He came up with a plan after actually reading, understanding my MRI, explaining my condition and how he can fix the problem. He showed me the herniation in my spine that was pushing on a nerve and how he can remove it. he made is so logical that I developed so much confidence in him. Dr Jasper did a small spine procedure with a very small opening with an endoscope that made me a new person. I had no general anesthesia I went home the same day with a bandaid. The procedure that I am most thrilled with is called Via disc. It is 5 procedures of cadaver implants. I cannot say enough about this wonderful procedure. It takes 2-3 months for each implant to begin to work. It has been approximately 10 weeks since my first procedure & I am 70 percent improved. Surgery was performed on a Tuesday, Thursday I was in PT and by early the following Saturday morning didn't need pain killers. After two months of PT, I had regained full range of motion, after three and one half months of PT I was back in the gym with light weights. Now, six months later, I have full range of motion, most of my strength back and ready to get back into surfing and cycling. At 68 years old, I wasn't sure what my outcome was going to be. However, I needed a second procedure in another area of the body after I left New Jersey. Dr. Glasser actually called me in Florida to check on me two months post procedure. No doctor does that!. I was in a great deal of pain having nothing to do with the area that she previously treated. It was bad enough (the pain,) that I could not fly to see her as I had planned and I had to rely upon a doctor in Delray Beach. While the doctor did the procedure--I had issues derived from the treatment. I decided that I wanted to wait to see Doctor Glasser in New Jersey--the most wonderful professional I have ever encountered-- rather than go back to the treating profession or another in Florida. I am scheduled to see her first week of June. To have this level of confidence in a physician with a painful issue--tells you the caliber of this wonderful person. Whatever she tells me when she sees me, she will be a sight for sore eyes. No one has ever cared this much. Can't wait to see this great doctor and I urge anyone in pain to contact this wonderful woman and this great practice. I hope anyone in pain will consider this post.

I had a benign cyst that had ruptured causing me to be hospitalized, Dr. Chu worked with at least 10 doctors to try and find the root cause. He was very instrumental to my recovery and I'm grateful for his expertise and explanation of what was going on and how to manage and care for my condition. Still thankful for Dr. Chu, and his comrades in the adjacent field Dr. Calabrese and Banks at Coastal Oral surgery.
