When you walk in, they make you feel like family. The service was excellent. We ordered three drinks and three buffets which totaled $63.48. We waited about 10 minutes for a table before the Hostess took us to our table and brought us our drinks. The food was amazing, and the cabbage was my favorite. It was the BEST thing on the menu. The good: Fried chicken wings Cabbage Fried Fish Mashed Potatoes/Gravy Pulled Pork The bad: Mac and cheese - it was awful Okra (too Slimy) Chicken Livers (overcooked) Unfortunately, the foods are mostly fried items. The desserts were average- they had slices of vanilla cake, strawberry cake, banana pudding, ice cream and Jello. If you are really hungry, this is the place where you can eat good, home cooked southern food. B+

I ordered ahead of time over the phone and it still took an hour for my food to be ready. Literally everyone who came in had a phone order and it wasn't ready. The inside is small, no indoor seating. The wings were good! And I would get those again by themselves. The Mac n cheese tastes like it has American cheese it. The greens had a nice Smokey flavor, but overall weren't great. Of what they offered, I would rather drive a little further to Uptown's.

They're something that's typically Southern food especially in the country. The place itself was very unassuming. I thought it was just a convenience store. The chitterlings were seasoned with cracked red pepper and came with a side of boiled cabbage. The chitterlings were chewy and had a spicy kick. It was not very tender so I could not eat a lot of them. You get a good portion if you order small. The staff were very nice and helpful.
