Food is AMAZING- especially the chicken satay and nasi goreng!! The pickled spicy egg with the beef rendang was outstanding. Sambal (hot sauce) excellent. Food is truly authentic. Nice indoor seating in a small family owned restaurant, with plenty of parking! Definitely come! read more

This was incredible. So much love in the food. This feels like being in someone's home, like my grandma herself came and fixed me a plate. I have a tumultuous relationship with my mom but the fried chicken was so good that I miss her a lot right now. That's how good it is. Genuinely incredible experience read more

Wow! We stopped in for lunch and could not have made a better decision! The food was crazy good! The people were so nice, which made the service fantastic as well. The seating inside wasn't particularly special, but not bad either. It was very clean and cozy. Everything we had was so tasty. We will definitely be going back, and soon! read more

Not sure why gross chain places continue to exist. The speed from order to out beats fast casual (especially when busy.) Then you get amazing food. Having the chili sauce in container for me to add allowed me spice, but as dish came zero hot just super savory and yummy the meals are open and ready for any pallet. If you haven't enjoyed this little marvel make it your very next meal. Service was superb in speed, efficiency and friendliness. read more

Tasya's kitchen is absolutely delicious! I'm so glad I tried it and wish I had tried it sooner. My friend and I shared the lumpia, I had the nasi goreng and my friend had the mie goreng. The service was friendly, too. I can't wait to go back! read more

Food and service was good. However... Beware their credit card processor. It queries for your tip by percentage, but it's calculating that tip atop not just your food, but any takeout, AND the state's Meals Tax. read more

What a gem! Five stars for the great flavors, unique menu offerings, awesome price, and truly good service. The staff are helpful and patient -- I had a lot of questions and each were answered with care. For the uninitiated, Indonesian food reflects a melting pot of influence and culture- Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Middle Eastern...just to name a few. I had beef rendang (tender beef cooked in spicy coconut milk with rice and veg) , mie goreng (spicy chicken fried noodles), savory martabak (deep fried pockets served with a pickle and chili), siomay (Indonesian shumai), and lumpia (similar to spring rolls). My taste buds were in heaven. Make sure you check out the snacks and ready made dishes that are specials not found on the menu!! read more

I spent 5 years of my elementary school years in East Java and Madura. The food is a less spicy than much of what I remember, but the flavors are there. The peanut sauces in particular were very good, and the variety of dishes just made my heart happy! read more

We drove here from Massachusetts to check out this Indonesian spot in New Hampshire. It's a small but cozy restaurant with ample parking. We were a group of 6 people. The menu has a lot of classic Indonesian dishes, but we had heard that their soup and noodles are the best. The group started with spring rolls and sate Ayam and got a variation of noodles, chicken and beef rendang. I got the Tour of Indonesia that had a little bit of everything ($18). It came with rice, beef, chicken, soup and some appetizers. The Sate were perfectly cooked and the chicken was still juicy. The peanut sauce and the red chilli sauce was also delicious. The beef rendang was slow cooked and very well spiced. They also offer takeout and pickup. This was the first time I tried Indonesian food so I cannot comment on how authentic it was, but I'll definitely come here again. If you want to try a bit of everything then definitely get the Tour of Indonesia. Bonus: the chef came out to talk to us and to ask us how our food was. This was a nice gesture and made us feel very welcome. 5/5! read more

Great food and hospitality. It is a must try when i visit around. Staff was quick and very attentive.

Amazing place to try Indonesian food. We had the beef rendang which was super flavorful and tender , the chicken sate which was the best we ever had, the fried chicken (10/10, not oily, super crunchy) and the nasi goreng. We also got a bunch of their baked goods and desserts which were all good. One of the best places in New Hampshires ! read more

This was my first time trying Indonesian food and I have to say that this experience has left me wanting more. It's a rather small restaurant, but much bigger than another Indonesian place five miles away that didn't give me any service. I'm so glad that I came here instead, because it's a very comfortable, cozy eatery with incredibly kind staff and delicious food. I had the Tour of Indonesia platter, an order of chicken satay, and the Nasi Goreng, all of which were amazing! read more

Our first time. We've heard and read great things about Tasya's. We were not disappointed. They were helpful and friendly. I have to admit I wasn't sure about the heat (spice) of the food. I was able to choose on a 1 to 5. I chose 3 and still felt the heat. I strongly recommend read more

A small, family-owned restaurant in the middle of a residential neighbourhood will reward you with some delicious Indonesian cuisine! Somersworth, NH is home to a large Indoneisan immigrant community, and Tasya's Kitchen is a favourite restaurant. The family that owns this restaurant are so friendly and polite, and always welcome me with a smile. They also entertain my requests for making some of these dishes extra spicy, and boy, does it deliver! Like with most cuisines, the food here is best enjoyed family-style with a bigger group. My absolute favourites here the Mee Goreng (Stir-Fried Noodles), Lumpia (Spring Roll), and the Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken) with Sambal Matah. The chicken they use here is slow-growing heritage breed, with a dark and flavourful meat. So this fried chicken is so unique, you're not going to be able to find it anywhere else in the Seacoast area. I frequently come to this restaurant not just for their consistently delicious food, but homely atmosphere. They also do specials frequently, so it's worth following their Facebook or Instagram page if you're willing to try new things. I've recommend this restaurant to so many friends in this area, because it's truly a gem! A small menu done well is better than a large menu executed poorly - and Tasya's Kitchen shines because it's the former. read more

Tasya is probably the best Indonesian cook around Massachusetts, New Hampshire area. I ordered "Bakso Tennis", "Ayam Kremes" and "Empek Empek" from Tasya today, and they were amazing. The Bakso Tennis was very authentic, Ayam Kremes was so good. I'll stop there and will eat the empek empek tomorrow. I can't eat all of them in one seating. I can't wait to order more food from Tasya.. i just wish she's not that far away!!! read more

Great food. Fresh ingredients delicious tasting. I had the Bakso Tenis Special with meatballs and tofu. It was delicious.

So, it's small, but NOT claustrophobic at all (there are much smaller restaurants out there). One star for clean dining area (plus clean bathroom). Another star for friendly staffs. The rest for yummy food. Yummy authentic Indonesian (javanese style mostly) food. Enak banget! We tried Tour of Indonesia which has most of the menu item (rendang, chicken satay, curry chicken, veggie lumpia, egg and tofu balado/chilly, veggies, soto soup, and white rice). Great start. Then we tried traditional rice plates: nasi goreng, nasi ayam kremes, and nasi bungkus. Remind us of street food in Java. Then plentiful of sides and snacks. We tried kue talam, pisang molen, singkong keju, and otak otak. Definitely coming back for more! read more

Driving down High St. And noticed this place opened and came in on a whim. Nice inside; clean and bright and smells great. Very friendly staff and easy to understand menu. Novice at Indonesian food here and vegetarian so both women working walked me through the options and flavors; excellent service and explanation. Similar options and flavors to a Thai menu and also similar pricing but the "Pastel" which is like an empanada appetizer and the vegetarian Gado Gado was excellent! The owner came out to greet us when our meals were served; totally above and beyond!Absolutely recommend read more

I keep coming back here to get my kind of comfort food!!! Never failed my expectations! Every time I visit my cousin in Somersworth..I won't miss my chance to enjoy the yummiest Indonesian food around the area! The place is so homey. Thank You Tasya's Kitchen! Keep up the good work read more

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The building is small and the parking lot is confusing to navigate especially with the snow on the ground. Went for lunch today around 1pm and there were plenty of places to sit. Probably 4-5 tables total. You order at the counter and theres a pickup station on the other end. Theres also utensils and napkins by the pickup station too. The inside is clean and we'll kept. There's no baby changing tables in the bathroom. I ordered the Tour of Indonesia, sate chicken, and fried fish dish, also got the Thai tea drink. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful and made to order. I really enjoyed the peanut sauce that came with the sate chicken and the chicken itself was moist and delicious. The fried fish dish was great too. The tour of Indonesia plate was fun and I liked how it came with a bit of everything. It's a dish that could be shared. The Thai tea was refreshing and the perfect balance of sweet. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be back to try other dishes. read more

Another solid addition to the Tri-City area's dining options - Tasya's Kitchen offers delicious and homemade Indonesian fare. Proprietor's used to own Dave Spicy house (route 108 in Somersworth) in the early 2000's and after having lunch there it shows that they apply the same level of spicy goodness. Beef rendang was super tender and flavorful and came with various accoutrements such as hard boiled egg, rice with crispy onion on top, red chili sambal, and a medley of green bean, tumeric and maybe galangal. Grilled sate ayam (chicken thigh sate) with peanut sauce - another gem indeed. Also had the Lumpia Semarang which is an Indonesian fried spring roll with chicken, shrimp, bamboo shoots served with a sweet chili sauce. All dishes affordable and more importantly super tasty. I wish this place long and continued success! read more

This restaurant is awesome! I have been looking for a really good Indonesian restaurant in the area for a quite a while and I finally found one with Tasya's kitchen! All the food I have ordered so far has been awesome, it is very authentic Indonesian food. I have traveled a lot to Indonesia, and I always love eating the local food when I am there, however finding authentic indonesian food relatively close to Boston has been a challenge. The Mie Komplit (Indonesia noodle dish, with marinated chicken and pork), and Nasi Goreng (indonesian style fried rice), were both very tasty! The place is small, but very clean and on top of the food you can order, they have food you can purchase off the shelves, such as Indonesian snacks, and special dishes. Even though I live close to an hour away from here, I will be coming here often! read more

Absolutely fantastic. Everything we ate was delicious, it was cozy and family run. Such a great place. I recommend it to everyone I know!

Awesome Indo-cuisine joint! Ive been a customer since 2013 whenever she participated in an indonesian bazaar. Then she opened a restaurant, but we have relocated to MA. Even though it was the day after a holiday and the kitchen was out of some ingredients, we still gave Tasya's Kitchen 5 stars. We enjoyed pempek (fish cake in broth with noodles), lumpia, and beef rendang. It's worth the ride from the Boston area. read more

The food is delicious. Had the Tahu (aka tofu) Isi...soft tofu stuffed with vegetables and fried into a crunchy, aromatic crust. Addictive on one try. Also the gado-gado, a many ingredient vegetarian dish in a complex peanut sauce. The space is small, clean and attractive, and the atmosphere super-friendly mom-and-pop. Vegetarians take note: the many seems to offer few choices, but ask, and there are at least two dishes that they'll make vegan by substituting out the chicken...I plan to try these on future visits so watch this space. read more

OMG!! Such amazingly tasty and fresh food! We had a bunch of different appetizers and the pork noodle dish. The best spring rolls ever!! Hands down. And the stuffed veggie tofu disappeared but the peanut sauce and the texture of the ground chicken stuffed tofu with a fresh squeeze of lime paired nicely with the egg noodles and pork. read more
