by contacting the IRS on my behalf. That's when we found out I was a victim of identity theft in 2021. Straight Tax didn't just stop there--they walked me through every step of the process to resolve my identity theft issues, helped me file my back taxes, and handled everything with the IRS. Unfortunately, I ended up with a large balance for back taxes, but Straight Tax still had my back. They helped me set up a manageable payment arrangement and are continuing to work with me to try to reduce my debt. I don't know what I would have done without them. Straight Tax literally saved my life, and I'm so appreciative of their patience, dedication, and professionalism. If you need real help with your taxes, they are the team you can trust. Carmen is the owner and a fraud. Shes doing things without peoples permission. They send you a text that your getting $50 cash and then adds that on to your bill. Went to another accountant, they got me back $500 more then she said. Stay away!! Far far away!! read more

After I mentioned living abroad, a question that they failed to ask and I had to mention. They at first said the estimated quote might be even higher than the current $800 quote for a W2 and a 1099-K! After days of waiting they emailed me back saying that "We are not going to be able to help you" AFTER they've TAKEN ALL of my personal and deeply sensitive information. This was confusing, as it is the first time I've ever been denied service by a business; without any explanation no less! I went in with such confidence, so it's been a huge bummer to have such a challenging experience, not only do I hope that my personal information has been deleted as per my request. It also puts me in a very difficult situation now of having to scramble to find another provider that can actually get the job done in a reasonable amount of time.

I needed a local tax company back in 2017 after liberty tax screwed up my taxes and I found straight tax. I was so happy to find this company because my tax issues were rather complicated and they were the only ones around who knew exactly how to help me.
