Was up from Denver and grabbed a Chilli Relleno carne asada burrito and a soda. Was $18 with tip. The burrito was awesome! It's if meat and great size. $18 was expensive for a burrito and soda but it was really good and I would have it again if I am in the area. read more

I have driven past this place multiple times was always curious. I was out running errands and thought I'd stop and grab some lunch to go. I grabbed a Carne Asada burrito. I was pleasantly surprised. The burrito is quite good. I definitely would stop by here again to grab some lunch or dinner. The service was also very nice and the restaurant was kept nice and clean. If you're in the area, you need to grab something to eat I recommend stopping by. read more

We love Tata's Burritos. The burritos are a nice size and very delicious, always fresh. Tina read more

Well, I keep coming back to Tata's! Their steak, potato and cheese burrito (I get no egg unless it's breakfast) is my favorite in Loveland. Their steak is delicious and the salsa/sauce (red and green) they provide is the perfect complement. The portion size for $8 is also more than you get at a place like Qdoba or Chipotle and tastes better! The facility itself is old and dated but when the food is good, it doesn't matter. I can't comment on the whole menu as I've only had 2-3 items but grading off the burrito (which is in the name) it's an 8 out of 10 and I WILL be back. read more

The only reason this place gets 2 stars from me is guess is I've been eating hear for 11 years now. Only one other time did they get my order wrong but this time not only did they get my order wrong they told me that soft tacos dont exist on their menu.....well excuse me but the number 1 says crunchy or SOFT. Then the cook proceeded to come out and argue about it and all the while I didn't receive my supreme burrito that I had to come into the store from the drive in for. So I asked for 4 corn tortillas so my wife could eat her tacos without hurting her teeth and he said they were cooking....what part of soft taco doesn't this place understand? Then they went back in the kitchen and were talking all loud in spanish like I didnt know wtf they were saying, so I chimed in and said and you better not spit in my burrito. I decided at this point was I gonna risk getting sick over a 9$ burrito...no I wasn't, I walked out, never got my burrito nor the tortillas for my wife's soft tacos and Tatas has lost a customer for life now. They were decent for years but they ain't the best Mexican food in town and now as far as im concerned they're rude and unprofessional. Maybe of your food isn't the best at least you customer service should be?? read more

The single most important thing to remember is this: When ordering a breakfast burrito GET IT SMOTHERED IN RED OR GREEN CHILI. If you don't, you will likely complain that your burrito is dry. This is because of the high potato content, which by design will result in a dry burrito. read more

Great delicious and authentic! Need to try this place out highly recommended, everything's so good no matter what you order from the menu! They even give green or red salsa chile for burritos and as sides!! read more

Was disappointed after hearing good reviews about this place. I had two breakfast burritos and they were kind of dry. Driving up to the place I wasn't sure if I was pulling into a gas station or a restaurant and sadly it didn't get much better after that. I really wanted to like it, but I didn't . read more

Made-to-order Breakfast burritos with crispy bacon from a drive-thru?? Tata's is always on point. My husband used to live in Colorado and says that the burritos are just as good as back then. We get the breakfast burritos with bacon. They come with potatoes, eggs, and red and green hot sauces on the side. Great portion and always delicious. Cheers to Tata's Burritos in Loveland! read more

I've been coming here for a while and the tortillas they use or make are so good! I often get the Carne Asada burrito. It is always filled with so much meat and guac! Yumm! Great portions. Not much of an atmosphere for eating in-house but great to take anywhere for a nice lunch with authentic flavors. read more

Tata's Burritos - Carne asada burrito - Mexican Near Me - Loveland, Colorado

Slow service, stale food, menu items not available. Customer service was short and rude.

The food is great and customer service is normally top notch. The girl that works there rolls her eyes, and has a bad attitude when you ask for things and help. read more

I had to come on and make a review about this place because their food and customer service has never failed my family and I. I'm originally from California and we have some of the best mexican food out there so it has been a struggle to find good places to eat at. One day we chose to go to Tatas and after that it has been the one place my family and I go to. Their breakfast burritos are amazing (really any of their burritos), Their plates are amazing and filled well, their horchata, and their beans and rice are the best i've had out in colorado. If you wanna know what real mexican food tastes like and you live in Colorado, Tatas is the place to get the BEST authentic Mexican food. read more

I've been there many times burritos were good but Yesterday went in around 4:30 to get same burrito as usual it was a egg potato and cheese well after leaving I was starting to eat it and it was so disgusting ! The burrito was drier than usual the potatoes they put inside were French fry type very dry and cold!!!! I called to complain not wanting another one but just to tell about the burrito the manager was not concerned at all said I could take the old one in to show him and he can replace ! I called Today it's already The Next Day!!!! Will not be returning again! read more

Very authentic Mexican food. Chili verde and beef tacos were excellent. Staff is totally friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

Wonderful find in Loveland. Want a more tasty and authentic mexican meal, this is it. Super hearty for a drive through.

The outside of the restaurant wasn't much to look at, and the interior was very dated as well. It appeared to be clean on the morning I went. The staff was not friendly, and didn't respond to questions about the menu. I asked about the breakfast burrito special, and was greeted with a blank stare. I ordered it anyway, and it was about as big as a Chipotle burrito. It was pretty dry, and for something that had chorizo in it, it wasn't very flavorful. Seemed to be mostly potatoes and some bland eggs. It was better with the red sauce on it. Although the burrito was okay once I added the red sauce, it isn't something I think I'd crave if I lived in the area. read more

Their Burritos are among the best. My favorite & go-to is the Ranchero. The red & green salsas on the side are very good. I have not tried the other plates they offer. They may be tricky to find. 1356 N Lincoln Ave. It's a one way there. Approach from the south & it's on the right between a Taco Bell & Dairy Queen just south of Eisenhower. Not a fancy building. The staff is always prompt and friendly. Try it! read more

Food is great! Churros, tacos, burritos, and breakfast burritos, the machaca (sp?) breakfast burrito is my favorite!

Best breakfast burritos ever. We have been going here for years. Would highly recommend.

I used to eat here on occasion, but I haven't been back for a couple of years, and today reminded me why. Actually, it's worse than before. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito, and paid $2 extra for them to add rice into it. I only tasted rice in the first bite, I didn't realize that rice is so expensive. The burrito price has gone up by 33%, but that might not be unusual. I ate in the restaurant, which was empty, except for the table with food scattered all over it. The burrito came fast, maybe too fast, wrapped in paper, but nothing else, no paper plate, napkins... There were no napkins anywhere, I had to ask for them, and then wait for almost two minutes while he seemed to wander around talking to fellow employees. The food quality didn't sit well with me either. Happy Cinco de Mayo! read more

I don't like giving bad reviews. But here it is. I went to this place a couple of years ago and loved it. It was one of those places that is a hole in the wall Mexican place that has good breakfast burritos like we can get in California. Then, the quality just went down hill. Everything started tasting old and kinda tasteless. The guacamole was brown when we got it. And the cheese fries had fake cheap cheese on it. Very unappetizing. It's sad because I was looking for a place like this with some yummy food. And this was every time I have tried to go back, not just a one off deal... read more

I havent eaten here for a while and i decided to get the cheese enchiladas and I've gotta say...unsatisfied and grossed out. They were actually cold in the middle and the cheese wasn't even melted... like really??? Girl with the black hair that handed me my food looked miserable and her hair also got in my container and i noticed while in the middle of my eating and discovering how cold and uncooked the food was... I regret tipping and i want my damn money back! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! read more

Remember kids, the one star reviews of Tatas made by no user pic, 2 review people, aren't actually real. They are trolls, or people who can't/won't show their faces because they know they are wrong. thank u, next. Tatas is 100% the best Mexican food in Loveland, aside from my house, but that's another post. I dare you to find a place in Loveland that has a drive thru, is not a chain, doesn't have jerks working their counter and serves you a piping hot 5 buck burrito at 6am on a Sunday. Go ahead, I'll wait. The gentlemen who work there are always kind when taking orders, friendly, upbeat, remember the locals and their orders and treat the first timers like new family. They are accommodating to substitutions and never bat an eyelash at it. I ate vegetarian for a while and they made me one of the most amazing breakfast burritos ever, asking me if cheese was ok, stating that the beans had meat in them and suggested double potatoes, and extra lettuce/toms and guac. THEN remembered me the next time I came in. The staff at Tatas want to serve the good people of Loveland, quality, fresh, tasty and well priced Mexican food. The food is always on point. Beans? Delish, creamy, perfectly salted. Rice? Better than my last review. Fresh produce, meats are seasoned to perfection. Tortillas? Well, people complaining about the tortillas need to get a lesson on where Tatas gets them from. Guess what, that place is local too. And most if not all the good restaurants in loveland buy their tortillas from that well established joint. And its not King Soopers. The tortillas are legit and handmade friends. Several other sit down mexican places in Loveland have the same decore as Tatas. That's the charm of Tata's (hello drive thru) and every other sit down Mexican restaurant in Loveland. These same joints are buying their tortillas from the same place too. And unless you're getting take away from the place that makes the tortillas for all the restaurants in Loveland, you cannot speak ill of the tortillas. So please, you one star, no picture having, 2 star reviewers, who've NEVER even traveled to California, just stick to snowboarding and eating your sad green "chili" and leave the real reviews of this place, and all other Mexican restaurants in our beautiful city, up to people who actually know what quality Mexican food is. Again, thank u, next read more

Tata's Burritos - Chili Relleno Plate with a Fried Egg. - Mexican Near Me - Loveland, Colorado

Recieved moldy food or other weird blue slimy substance on my bacon burrito. When I called to tell them about it they offered to remake it (why would I want more moldy food?) Then just apologized and told me to have a good day. Not even a refund offer. Never eating here again after being a loyal customer for years. read more

We were passing through on our motorcycle and we hadn't eaten lunch. My husband said he didn't want anything because it will be "spicy!" I ordered a fish burrito for him and a carnitas for me! He loved them both! The thing we liked about Tata's the spicy part is on the side! The green sauce was milder, but the red hot sauce had more flavor! You won't be sorry if you decide to stop here for some excellent Mexican food. read more

Tata's Burritos - Carne asada fries with green chili cheese and sour cream - Mexican Near Me - Loveland, Colorado

I've only eaten their breakfast burritos here, but I love them. For the price you pay, it's a really good deal and I really like their tortillas. It reminds me of a place I used to eat in Greeley during my college days. read more

This place is a need to try. their carne asada fries are the best! the street tacos are A-MAZ-ZAZING. Only place that tastes like grandmas beans and rice. It's right next to Taco Bell...but seriously...why go there...go authentic and yes!!!! They do have a drive thru read more

My boyfriend is a breakfast burrito fanatic so we have tried almost every place around NOCO and we were both impressed by the food here! We had the carne burrito and a potato, egg, and bacon breakfast burrito and they were both great. Not sure about anything else on the menu but we will absolutely be back. Personally, The green chili went better with the carne and the red with the breakfast. I've read some reviews saying they were slow but we went later in the evening and service was great. read more

This place is a poor excuse for Mexican food! Coming from california, shoulda expected this. There were four of us and all got something different. And all four plates came on four different looking paper plates. Food was pretty bland. Inside looked out dated. We were starving from the night before but still sad we didn't just go to the Taco Bell next door. The horchata on the other hand was alright. Oh and the salsa bar looked pretty sad also. Looked recycled from the day or two before. Save your $$$ read more

I try to support local businesses as much as possible so I've been to this place 3 times hoping That the first 2 times they were having a bad day But not so. The Carne asada burritos do not taste fresh. The meat is hard and so are the tortillas. All three times I've gone through the drive-thru, I live close and the food Has always been cold, not warm cold! I've also ordered the fish taco which smelled and tasted very very fishy so much so I couldn't eat it. I would not recommend this restaurant, I hope management read these reviews So they can make improvements. We need a good Mexican place here and unfortunately this isn't it. read more

Missing your neighborhood authentic Mexican food? Go to Tata's. I moved to Colorado from San Diego 5 years ago and hardly ever find an ITEM of Mexican food that reminds me of the shops back home, let alone a full menu (and I mean the flavor, not the availability). Tata's employees rock, their red & green hot sauces are the flavor and consistency of back home, and the food is dank AF. The people leaving negative reviews are probably people that got out of line for their nightly Taco Bell. No shade, Taco Bell has its place at 12 am when you're barely clinging to consciousness. If you want authentic Mexican food, go here. The people calling it gross and leaving bad reviews are the same people who buy those sad crunchy taco shells from the grocery store and use Heinz ketchup as "hot sauce". read more

Worst burrito ever. Tortilla was like leather, the shredded beef was crusty & burned from the steam table. flavor was awful, like sweet bbq from a can. Matter of fact, everything tasted like it was from a can. The green chili that smothered it was an insult to the west. Gross at best. The "salsa" was as flavorful as water. The chips must have been cooked in extremely dirty oil. Tasted terrible. The restroom was Disgusting. Most gas stations are cleaner. Never again read more

Authentic tasting Mexican food with a lot of options! I do not like their pico de gallo personally, but everything else I have tried is great. (Someone who likes tomatoes more than me may love it.) Their hot sauces are also really good, although I wish I could get a larger portion of it. :) read more

I am on the fence about giving this place three stars or four stars. I think I am going to settle with four. Tata's food is not the best out there but it certainly isn't bad. The guy running the drawer and making orders was very friendly and brought out my torta quickly. The torta itself was doable and the prices were reasonable. What was the deciding factor with my star rating was I had to ask myself, 'Would I go back?' and the answer was 'Yes.' There is a small area where you can get your salsa here and kind of a spicy, pickled carrots which made me go back at least twice for another helping as a side dish(This area is complimentary). read more
