We requested an MRI and were told to complete physical therapy first because the office did not want to pursue pre-authorization without PT. After PT was completed, we returned to the same physician and requested the shoulder MRI again, but the office declined again, stating the pain "might be spinal" instead of shoulder-related. We then attempted to schedule with their spine specialist in both November and December and were told both times to call back in a month because they were "changing systems." When I asked how we were supposed to proceed without the ability to schedule, we were told, "Find someplace else." We did. We contacted Professional Orthopaedic Associates and they scheduled her appointment the same week. Overall, we were not satisfied with the lack of clear ownership of the case, the scheduling delays, and the communication around next steps and imaging.

I was suffering greatly with a very deep and penetrating pain in my buttocks where I couldn't even…read morelift my foot 1 inch off the floor without severe, debilitating pain. I needed to have an injection in my buttocks. I was very much worried whether it was going to hurt. Dr. Mann reassured me that I would feel nothing. Well, I have to say I felt nothing!!! He did numb me up previously to the injection that helped the affected nerve to calm down. He uses a machine that posts an image on a computer screen, so he knew exactly where to put the needle. He then took the time to show me the details on his computer screen, which I thought was very kind of him to do. Today I have absolutely no pain or discomfort.
