The only reason for not coming back is the distance from my home and the awful 1604 and 10 traffic during all that construction. Today, I went with my wife and one of her friends who was visiting from Chicago on our way home from birding out at Guadalupe River State Park. I don't remember the first time well enough to comment on any changes. I had a hard time choosing a salad. Every single one of them sound fantastic. I finally went with the Mediterranean. All I can say is that it was a wonderful salad. The awesome young lady who prepared it for me used tongs to mix the Hoo Hah out of it. Not only was itt was super fresh, and but I could taste every one of the many ingredients in every bite. It also came in a HUGE bowl. It was what I call a "man salad". I was actually full when it was finished. The only downside of the meal was actually a very positive situation in my opinion. I thought my Sprite Zero tasted funny. My wife disagreed. Either way, I couldn't drink it. I asked a manager if I could get a new cup and explained the situation. She got a little cup and had one of her guys taste it. He agreed with me. Now, why is this a positive situation? That young man immediately got to work cleaning the nozzle in case there was anything in it that was tainting the soda. I have been in similar situations where they just give me a new cup and go right to work as if they didn't care. In this case, the manager and her worker scored major loyalty points! I am bringing my group back the first chance I get.

I placed my order and handed her cash. She was so inconvenienced that I used cash. The level attitude is ridiculous. We ordered asada street tacos and asada quesadilla's. We tried asking them to change it but the rude girl at the window argued that's what their asada is like that. Lol! We have a comparison ‍... on top of that it was a 45 minute wait. I tried the Aroy Chick and OMG...SO flavorful! It definitely has a kick, but there's also a hint of sweetness that balances it out perfectly. Such a tasty combination and definitely something I'd order again! I also tried the Aroy Gyoza, and that seasoning is a GAME CHANGER! The food was so good that I ordered food to go and decided to try the Whatever. I absolutely love the name--perfect for those moments when you don't know what you want and want to let Ms. Cho surprise you! She chose Pad Kra Pao for me and OMG... DELICIOUS! Owner Cho was super pleasant and welcoming. Just a heads-up: this is a one-person kitchen, so be patient, especially when they're busy. It may take a little longer, but good food is worth the wait! Definitely a spot I'd come back to for more!

Today Cilantro Mexican fusion came to our neighborhood to sell delicious foods. I ordered carne…read moreasada fries, fideo loco and asada mini tacos. I was able to preorder so I wouldn't have to wait in line. The menu online was easy to read and order was easy as well. Menu prices were decent for a food truck. Asada fries were $10 fideo loco $10 and asada tacos (4) $8. I first tried the fries... so I thought it came with sour cream and alll the yummy fixings that traditional asada fries comes with... well that's extra I guess and needs to be added in the extras menu when ordering. I did not know this and just ordered as is. Only came with fries, carne asada and cheese. I had sour cream and salsa verde here at home so I dressed it up a little. The fries were more like McDonald's or whataburger fries. Thin and not fresh cut. I was expecting fresh cut fries. The taste was pretty good. I did like the asada flavor. Fideo loco was very good. Had the traditional fideo and extras. So the extras came with meat, beans, veggies and potatoes. Wow I enjoyed every bite. Flavor was amazing. I would definitely order again. The mini tacos were very great. I'm a sucker for carne asada when it comes to tacos. There are other options like pastor and Barbacoa... I settled for the asada. Once again the meat was generously proportioned. It did come with double corn tortilla some cilantro, white diced onion, limes and a green salsa and red salsa. Each bite was delicious. I didn't want it to end. The green salsa was very mild but has amazing flavor. At first the red salsa tasted good on the taco and I didn't feel any heat from it. But... a minute later was a different story. It wasn't too spicy but it's one of those salsa's that get you when you least expect it. That's when you know this is some good stuff. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu. I have 4 out 5 stars only because I wasn't too impressed with the fries I ordered. I would recommend this food truck to everyone.
