My partner and I got 2 apps and a main to share and could not finish. We got the hand cheese music(?), beef sausage salad and a mushroom schnitzel. The schnitzel was by far the star of the show (as we should have expected)! The cheese is famous so we had to try it but sheep's cheese is a bit too strong for me and it had a harder texture than I prefer. My partner liked it though so I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're adventurous!! We also got their homemade lemonade which was a fizzy raspberry lemonade. Pretty good as well but wish I had tried one of their ciders!

Even the side salad was wonderful: all vegetables in the salad were fresh and the dressing was very good. Everyone else was happy with their dinners, also. The portions were very satisfying. We were too full to have desert. Hochmühle is a favorite of our friends who live nearby. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, though when full of people can be very loud.
