Tate's Honey Farm is a staple in the Spokane/Northern Idaho for Beekeepers and bee keeping supplies. Jerry Tate is not only a retired Military Veteran but has been a bee keeper longer than most of his clients have been alive. His personal knowledge (along with his friends and family) have kept the industry rocking up here. The store is small but they usually have everything a bee keeper could want or need. Bring cash or you check book as they are old school and don't accept credit cards. They sell everything from hand made bees wax candles and balms to bee hives and smokers. The best is the fresh honey. Their hours are limited to Sat mornings during the spring, summer and early fall. Best to call before driving over. Might be busy but there's a reason for that. Bring an empty coffee cup and an extra hour of your time to jaw jack ( I do and it's well worth it). read more
