Beautiful line work Will be coming back for more and definitely recommending him. Clean and professional read more

If only I could give zero stars. The artists admitted he was new but we figured if he was working the shop alone, he must be decent. My sister and I went in for really meaningful, simple and small pieces. My sister's tattoo practically disappeared a week after. Meaning the artist didn't use enough pressure/wrong technique for the spot. Mine is also lacking in the fill in spots. read more

I went into Tattoo Joe's a couple times leading up to getting my first tattoo. Once I talked to Joe, I knew I had found the right place. Joe and his wife are wonderful knowledgeable people. I took it what a picture of the custom tattoo I wanted and got a price. I scheduled my appointment. I brought a friend with me, who got a tattoo also. Plus a friend who was there for moral support. Joe was friendly, personable and in my opinion very talented. Over all getting my first tattoo was a GREAT experience and I will never go anywhere else. The shop is bright, and very clean. Very inviting. I recommend Tattoo Joe's to everyone I know. read more

Amazing amazing amazing. Finding a tattoo artist is like finding your soul mate! When you found the one... you just know!! He did an amazing job with a portrait of my father in the army in Vietnam. His use of color... just wow! If I could give more stars I would!! Joe is a real artist not a computer outline transfer type of guy. He's even fixing a tattoo fail from another shop. And he never talks bad about other artist or shops. Real class act. He will work with you to make sure your idea/vision becomes your reality of a tattoo! Between him and his wife, I have never felt more comfortable in a tattoo shop! Love it!! He has a month long wait list but I honestly think that's the price you pay for quality work! Can't complain!! read more

If I could give this guy 10 stars I would in a heartbeat. I went in for a memorial tattoo, he made this tattoo so beautiful. Best artist around. Don't waste your time going to other places just go to him and I guarantee you will be more than happy with the finished result. read more

Tattoo Joes - For the love of my life who passed away 10/22. - Tattoo Near Me - Vacaville, California

At the age of 38 I decided to get my first tattoo to cover up a scar. I spent some time reading reviews before deciding on Tattoo Joes. Joe is a true artist and took my rough idea and created perfectly what I wanted. He explained everything as he went, so not only did I get a great tattoo but I am so much more knowledge about the process. I would recommend Joe and will be going back to him for another tattoo! He is very active on his Facebook page and responds quickly on there to any question. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=392538117498090 read more

Will not be coming back to this place. First visit I came in to get a tatoo, they didn't have time for a walk in, which was fine, but it didn't go any further. Wasn't even asked if I wanted to make an appointment or what I wanted done. The second time I came in, I was with my best friend from Colorado that came to visit, we thought at the spur of the moment to get a tattoo, this was at around 12:20pm. We asked if we could get a tattoo. The gentleman stated he didn't have time but another artist was coming in at 12:30, so we waited. 12:50 came around and he didn't show up yet. So we left our name and number for him to call us while we did some shopping....we never received a call back. Twice now, nothing....we ended up at a different shop and our tattoos were great. Will definitely not recommend this place. read more

I got my first tattoo yesterday done by Joe. It was a wonderful experience and I couldn't be happier with the tattoo. It looks beautiful and the shop does as well. The shop is nicely decorated without the normal tattoo shop vibe (plastering tattoo drawings everwhere). Joe was fantastic. He was very relaxed, kind, and obviously enjoys his work. I will definitely be back! read more

Tattoo Joes - Awesome new tattoo that means a lot to me! - Tattoo Near Me - Vacaville, California

I have 20 plus hours in Joe's chair. He is amazing. He is a true artist who is beyond talented. I was able to watch my last tattoo come to life. All I can say is wow. He has earned our business and we will go nowhere else. Walking into his shop you get a positive friendly vibe not like other shops where you want to turn and run. I sport my awesome tattoos proudly and I am very honored to be a part of the tattoo Joe's Family. read more

I've been getting tattoos from joe for over 4 years now and ill tell you there's no better place to go. He's very willing to work with you. He's always polite and extremely informative I got my first tattoo from him on my 18th birthday and it was a memorial to my late brother and he was extremely sensitive with the subject and did an amazing job. It's a family friendly shop but you still get that bad ass feel of being in a tattoo parlor. Over 34 tattoos later joes a good friend and an amazing artist I would highly recommended him for anything from first tattoos to cover ups or repairs this shop is perfect in every way. read more

I highly recommend this place to everyone. Both Joe and Erick are super friendly and make each customer feel welcome to their studio. Erick has done my husband and I's tattoo and he has done an amazing job, better than I could of pictured it! read more

Joe came recommended by multiple friends and coworkers. I set up the appointment with Joe, and just got the work done last week. While the tattoo is still healing - the work looks great, and everyone who has seen it has been thoroughly impressed. I will definitely return in the future. Any of his negative reviews are ridiculous. Welcome to 2018 people, nearly everything is done by appointment. And let's be honest - if you threaten a bad Yelp review to get a discount, your opinion is worthless. read more

Amazing! Joe is professional and talented. He really connects with his customers and creates beautiful work. He was great about making an appointment that was convenient and reliable. Absolutely had a fantastic experience. read more

Great work by Joe, have had 2 tattoos done there. Highly recommended

Best Tattoo Artist in Town. Does a great job with Tattoos cover up. Very family oriented place.

I absolutely love Joe!! He's done all my tattoos. And i brought in several others. Although I browse other tattoo artists, he is the only guy I will allow to tat me. He is a genius and helped me to really get exactly what I wanted. He is very professional, and easy to be around. read more

First and foremost Joe is extremely professional a friendly! His shop is clean and the environment is welcoming! With that said my tattoos are all that I wanted and more! Honestly his $$ rate is below his work, meaning... His work is upper class and rate keeps the middle and lower class in mind! If you are in Solano or NorCal trust the review and go to Joe! read more

I got my tattoo done by Joe and he was ABSOLUTELY amazing. First of all, the shop is REALLY clean. Secondly, he talked me through my entire session to take my mind off my tattoo which REALLY helped and my tattoo was absolutely perfect. The tattoo was definitely worth what I paid.. Pure quality! And he'll definitely be doing my tattoos from this day forward read more

This was my first tattoo and I am extremely impressed with both Joe and Shawn, and how relaxed I felt after talking with them. I met several people who were being tattooed while I was looking through photo albums of their work and I watched Joe do a tattoo ... Needless to say it was stunning work. Shawn sat and talked with my husband and I about different ideas we both had and helped answer a lot of questions. Shawn took the time to come in on Fathers day to do a special tattoo in remembrance of my father. Since I am carrying this around with me the rest of my life, I wanted it to look nice and it is perfect! I highly recommend this shop and both artists. read more

On behalf of my 18-year-old daughter: He did a really nice job on my hummingbird with my grandmother's hand writing underneath. Very friendly, very clean. I would have given you six stars if that was an option :) Thanks Joe! read more

Everything was going well. I have been going to Joe for awhile now I have at least 3000 worth of art on me from him, brought lots of customers to him. I have a few tattoos that need touch ups from where he failed to add enough ink. I call him up to see if he can touch them up or what the price is and he tells me he will fix them but he is charging me 150 an hour (original price hourly) to fix his mistakes. That's horrible. I called a few other shops in Vacaville like Damage Lifestyle and Anchor Tattoo and they told me quickly. If they do a tattoo that doesn't hold up or for any reason needs a touch up. They would fix it no questions asked. That to me is customer service. Joe in the other hand, is only thinking about his money and not his customers. He may have forgot who got him where he isn't. Which is his loyal customers. read more

Got my first tattoo here and the guy that did it was super nice and i was very comfortable talking to him. It was clean place with very professional people. My only complain is that his lines weren't as smooth as I would like and that they don't have a minimum price for a small piece. Mine took literally 15 min and I had to pay the full price it would have cost me for an hour worth of work. So if you guys plan to have a small piece done, think about getting another one at the same time just so it's worth what you're spending. read more

I have had 2 full sleeve's done and Joe is Fantastic. We have become very close friends. Every time I need something re-worked he has no problem doing that. I have been treated so well and we have become such great friends. This is a great shop. Eric and Joe are very professional. I would recommend this shop 100% to all who want to get top notch work. Very nice and very friendly and so professional. A minimum price is a minimum price, so go into the shop for some work that takes up 1 hr. Superb shop read more

Joe is a very talented artist! Bottom Line. You'll be pleased.

I used to really like this shop. Fun, friendly atmosphere and great art. All of the artists, Joe, Mac (sp?), and the other guy (can't remember his name), were good people. I got my tattoos done by Mac and they turned out awesome! I went in there a couple weeks ago, and Mac wasn't there anymore. When I asked for him, everyone turned real rude and pushy. They wouldn't tell me where he was, and it seemed like they were trying to scam me into getting a tat from someone I didn't know. Needless to say I left and I won't be coming back. I'm sure I will find Mac or another equally great artist who isn't so pushy. read more

First offf... let me just say that Tattoo Joe's deserve 5 stars on customer service alone. I had first come into the shop to speak with someone regarding a memorial piece I had wanted to have done. The owner Joe was working on a client but, he took the time to talk with me in detail about what I had wanted to have done. He was very courteous and knew exactly what was required to complete my work. I had another encounter with his lovely wife who spoke with me about a variety of things regarding tattoos, coloring and placement.. being as though I am a woman, her opinion made sense and was helpful. Last but not least Erik. I have had Erik do several small pieces all over my body. Not only is he professional and goes to great lengths to make sure his work is on point, he makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I also had an issue with one of the letters on my fingers not adhering and he corrected it without any fuss or muss.. WHAT A GREAT SHOP!!! You won't be disappointed. I always recommend them when someone asks me about getting work done.. read more
