During his time as a St. Francis Emergency Room doctor he treated both myself and my children. He was always kind, thorough and calming in his approach, not to mention he has a hilarious bedside manner which puts you immediately at ease. In his new role he brings the same competency and gift for exemplary patient care. Let's face it, nobody is excited to have a medical procedure done, even an elective one. You may know the results will bring you peace and heightened self esteem, but the process is still quite intimidating. Dr. Cummings and his capable staff make every stage of the process as easy as they possibly can. They educate the patient on what to expect and are extremely open to answering any questions and calming any fears. I would recommend Dr. Cummings and his practice to anyone who is in search of making an aesthetic change. You will not receive better care or better results anywhere in Central Illinois.

He's always been a caring person. I initially resisted going on a medication, and he bargained with me - if I didn't see results, he'd agree I shouldn't be on it and we'd look for other alternatives I took his word and I saw immediate positive results. I was wrong. He always listens to what I have to say, and I feel like he's a partner in my health, not just an authority telling me what to do. He works with me. I was so confident with him, that I brought my aging mother to him, and he was the only doctor that could ever get my mother to take her meds, and take better care of herself. He was sweet, kind and caring. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ira Halperin. I've never been with one doctor, this long in my life.
