My family stopped in for lunch on a July Friday. I would've liked to have used the patio on such a…read morepretty day but the humidity was a bit much; fortunately, we were able to sit near the front of the restaurant with a gorgeous view of the train tracks and river. Service was fantastic the whole time. We were never left wanting for anything, and drinks and food came out at a perfect pace. We started off with drinks and the dill cheese curds appetizer. I was very happy that they had four ciders available, and I went with the pear choice, which turned out to be Magner's. The curds were fantastic, with loads of dill in the crisp breading. The curds had a perfect pull and squeak. My kid had the fettucine alfredo and rated it as "very good." (He also enjoyed the leftovers the next day). My husband had the smothered ribeye sandwich and requested no mushrooms. He had fries on the side. He said this is one of the best ribeye sandwiches he's ever had. I had the fish tacos, and wow, they were delicious. It included two tacos, and each one had two massive, very hot fish nuggets. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I had my choice of side and went with coleslaw, which was good. Note that this is a brewery, but they had none of their beers available during our visit because they had just transferred to new ownership. Based on our experience, we definitely need to return when they have their own beers on tap again and then we can try more of their food, too!

I love this spot and am happy to hear there is a new owner the carry on the tradition. It's in a…read moretiny tiny city among the Mississippi. The building is gorgeous inside and out. Lots of memorabilia from long defunct breweries. My Bloody Mary was excellent as were my fish tacos. There are multiple options for pescatarians though probably a bit more challenging for vegans, which is not unusual in this part of the world. While we visited their onsite brewing was on hiatus because they need to be re-licensed after the ownership change. Looking forward to that happening!

I really want to give theses guys a 5 star review. Yup food was that good. However the two hour…read morewait, just not worth the visit. The hostess is the worst, phoney from the get go. She knew we'd wait and wait for everything, and kept smiling the whole time. After we received water and drinking it (waited 30mins after finishing) I flag down the hostess. Back rubs and phoney smilies and a "let me see if I can find a wait staff." "How about you take our drink order cuz the wait staff are everywhere and ignoring us and it's not busy. Even that kid who used to work at the Pier 4" comes out of my mouth. Drinks soon follow from a waitress we've not seen yet on the patio. She was good, but not enough to change the review. Food is 4 star:I ordered the shrimp po-boy, best I've had outside of Louisiana no kidding. 2 of my dining companions had the pasta al Alfresco and a burger was eaten by my semi vegetarian woman. I tried the pasta it wasn't bad, cooked perfectly al dente! The chef has a clue at this establishment. The rest have apparently never worked in a fine dining restaurant. Or even care about patrons dining experiences. The patio is exquisite and a great place to have a meal. If you're in town staying at a small bed-and-breakfast this might be a great place if you have time to have a wait until you get it meal. If you're just passing through, just pass through. We come to this area often and we'll stop back, I'll keep you updated. FYI: the table next to us asked for their wine twice in the time it took us to get our meal. Uncork grab two glasses, they'll wait for food if they're enjoying themselves.
