    All Good Tax Pro for my 2024 tax return, and unfortunately my experience was quite disappointing…read more What was promised / my expectations:I was told I would receive thorough guidance, timely submission of my return, clear communication, and a finalized set of calculations for my refund, they never filed my State, both Kansas and Missouri. What actually happened:* My preparer missed several items for example: They never filed either of my state taxes.* Despite agreeing to finish by February, the paperwork was delayed, and I had to follow up repeatedly.* Communication was unclear: I received vague answers to my questions, and at one point was told "it's done" when it clearly wasn't .* Because of the delay/errors, I faced extra stress (and possibly extra cost) when dealing with the [IRS/State tax agency]. Why this matters:When you use a professional tax preparer, you expect accuracy, timeliness, and trust. My experience failed onall three. I ended up spending more of my own time (and worry) trying to correct or clarify things that I had hoped would be handled properly. What should change / what I suggest:* Better double‑checking of forms and calculations before the client signs off.* More transparent communication: if there is a delay or a problem, it should be communicated proactively.* A clear checklist shared with the client so both sides know exactly what documents are needed, what has been done, and what is still pending. Only charging what we agreed on, and not changing the amount for filling, that never happened.
